Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2356: Negotiations

As soon as the skeleton is destroyed, Sam made a move. *SWOOSH* *SWOOSH* *BOOM*

Rashma who just finished off such a critical opponent also made a move. He punched straight ahead in the empty air. To her surprise, Sam actually blocked her move. He was almost sent flying, if not for her timely stop, maybe he would have.

As for why he blocked his attack? In the original trajectory of her punch stood a stunned and stupefied young woman who is from Apolloʼs academy. She is soaked in sweat, shivering as if she was thrown into the harshest and whitest of the winters.

Sam looked at her and said. ”You should really think twice before you make a move. Just because the other two members of your team are dead because of idiocy, doesnʼt mean you should walk the same path as them.”

The woman came out of her stupor and gritted her teeth.

Her aura raged as if she wanted to attack Sam, but the latter just clicked his tongue and said. ”Donʼt bother. You know it will not end well. For you to land an attack on me, you will have to use all the things up your sleeve, for me to kill you, all I have to do is step aside.”

The woman, who is named Grethen, controlled her anger as her gaze met with Rashmaʼs. Judging by the latterʼs expression, it is obvious that she will kill her if Sam asks her to. ”Now that you calmed down, do you mind explaining your sudden move? I thought you were just spying for your new boss, that is why I didnʼt say anything. But making a move on her? Particularly, after seeing what she did to that skeleton a couple of minutes ago? That is plain idiotic.”

Grethen ignored Sam and looked at Rashma. ”I need to talk to you.

I donʼt know if you understand the situation of the pocket dimension at the moment. But if you want to get out of here safely, we need to work together.”

Rashma looked at her without answering.

Sam shrugged and waved his hand. The bones of the skeleton started flying towards him and into his storage.

Grethen extended her hand and caught one of them. However, she wasnʼt able to store it away. Samʼs force is still pulling it. ”You better let that go.” Sam spoke calmly.

The woman ignored him once again and said. ”It is you who destroyed this skeleton and look at this parasite already claiming the spoils. You know what kind of person he is. He is nothing but an opportunist who colluded with the Hub to work against the academy realm as a whole.

In a situation like this... you have to keep your back safe from him.

So, please letʼs talk privately.”

Sam sighed and turned to Rashma. ”You want to talk to her? Or work with them? She is currently working with a bunch of other students from Olympian region, Norse region and some other smaller academies. You want to go there?”

Samʼs question was direct and now, Rashma gave an answer. ”What do you want to do?”

Sam smiled and turned to Grethen. ”You heard her. She is part of the Gambler academy team and I will be talking on behalf of the Gambler academy students. There is no need for our star fighter to take the burden of talking with external people like you.

And before we talk, you better let that bone go. Or, I will take more than a bone.”

Grethen was unwilling to let go and looked at Sam a tad bit stubbornly.

The next moment, she suddenly felt a hit of pain on the shoulder. She noticed that a very thin tear has appeared there with a faint streak of blood dripping out. She gulped nervously and let go of the bone.

But by then, the small tear turned into a huge tear, revealing her bone inside. ”Fuck.”

She cursed out loud and started treating her arm. She didnʼt speak while she did that and fell into a deep thought. After some hesitation she finally spoke. ”I am sure, you understood the situation. The Black skeletons are way too powerful. Including Rashma, only three people managed to leave a nick on those skeletons. However, the count of the black skeletons is increasing.

And the idiotic thing you did to help them grow even more... the situation is out of hand. We cannot use the escape tokens.

We need to work together.

Currently, Drik from Loki academy is leading the team. He is the strongest among us. There is also another team being led by Hari from the Karthikeya academy. Our team members also sent an envoy to them and we are sure that we will be working together as well.

The team also spread out to find people that strayed. The only one left is Rashma and I am here to bring her with me.” ”Only Rashma?”

Sam asked with a smirk and a raised eyebrow.

Grethen pursed her lips without saying anything. She knew Sam is smart enough to know the hidden meaning behind what she said. She need not explain herself more.

Sam turned to Crow and Rashma and said, ”I am guessing, you have no qualms about me making decisions?”

Both of them shook their heads. Sam nodded and said to Grethen. ”Alright, we will come along with you.” ”Let me guide you. I have created spots with concealment formations. I also put up some surveillance formations around. We need to avoid the skeletons and move while halting in these concealment formations.”

Sam rolled his eyes and said. ”No need. Just take these.”

Sam gave a few space tokens for all three of them and told them to break in a certain order.

After three tokens, all three of them appeared near a structure that looked like a huge tent. The only difference is its conjured by the black mud.

Someone used their earth element to construct it.

Inside, there are around thirty plus people from different academies. They are not the whole team though. Some people are out there scouting and fetching other people. According to Samʼs calculations, there are a little more than a hundred people left. Two hundred people are out of the competition, but most of them are dead. From what the specters checked, the team led by Hari only has around twenty five to thirty people. The team lead by Drik has fifty people. The remaining are strays.

They are being recruited by both the teams at the moment.

When the trio from Gambler academy walked in, they could feel the gazes of surprise. No one expected all three of them to be here.

And one of the Olympian academy candidates spoke their thoughts out loud. ”Grethen, why did you bring all three? You mission is to only bring on person, Rashma. Why did you bring that extra baggage here?”

Grethen gritted her teeth, but didnʼt answer. She couldnʼt care less about what these thought and turned to Sam. ”You three wait here. I will bring Drik here. This is the outer area. You are only allowed until this point until you join the team.”

She didnʼt wait for an answer.

Crow sneered and said. ”These guys seemed to have planned to stay here for a long time. They even established hierarchy. Do you really think that we should work together with them?”

He didnʼt hide his tone and spoke out loud. This of course attracted a few sharp and scornful gazes.

Sam just chuckled and said. ”We will see.” Soon, Drik came out of the room with a deep frown. He looked at Sam and said. ”We are not interested to work with you. We are only interested in talking to Rashma.” He came straight to the point. ”You can try. I donʼt really have any objections.” Sam said directly even stepped to the side and gesturing him to talk to Rashma.

But Rashma frowned and said. ”Talk to him, or we leave.”

That is all she said. She didnʼt even look at Drik. ”Now, do you want to talk to me?”

Drik hesitated and said. ”How can we even trust you? Would you trust yourself if you are in my place?” ”First of all, that ʼwhat ifʼ scenario you just mentioned... cross it off your mind and never think of it again. I will not be in your position. Never.

Second of all, what choice do you have?

I will be honest. At the moment, I came here with these two, just because I am curious. I didnʼt come here out of necessity. Right now, I have the most information, I have the most things set up in the pocket dimension, I have most number of bag of tricks and finally, I have the strongest fighter in the pocket dimension with me.

The only fighter who has yet to actually defeat a skeleton and no less a black skeleton. If anything, I should be asking you questions about why we should even join you.”
