Medical and Martial God

Stepped on your IQ?

It took Meng Yinwan, Kristina, and the Heavenly Sect Sect Leader a good ten-plus seconds of staring blankly before they realized Huang Quan was cursing out the Hell’s Gate Sect Leader, mocking his brain-dead enemy strategy.

The level of his trash talk was insane!

”I was just explaining my own ideas about how to deal with the enemy. If you don’t agree, you can refute them. Why do you have to humiliate me like this?”

The Hell’s Gate Sect Leader, furious and ashamed, said:

”A man can be killed but not insulted. Huang Quan, you’ve gone too far!”

Smack!

Ye Xiu slapped the Hell’s Gate Sect Leader across the face.

”I just stated a simple truth, what are you yelling for? Ask the others here whether your enemy strategy is brain-dead or not.”

Even though his lungs felt like they were about to explode from being slapped, the Hell’s Gate Sect Leader still turned to look at Meng Yinwan and the Heavenly Sect Sect Leader, asking:

”You also think my enemy strategy is unacceptable?”

Meng Yinwan and the Heavenly Sect Sect Leader kept their mouths shut. They didn’t have Huang Quan’s absolute-crushing power over the Hell’s Gate Sect Leader, so they wouldn’t casually open their mouths and risk angering him.

Yet by not speaking, they were essentially agreeing!

The Hell’s Gate Sect Leader almost spat out a mouthful of old blood. He glared at Ye Xiu and said:

”Then you tell me, what’s wrong with my enemy strategy?”

Meng Yinwan, Kristina, and the Heavenly Sect Sect Leader also turned to Ye Xiu, wanting to hear Huang Quan’s grand opinion.

Ye Xiu thought for a moment, then said:

”Although King Island is where over 700,000 second-class people, more than 260,000 first-class people, and 3,500 members of the ruling class of the Eternal Kingdom live, King Island itself, as the Eternal Kingdom’s economic, political, cultural, scientific, and military center, has a complete industrial chain and social structure. That makes King Island home to over 30 million people, among them more than ten million Martial Artists.”

”Among those ten million Martial Artists, aside from the Official Family’s first-class, second-class, and ruling-class people and their Martial Artist family members, there’s also a huge number of civilian Martial Artists.”

The Martial Artist numbers from the Eternal Kingdom Ye Xiu had previously obtained were inaccurate; he and everyone else had ignored the civilian Martial Artists.

Just like in Xuanse, the Official Family’s Martial Artist organization is the Heavenly Net, but among the common folk there are still masses of Martial Artist families, Sects, and Loose Cultivators.

The Eternal Kingdom is the same.

”If we concentrate our Power and launch a massive invasion of King Island, leaving aside whether our current Power can even beat the Official Family Martial Artists of King Island, what happens if we anger the civilian Martial Artists and push them into joining forces with the Official Family Martial Artists of King Island?”

”Even if we get lucky and win, and even manage to wipe out all the Martial Artists on King Island, how many of our people will we have left?”

”When the three Judicator Families then empty their nests and come out in full force, our remaining Martial Artists will instantly collapse and be slaughtered to the last man.”

After hearing this, the Hell’s Gate Sect Leader broke out in a cold sweat. Only now did he realize how risky his enemy strategy was, with zero deep thought and no comparison of the Power on both sides.

Meng Yinwan and the Heavenly Sect Sect Leader finally understood why Huang Quan had directly humiliated the Hell’s Gate Sect Leader. If they really followed his strategy and launched a full-scale invasion of King Island, the consequences would be unimaginable.

”Also, you descendants of the natives of the Eternal Islands have been lying low and enduring for countless years. What was it for?”

Ye Xiu continued:

”You want to take back your homeland. Put bluntly, you, Hell’s Gate Sect Leader, want to become King of the Eternal Kingdom. If all your people die, if you can’t conquer the various islands of the Eternal Islands, then even if you wipe out the three Judicator Families and the Eternal Kingdom, with what will you rule the Eternal Islands?”

Right now the Hell’s Gate Sect Leader looked like a student who hadn’t done his homework, being scolded by the teacher, head lowered, not daring to make a sound.

”Huang Quan, how do you think we should deal with the Eternal Kingdom and the three Judicator Families so that our chances of winning are higher?” Meng Yinwan asked humbly.

”First of all, you need to look further ahead.” Ye Xiu started his spiel.

”What do you mean by that?” the Heavenly Sect Sect Leader asked.

