Medical and Martial God

”Master, how about I give him the wooden sword!”

Jiaojiao saw the middle-aged man threatening Ye Xiu and worried that Ye Xiu was in trouble, so he quickly offered.

Ye Xiu ignored the middle-aged man, gently stroked Jiaojiao’s head, and said:

”Jiaojiao, remember, never compromise with bad people. This is a world where the strong prey on the weak. Bad people won’t stop bullying you because you compromise; they will only get worse.”

Jiaojiao looked up at Ye Xiu, listening intently, and asked:

”Then if bad people bully Jiaojiao, what should Jiaojiao do?”

”Whoever bullies you, you bully them back ten times, a hundred times over,” Ye Xiu said.

”But Jiaojiao is small and can’t beat bad people,” Jiaojiao said, troubled.

”I’d rather die standing than live kneeling!”

Ye Xiu said with utmost seriousness:

”Even if you can’t beat them, you must fight. Dying on the path to charge is not shameful; dying out of cowardice, your master will be ashamed of you.”

Ye Xiu had no choice but to use this somewhat extreme and biased method to quickly help Jiaojiao overcome her inferiority complex and become strong.

Jiaojiao lowered her head and seriously pondered her master’s words.

”Oh, quite spirited, aren’t you?”

The middle-aged man said disdainfully.

A young beauty sneered and said, ”Even with spirit and dignity, you can never compare with us upper-class people!”

”Shut up!”

Jiaojiao suddenly turned around like an angry little lion, glaring at the middle-aged man and the young beauty, angrily saying:

”You, if you dare insult Jiaojiao and Master again, Jiaojiao will fight you to the end.”

As she spoke, she waved the wooden sword, her eyes unwavering.

Seeing this, Ye Xiu smiled. Courage and anger are good medicines for overcoming inferiority, and Jiaojiao has realized this.

”The little runt’s quite feisty.”

The middle-aged man said dismissively to a little boy:

”Son, hit her!”

”Okay, Dad!”

The little boy walked up to Jiaojiao, extended his hand, and said:

”Give me the wooden sword, or I’ll hit you.”

Jiaojiao gripped the hilt of the wooden sword tightly with both hands, firmly saying:

”No, if you dare hit Jiaojiao, you’re the bad guy, and Jiaojiao will fight back.”

The little boy was suddenly intimidated by Jiaojiao’s ferocity and recoiled.

Seeing this, the middle-aged man and the young beauty frowned.

The middle-aged man scolded, ”Son, didn’t you hear me tell you to hit her? If you don’t hit her, I’ll hit you.”

The little boy immediately mustered up his courage and reached for Jiaojiao’s face with both hands.

Seeing this, Ye Xiu didn’t intervene. He wanted to see how Jiaojiao would handle it, as Jiaojiao had to learn to face it for herself.

”Ahhh...”

Seeing the little boy reaching out to hit her, Jiaojiao closed her eyes and wildly swung the wooden sword with both hands, leaving marks on the little boy’s hands, arms, and face.

”Wow...”

The little boy, struck by the wooden sword, sat on the ground, crying loudly.

The middle-aged man and the young beauty were furious.

”You little brat, how dare you hit my son, I’ll damn well kill you.”

The middle-aged man, enraged, lifted his right foot to kick Jiaojiao’s small face.

Jiaojiao opened her eyes just in time to see this, but she wasn’t afraid at all, remembering that Master had just said if she died from cowardice, he would be ashamed of her.

So, she gritted her teeth and, gathering her courage, raised her sword and aimed it at the middle-aged man’s big foot.

Knowing she was outmatched, she still launched a fearless attack.

This scene made Ye Xiu feel extremely gratified. With a flick of his finger, he hit the middle-aged man’s left knee, making him kneel with his left leg, while his right leg reflexively hit the ground.

Thus, the middle-aged man was kneeling on one knee in front of Ye Xiu and Jiaojiao.

”Yo, why such a big bow, get up, get up, I don’t have a red envelope for you,” Ye Xiu mocked.

