Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2178  Ling Tian and White

Just like Sam wanted, he started finishing the labors quickly. Within that week, before the fifth revived pocket dimension was finished, he is already at the eighth labor.

This news surprised everyone as it spread. However, it wasnʼt much of a concern for most people. Except for the select few.

Dayus was among them.

Luckily, in the fifth pocket dimension, he managed to obtain the legacy inheritance and rewarded it to one of the team members.

And another one of his team members managed to snatch the highest prize in the revived pocket dimension.

Dayus believed in his heart that his luck was because Sam is not present in the pocket dimensions. In fact, even in the first couple of pocket dimension, he believed that the only reason the flaming skulls managed to trick Sam away into taking the rewards is because Sam is not prepared for them.

No one knew that the flaming skulls possessed information regarding the legacy inheritances and expected them to appear in such a high profile manner in the last second.

So, he was glad that Sam didnʼt come from the third one. After all, he didnʼt see Sam losing all that many times in this whole journey. But now that he saw Sam is speed running the labors, he had a bad feeling.

However, there is another person who had an even worse feeling. White.

When White arrived at the Academy realm, he made a name for himself on the first day. Everyone was curious and everyone thought he became the next best thing. However, Sam happened.

Granted that he is the one who picked the fight, it is still a huge dent on his reputation and confidence. Then came another person from flaming skulls.

Wearing that stupid mask, he came over and destroyed White. The whole fight is controlled by that person. White was completely on the passive side.

As if that is not enough, ever since the pocket dimensions there is another guy from the flaming skills. He is the only one that walked around with his face wide open to the rest of the world. His face is the only known face among the flaming skulls.

He came for the first two and didnʼt come forward after that.

The word is that he even managed to catch Sam off guard. From what White knew, Sam is not someone who you can just catch off guard. Even if you can manage that, that means you have at least strength equivalent strength.

This made White even more resentful.

With all the nonsense of hub and its payments, he couldnʼt even focus too much on his training and with these revived pocket dimensions, the competition flared even more. The team established with Dayus failed in a blockbuster way.

Flamings skulls remained untouchable.

With the disappearance of the Dean, no one was able to create as much commotion as before to catch the flaming skulls.

Now, White is a bit aimless.

Sam is not appearing in pocket dimensions. He just went on to deal with the labors.

Meanwhile he couldnʼt help but think about the rest of the situation.

The whole city is in chaos. The city guards are unable to control anything. More and more murders are happening. In other regions, academies are already at war. The three Norse academies also made big moves on Zeus Academy.

The Gambler Academy is still not backing down.

Bloody Chariot did say that he wanted to stabilize the situation with the Gambler academy, but he didnʼt make any moves regarding that.

Zeus Academy is in constant peril.

With all this mess happening, there is just one thing that scared most of the upper echelons in the Olympian region and some other regions.

There are two regions that didnʼt have this much turmoil. The sanatan and the xia regions.

Both of them are the ones with the least amount of turmoil. It turned out that they have enough reserves of coins to make their people survive. They also formed tighter alliances with the other academies within their region. They became wary of the new entries and ensured strict measures to counter any plans to create conflict.

Since the other regions are in constant state of turmoil, these two regions are now stronger relatively. So, once the conflict reaches its peak, the academies there can just gain biggest advantage possible.

White sighed at this situation.

He has known about the Academy realm a long time ago. Some of the finest powerhouses graduated from here, but now it seems like all the future powerhouses will definitely fall down here.

He needs to find his focus once again.

He gritted his teeth and made a decision. He took out a communication token and infused his energy in there.

”Can we meet?”

There is no response for a moment. Before a perfunctory ”okay” came.

White took off from the academy and walked deep into the forest outside of the city. In the forest, there was someone already waiting for him.

A young man standing tall under a tree as he looked at a small bird that stood on the branch.

The manʼs face is something many people in Gamblerʼs academy including Sam has repeatedly seen. Particularly Sam. With the long robes and a peaceful expression, the man that stood there is none other than Ling Tian.

The assistant who dealt with the issues for the God Gambler. One of the senior most instructors and elders in the Gambler Academy.

”You said you didnʼt want to talk to me again when you ran away.”

Ling Tian spoke while still looking at the bird.

”I didnʼt want to speak either. But the situation is not ideal for me.” White said in a low voice.

”Situation is never ideal for anyone White. You either need to change yourself to fit in better or you change the situation to make it fit you better. I thought I taught you that since you were a kid.

Seems like I am just a failed teacher at this point.”

White didnʼt say anything and just stayed silent.

”Anyway, why did you contact me?” Ling Tian asked me with a sigh.

White looked at him and spoke.

”I need coins. I donʼt want to worry about this Hubʼs payment hanging on my neck. I need to get back on track to focus on myself. I need to train and improve myself. Otherwise, I will never be able to defeat him.”

Ling Tian chuckled and asked.

”Is that Hubʼs payment the only thing that made you stop from seeking the success you deserve? As long as I clear this obstacle, are you sure you can achieve what you want?”

White once again maintained silence.

Ling Tian continued.

”Its fine if you donʼt want to answer me. But you need to answer to your own conscience before you can accept this help from me.

Before you set out, I asked you not to. I told you that you cannot do this. But you did it anyway. You were adamant and you accused me, your teacher, as being a biased individual.

You said that I am biased towards someone that I never taught, that I never loved and I never even helped grow properly.

All because I told you the truth. But you didnʼt listen to me.

You wanted to prove me wrong.

But this is the first real problem that you encountered after you come here. The first real problem that you couldnʼt solve with your recoil style and you are asking me for help.

So, are you really trying to prove me wrong? Is this really the right way for you to gain victory?”

White just stayed silent for a long time. No answer.

Ling Tian sighed and said.

”You can leave. I will handle your coin problem. But remember White, it is not late to backdown now, but at one point, it will be too late and you wouldnʼt be able to get out of the situation, even if you want to.

Maybe, even I wonʼt be able to stop you from suffering. Remember that.”

White didnʼt say anything once again. He just turned around and left.

Ling Tian pursed his lips and took out another communication token.

”I need to meet you…”

After twenty minutes.

Sam came to the same spot on Harbinger.

*SWOOSH*

He landed on the ground while the Harbinger disappeared.

”So, why the sudden invite? Did Gambler want more entertainment or something? I understand that the current plot is boring, but it is necessary in my grand scheme.”

”No, it is not. I need to ask you for a personal favor.”

”A personal favor? To the one and the only Ling Tian?”

”Yes, I know that the Hub is yours. So, I want you to release White of that contract.”

Sam raised an eyebrow. This is indeed something that he didnʼt expect.

”So, you are where he knows me from. That guy is a piece of work, I must say.”