The Hell’s Gate Sect Leader raised his head and looked at Ye Xiu, opened his mouth, but in the end said nothing, afraid that the moment he spoke he’d get yelled at again.

”After you’ve destroyed the three Judicator Families and the Eternal Kingdom, you’ll have to govern the Eternal Islands, right?”

Ye Xiu sorted out his thoughts, then guided them step by step:

”The prosperity and flourishing of a nation can’t be achieved by brute military force alone; you need talent in all fields.”

”The Eternal Kingdom’s technological level is far ahead of all the countries on the globe. As for the Eternal Kingdom’s scientists and other elite personnel, you’re not thinking of stockpiling them in advance and saving them for later use?”

Because the Heavenly Sect Sect Leader broke the formation at the Phoenix Perch Island subway entrance, Heavenly Sect, Hell’s Gate, and the Restorer Alliance charged onto King Island and ruined Ye Xiu’s plan.

Originally, Ye Xiu had wanted to personally seize the scientists and other talents. Now he had no choice but to change his plan.

Let Heavenly Sect, Hell’s Gate, and the Restorer Alliance go catch people first. After they’re done catching them, Ye Xiu will wipe them all out in one go and take everything!

Heh heh!

This move is once-and-for-all, way less hassle than the original plan!

”Makes sense!”

Meng Yinwan, the Heavenly Sect Sect Leader, and the Hell’s Gate Sect Leader said in unison.

Only at this point did they start to feel somewhat impressed by Huang Quan’s insight, vision, and sense of the bigger picture.

”Aside from stockpiling talent in advance, what else do we need to do?” Meng Yinwan asked.

”While the Eternal Kingdom and the three Judicator Families still don’t have the mindset to fight a decisive battle against us, we need to quickly build up our Power.”

Ye Xiu raised one finger and said:

”First, train hard and improve your strength, especially since the Restorer Alliance is full of Pseudo War Gods—hurry up and use Spiritual Energy to cultivate;”

”Second, Heaven’s Gate Assassins will be responsible for doing everything possible to win over the civilian Martial Artists on King Island. Those you can’t win over, don’t kill them either, so as not to cause panic among the civilian Martial Artists and drive them to defect to the Official Family;”

”Third, after the wars on the various islands between the Martial Artists of all the countries on the globe are over, they will station their troops on ’Xiaoyao Island’ south of King Island; the hundreds of thousands of troops led by Lin Feng will station on ’Everlasting Life Island’ east of King Island; the prisoners’ descendants will station on ’Dragon Sky Island’ north of King Island; I hope Hell’s Gate and the Restorer Alliance can station their troops on ’Forest Island’ west of King Island...”

Hearing this, the Heavenly Sect Sect Leader interrupted:

”Then where will we Heavenly Sect station our troops?”

Ye Xiu said, ”The strength of Heaven’s Gate Assassins lies in infiltrating, assassination, clandestine kills, and intelligence gathering. You just stay hidden on King Island. I’ll send people to deliver you a batch of satellite phones so we can keep in touch easily.”

The Heavenly Sect Sect Leader nodded. ”That arrangement is excellent.”

Ye Xiu continued, ”With that, the four islands will encircle King Island, while Heavenly Sect infiltrates the inside of King Island. Once war breaks out, the four islands will attack King Island from four directions, preventing King Island’s forces from concentrating in one spot, and Heaven’s Gate Assassins will seize the chance to assassinate and silently kill King Island’s Martial Artists, creating chaos. Only then will our odds of victory be higher.”

This kind of deployment is the optimal strategic layout... Meng Yinwan, the Heavenly Sect Sect Leader, and the Hell’s Gate Sect Leader all thought.

The Hell’s Gate Sect Leader suggested, ”Why don’t you just give the order for Black Water Nation to blast King Island with missiles?”

Your late-stage brain damage is beyond saving; even my Medical Skills can’t fix it!

Ye Xiu cursed silently in his heart, but said aloud:

”If you blow King Island up with missiles so that nothing grows there for decades, what’s the damn point even if you manage to take King Island?”

The Hell’s Gate Sect Leader: ”...”

”Any other questions?” Ye Xiu asked.

”None,” Meng Yinwan said.

At this time the Heavenly Sect Sect Leader said, ”The Dragon Sparrow Sword is a Divine Weapon; only in the hands of a strong expert can it unleash its true Power. Ye Xiu isn’t worthy of owning it. Huang Quan, can you have Ye Xiu hand over the Dragon Sparrow Sword?”
