Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 1842: Trial

The next two days, Sam was on constant run on Harbinger.

He moved from city to city and everywhere he went he was immediately discovered. But it is not just within the cities, even when he was travelling, he was being detected.

But he didnʼt feel distressed at this situation. Instead he just smiled.

”It seems like it is about time, to make the next move.”

As he muttered to himself, Sam started travelling once again and this time, he didnʼt take any stops, he already had a location in mind.

That night, he appeared at the White Sand City, the headquarters of the White Sand Coast.

As soon as he arrived in the city, he triggered the surveillance system. Because, he didnʼt use a disguise, and he didnʼt even hide his aura. He walked into the city like he owned the damn place.

At this moment, Ervin is taking some rest after a long meeting.

”Sir, we picked on the signal of Sam that we are searching for.”

”Why are you reporting this to me? We have picked his location a bunch of times, but we were unable to catch him. Just report to the nearest squad.”

”No, sir. This time the situation is a bit different, he is actually in the White Sand city.”

Ervin was dumbfounded.

”What are you talking? He really came to White Sand city? A guy who is capable of duping so many people, donʼt tell me he is an idiot? Why would anyone in his position come to White Sand City?”

”Our team has already gone to capture him sir. They blocked the aerial travel and closed down the city with a formation. The spatial lock is in place anyway.”

”Good bring that guy over and contact all the people that were effected by this. I am sure they are all in the city anyway.”

”Yes sir. Even if we donʼt contact them, I think they will arrive on their own. They must have already gotten the news.”

”Its fine then. Save yourselves some trouble.”

Sam who is walking in the streets was soon surrounded by the guards. He just raised his hands and said.

”I surrender.”

Everyone is stunned.

By now, Sam has become quite popular in the circle of guards and soldiers. The number of times he escaped from people is insane. In fact, he even managed to escape from Divine Plane Pretranscendent cultivators.

They didnʼt even understand why he chose surrender at this moment.

But they cuffed him up and brought them directly to meet Ervin.

A few minutes later.

Erivin sat on his seat as he looked at Sam coldly.

Just now the people that all had their money stolen from Sam arrived.

”Are you new to the White Sand Coast?”

Ervin asked.

Sam nodded and said.

”I am actually new to your planet.”

”New to the planet? I have already checked, your signature has not been in the external logs of the worm holes or the space gates. How did you arrive here?”

”There are many other ways to get in here. I donʼt want to discuss about that right now. I might tell you later.”

”Anyway, no matter how you came here, you have abide by the rules of the White Sand Coast. You have stolen from these people and the amount is not small. It is almost equivalent to one fifth of the annual administration budget of the whole Dark Sea Sect.”

”I didnʼt know it was that much. Not too bad.”

Sam obviously didnʼt show any signs that he cared about this situation. For him this is not a big deal.

”Do you know the punishment for this?”

”Yes, three decades of imprisonment with sealed cultivation, of course all my wealth will be confiscated.”

Ervin frowned.

”You know the punishment but you still committed a crime?”

”Well, there is another thing I have noticed within your laws. In case of crimes like robbery, if the victims choose to let go of the grievance and can receive a settlement with the thief, the thief can be let go with a fine.”

The room turned silent. Sam didnʼt wait for anyone to respond and dropped the rings that are on his hand.

He then turned to the merchants and said.

”I apologize for making you guys worry and run around. I did for a selfish desire of mine. I would still like to buy your goods and that too at 1.5 times the price. And if you can let go of this case, I can give two times the price and also some very very special gifts that wouldnʼt be able to refuse.”

The merchants frowned. They really donʼt want to trust Sam again. After all, they made them look like fools as they gave in to the greed once.

Sam smiled and continued.

”Mr Ervin, you can check the contents of the rings. The special gifts I mentioned are also inside. You can offer them this. I am sure they would benefit more the gifts than me being in the prison.”

One of the attendants took the spatial rings and gave them to Ervin.

When Ervin looked at the contents, he is dumbfounded to say the least. He didnʼt expect the contents would be so rich and grand.

Sam didnʼt just put some massive heaps of spirit stones in there. There are precious metals, weapons, herbs and fruits, all kinds of resources. Then there are some blueprints.

Ervin tookout the blueprints and was once again dumbfounded. He looked at the merchants and only one thought came to his mind.

”There is no way in hell these guys would press charges.”

He explained what they are getting and just like he thought, they didnʼt press charges, they even thanked Sam after. In fact, Darin even joked.

”Sam, if you really feel like robbing once again, please pick me. If you are going to give our this sort of compensation every time, you can rob me every week.”

Sam just smiled at this and his cuffs were taken off.

But he was not dismissed yet. He looked at Ervin and said.

”It seems like you might have already guess my intentions?”

”Not all of it, but one thing I can guess is that you did this meet me?”

”Yeah, I want to make a deal with you. But a bartender told me that you wouldnʼt be easy to contact. So, I have to take some drastic actions.”

”But the price is way too much isnʼt it? Even if you have massive resources at your hands, it is still a waste. Even I am feeling a little envious of your wealth.”

”Donʼt worry about it. All I have is money and making it is very easy for me.”

”Anyway, lets not waste our time with this useless talk. What do you want?”

”I want an official soldier position under the ranks of Dark Sea Sect.”

As soon as the words came out, everyone looked at Sam as if he is a crazy person. If not for the fact that he managed to make the whole White Sand Coast frustrated by his antics, they would have thought he is a retard as well.

”A soldier position? Are you joking?”

”No. I will be honest with you. I have to settle some scores with the Solar Sect on the other side and I want to contribute to the war. But currently I donʼt have my crew with me and I need some people who have good enough resources and man power.

We can help each other.”

”Why should I trust you? You could even be a spy from the Solar Sect?”

”Really? Do you really think Solar sect can even afford to spend this much on a spy? If you donʼt really believe me, you can test me out, put me in a team with some of your best people. I am not even a Divine Plane cultivator. You can send a bunch of Divine Plane cultivators with me.

They just have to be strong enough to defeat the leaders on the Coast line of the Solar Sect on the other side of the sea. I will create the opening you need.”

”Opening? Do you really think it is that easy to take down the coast? We couldnʼt penetrate through the defense for a long time. We could only choose an alternative long winded route for a long time.

The natural geography and the resources are in their favor. The beasts in the forests of the coast in particular, they form a natural defense line for the Solar Sect, how can you guarantee the victory.”

”Well, because I came back from the Solar Sect area. Particularly through that coast. I have left some things there and they will be able to deal with them easily. The beasts and the wildlife you talk about are going to be gone.

I can even give you demonstration if you want.”

Ervin looked at Sam calmly. There is no emotion on his face.
