Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 1848 - 1848 Cleared City

1848 Cleared City

The rest of the squad immediately came to check on this person.

They didn’t understand why he is behaving like that all of a sudden. They tried to use their spiritual energy to check him, but they were unable to do so. And externally, he looked like a piece of dead wood. There is no reaction from his cells no matter what they did, his body stiffened.

His blood seemed to have been stuck and then it felt it started flowing in reverse direction.

In fact, that is actually true. What they couldn’t see inside that person’s body is that a few vines spread out from the stomach. These vines are extremely strong, even though the body is resisting them, they are unfazed and unaffected.

The vines spread to the heart and other internal organs and pierced into before they started sucking on the vitality. The vine at the heart in particular is completely sucking back the blood that just came out of it.

The spiritual energy from the core sensed this and started sending the energy to these organs, in fact after a short while, it cut off some supply to the brain, it only let the brain have enough energy to survive while the rest is being distributed to the organs.

But it is only entering a bottomless bucket.

Before long, the vines sucked up everything inside and only left the skeleton and the flesh as they spread out of the body.

The people that are touching the body to examine it were shocked and one of them already got caught, meanwhile, another person in a different bunker also froze on the spot while distributing the energy.

.....

Soon, the energy from the external formation got messed up. The White Sand group immediately made their move. They wanted to ask how Sam did it, but the questions can wait, while the opportunity cannot.

At this moment, as soon as the captain and the vice-captain revealed their auras the people hidden within the mansion in the middle came out to face them.

Sam casually looked at the tablet and clicked on a bunch of red dots leisurely. He acted as if he is just playing a game.

All over the city, many people froze in their actions and soon they started getting absorbed by the vines. The formations started disappearing one after another and soldiers started disappearing one after another.

When Guard Captain threw a full-fledged attack with his spear, the opponent that was ready to dodge, suddenly stiffened up in the middle causing him to take the hit head-on. The spear cut off his left shoulder while the guard captain made another move.

The spear shot through this person once more and he plopped onto the ground like a broken kite. After that, the vines started coming out of the body to the guard captain’s surprise and the enemy is soon dead.

The vines started spreading around to capture other people within the mansion.

A similar thing happened to the opponent the Vice-captain is facing.

When the vice captain’s opponent finally fell, they saw a spectacular scene in the city.

Many vines emerged from different corners. From under the earth, from within the walls of houses, mansions and other buildings etc. The vines this time are much stronger and each vine is giving off different elemental energy vibrations as they spread wildly.

The whole city was soon thrown into chaos.

Since it is now a military base, there are obviously no civilians inside, it is full of mercenaries that are hired by the Seven Star Alliance and members of the alliance and sect.

The White Sand Guard didn’t waste the chance that was provided to them. They lunged to make their move amidst their chaos. And Sam is no exception. While the senior members of the guard jumped to fight their peers, Sam jumped to fight his.

Except, the peers of the senior members are mostly infected with the vines and they are easy to deal with, but most of Sam’s opponents are foot soldiers are not really infected with the vines, they are also at the outskirts of the city from the start and are not really effected that much.

So, Sam dived into it directly.

According to the conditions laid out by Kartikeye, Sam didn’t use any weapons or elemental energies, he jumped in unarmed and his first kick landed squarely on the chin of his opponent, completely ripping the other party’s head off of their neck.

He took the momentum forward and jumped on to the next target. A punch to the throat went through it and killed him on the spot.

One hit one kill. Sam ran through his peers as if they are Mortal Plane cultivators. He didn’t care how many they came and how fast they came, but he dealt with them all the same.

But there are not many of them as he wanted. There are only around five hundred and out of them he was only able to fight a hundred and fifty or so, the rest fled after they saw his domineering move forward and escaped since most of them are mercenaries.

Of course, they were unable to, they were caught by vines mostly and Sam managed to hunt a couple of dozen of them.

The whole thing went too smoothly.

The archers, formation operators, the ambush squads, none of the soldiers were spared. The whole thing looked like a massacre.

The white Sand Guard had never really had a victory this easy and they have had some spectacular victories before.

After everyone is dead, the Guard captain sent a couple of his subordinates to spread the news. Their communication lines are not established well and certainly not this deep into the continent, so the subordinates went to the nearest location from which they could send messages through their communication token.

Meanwhile, the rest of the guards decided to clean up the city.

“The vines soon stopped growing and gave out some fruits as they started withering. There is one fruit for one person killed by the vine.

Sam plucked the fruits carefully, particularly the fruits that are created by the dead bodies of Divine Plane Pre-transcendent cultivators.

Looking at the fruits that Sam is collecting the White Sand Guard became curious. But Sam didn’t bother explaining to them.

After all, it involves revealing a lot of his capabilities. The fruits that these guys consumed from the trees in their territory might have looked like some elixirs, but in reality, they are just some seeds. And if a person consumes more fruits, the seeds will fuse within the body forming much larger and more potent energy seeds.

These seeds also act as bugs that Sam could track with his crystal tablet, as long as he is within a certain range, he can identify their locations, and by combining the map and layout, he can identify these people’s locations on the map.

So, when he saw that there are so many people who consumed the fruits stationed in this city, Sam didn’t dare to lose the opportunity, he activated the energy seeds that seeped deep into the bodies.

They assimilated as part of the bodies and as soon as they are activated, the vines started consuming the bodies from the inside out.

The energy is gone, the organs are dead and finally, the person himself left this world, without even knowing what exactly is happening to them.

The city was swept clean and Sam also managed to clear a bit for his target of 3000 kills.

White Sand Guard tried to pry some more information from Sam to see what exactly these fruits are and how he managed to kill all of them so easily, but they got nothing.

They cleaned up the city and occupied it. They took over the formations and set up the defenses, meanwhile, Sam started activating some more red dots on the tablet. These red dots are not actually the cultivators that consumed the fruits, instead, they are the seeds they are some stray seeds in the wilderness.

When Sam used the clone puppets that looked like him and the players to spread across the continent, the puppets were pumped with all kinds of vine seeds. So, when they were destroyed, the seeds were spread all over the place.

Of course, Sam could track these seeds too.

Now he started activating all the seeds around the city they just captured and left only one path open and that path is for the forces of Dark Sea Sect to reach this place.

He informed Sam about the situation to them.

Sam went on to check some of the formations of the city. There is a large communication formation that is designed to communicate directly with the headquarters of Solar Sect.

He created a cloned the face of the person in charge hear and made a puppet that looked exactly like him to send a message to the headquarters.