The young beauty scolded, ”I told you to lose weight, and you didn’t listen. Now you can’t even kick a child without knocking yourself down. Is there anything you can do?”

The middle-aged man, humiliated and furious, stood up and slapped at Jiaojiao’s face, his wrist caught by Ye Xiu.

The middle-aged man struggled a few times, only to find Ye Xiu’s hand was like a steel clamp, preventing him from breaking free.

He said coldly, ”Kid, let go, or I’ll make sure you and your family don’t see daylight tomorrow.”

The young beauty said, ”Bastard, you have no idea whose hand you’re holding, do you? He’s Yue Pengyun, a Yue Family member, and the head of logistics at Tiger City Yue Corporation. Just stomp his foot, and Tiger City will tremble. Mess with the Yue Family, and you’ll die miserable.”

”Yue Family?” Ye Xiu paused, asking, ”The family of Yue Jinchuan, Yue Yinchuan, and Yue Longxuan?”

Seeing Ye Xiu recognize the Yue Family, Yue Pengyun and the young beauty laughed.

”That’s right!”

Yue Pengyun straightened his chest, arrogantly saying:

”Kid, now that you’re scared, it’s too late. I want you to kneel and apologize, cut off the hand grabbing my wrist, and then let my son hit this little brat of a girl, or you and your whole family will die!”

Ye Xiu’s expression turned playful. He was just looking for someone influential at this banquet to establish his authority, making his future dealings in Tiger City easier, and Yue Pengyun delivered himself right to his doorstep.

Even someone like Yue Pengyun, a mere head of logistics at Yue Corporation, was qualified to attend tonight’s banquet.

So, the Yue Corporation’s top executive and other middle and high-ranking leaders would surely be present as well!

Hmm!

Let’s use them as a sacrificial lamb!

”Slap!”

Ye Xiu stood up and slapped Yue Pengyun, making him eat dirt, and contemptuously said:

”Don’t tell me you’re just a minor character from the Yue Family branch, even if you’re the head of the Yue Family, I wouldn’t give a damn.”

Since I’m going to target the top executive and middle-level leaders of Yue Corporation, I need to make a big scene.

”You, you dare hit me?”

Yue Pengyun stood up, clutching his face, looking at Ye Xiu incredulously.

”You, you dare hit a Yue Family member? Do you not want to live?”

The young beauty also looked utterly amazed!

Slap!

Slap!

Ye Xiu slapped both Yue Pengyun and the young beauty to the ground and coldly said:

”I just did, so what?”

Before Yue Pengyun and the young beauty, who were prostrate on the ground, could respond,

a voice of authority suddenly rang out:

”Dare to hit a Yue Family member, you must die!”

Ye Xiu, Jiaojiao, and Kristina looked toward the voice.

A throng of people flooded into the banquet hall.

Seeing this, the just-rise Yue Pengyun and young beauty were overjoyed.

”Dad, this bumpkin dared to hit me, quickly have him killed,” Yue Pengyun complained.

”Useless, you can’t even handle a bumpkin.”

The old man leading the group who walked in scolded as he approached Ye Xiu and said:

”I am Yue Xiuyong, the head of the Yue Family Tiger City branch and chairman of Yue Corporation. You hit a member of the Yue Family, you must die. Now I’ll give you the chance to commit suicide, otherwise, not only you will die, but your whole family will accompany you in death.”

Ye Xiu glanced at Yue Xiuyong, then looked at the crowd behind him, and asked:

”Are these all senior and middle-level executives of Yue Corporation?”

With these words, Kristina’s face suddenly changed. She suddenly realized that Ye Xiu was trying to escalate the matter and wipe out the Yue Family Tiger City branch.

Not understanding why Ye Xiu asked that, before Yue Xiuyong could respond, people not affiliated with the Yue Family in the crowd distanced themselves from the Yue Family members, exposing all the members to Ye Xiu.

Primarily, they were curious to know what Ye Xiu meant by asking this.

”These are all senior and middle-level executives of Yue Corporation. Why do you ask?” Yue Xiuyong asked.

”I’m afraid of killing the wrong people!” Ye Xiu shrugged.
