Billionaire: You're Telling Me You're the Crown Prince of Kyoto

170: Jiang Chuan was furious at the reckless remarks.Mu Qingcheng’s expression turned slightly unpleasant as she watched the Hosts change; she had a bad feeling.

”What’s wrong?”

Jiang Chuan, who didn’t understand the entertainment industry, noticed Mu Qingcheng’s change in expression and asked her with concern.

”It’s nothing.”

Mu Qingcheng quickly recovered her expression, smiling as she spoke to Jiang Chuan next to her.

”Mm.”

Seeing Mu Qingcheng’s expression return to normal, Jiang Chuan did not say anything more.

”We will now present the Best Actress award.”

”The winner of this award is the lead actress of ’A Trip to Taiwan,’ Lin Xue’er.”

The two Hosts looked at the winner’s name in their hands and announced the recipient without hesitation.

The moment the winner’s name was announced.

The expressions of the actors and directors in the audience became subtle.

They now understood why Chen Long and Zhang Yi had left immediately; it turned out someone had swapped the name for the Best Actress award.

”Hmm?”

Jiang Chuan knew that Mu Qingcheng was supposed to win the Best Actress award this time. He never expected the winner to be swapped. At this moment, Jiang Chuan also frowned slightly, his gaze involuntarily turning towards Mu Qingcheng beside her.

He saw that Mu Qingcheng merely frowned slightly, then sneered, making no other movement. He breathed a sigh of relief.

”We now invite Lin Xue’er to the stage to deliver her acceptance speech.”

The two Hosts also looked at Lin Xue’er with smiles.

Lin Xue’er was dressed glamorously today, always wearing a smile. Hearing the Host’s words, she lifted her head and strutted onto the awards stage like a peacock.

”To be able to win this award, I must thank the director and every member of the crew.”

”At the same time, I must also thank my country—Taiwan.”

”I hope that one day my country can achieve...”

... As Lin Xue’er’s voice trailed off, the expressions of everyone present, including the directors, changed drastically. They looked at Lin Xue’er on the stage in disbelief.

No one had expected this actress from Taiwan would dare to utter such treasonous words.

”A reckless fool.”

When Jiang Chuan heard Lin Xue’er’s words, his expression instantly turned icy, and his gaze toward her was utterly cold.

He hadn’t expected an actress to dare to say such a thing. Clearly, someone was backing her, or someone behind the scenes had given her this idea.

”Old Jiang...”

Mu Qingcheng also felt the chill emanating from Jiang Chuan’s body and looked at him.

”It’s fine.”

Jiang Chuan chuckled softly, then, under Mu Qingcheng’s watchful gaze, walked directly toward the awards stage, step by step.

”Sir, the awards ceremony is ongoing. You cannot come up here.”

”Get lost!”

”Since you dared to utter such outrageous words, let this awards ceremony end right now.”

Jiang Chuan heard the Host’s words, gave the person an icy look, and then walked toward Lin Xue’er step by step.

Lin Xue’er, who was holding the microphone in one hand and the Best Actress award in the other, watched Jiang Chuan approach her. She couldn’t help but frown, and feeling Jiang Chuan’s cold intent, she retreated continuously, her heart filled with fear.

Jiang Chuan watched Lin Xue’er fall down in fright, dropping the microphone onto the floor. He glanced at her coldly, then picked up the dropped microphone. His gaze swept coldly over all the artists and directors present.

”I don’t care what intentions you have. Since you were born Chinese and earn Chinese money, you must love this country.”

”Whoever dares to betray China, whoever dares to speak the same foolish words as this idiot, I will make sure you cannot survive in China, or even the entire world.”

Jiang Chuan held the microphone, his icy voice echoing into the ears of everyone in the venue.

As Jiang Chuan finished speaking, he immediately took out his phone and made a call, right in front of everyone.

”At the Golden Rooster Awards held in Taiwan today, an idiot said something that annoyed me. Use all connections to completely blacklist her.”

”Understood, President Jiang. Give me ten minutes.”

Liu Yong had never heard Jiang Chuan so angry before, and he replied solemnly.

Three minutes later, Lin Xue’er received a phone call.

”What? President Wang, why am I being blacklisted? Could it be...”

Lin Xue’er received the call from the CEO of her entertainment company and couldn’t believe it. Her gaze then turned to Jiang Chuan, instantly becoming venomous.

”Was it you...”

”Get out!”

Jiang Chuan watched Lin Xue’er charge at him with a ferocious look. Showing no mercy for the fairer sex, he immediately kicked her away.

”She’s really been blacklisted? That efficiency is too high! It’s only been three days.”

”What exactly is the identity of this Young Man? Is he a major figure from the capital?”

”Only a major figure from the capital could blacklist someone this quickly.”

Among the artists and directors sitting below were well-informed individuals who naturally learned the news of Lin Xue’er’s blacklisting immediately.

”This matter is not over. The organizing committee, get out here and explain yourselves! My patience is limited. If you cannot provide a satisfactory explanation, you will bear the consequences!”

Jiang Chuan merely glanced at Lin Xue’er, who lay there like a dead dog, then picked up the microphone again, his icy voice spreading throughout the venue.

The actors and directors in the audience heard Jiang Chuan’s words and were now in no hurry to leave; instead, they intended to watch the show unfold.

Regardless of whether the organizing committee knew about the words Lin Xue’er spoke.

This incident had offended all the actors and directors in the venue. After all, once the events here were exposed, they would immediately have to prove their love and loyalty to China, otherwise the Chinese people would surely drive them out.

The organizing committee quickly arrived and stated that they were unaware of the incident, claiming everything was Lin Xue’er’s spontaneous decision.

”I don’t care if you knew or not. Having such remarks made means your organizing committee must take responsibility, and the person behind her must also take responsibility.”

”I give you one hour to show your attitude and apologize, otherwise, I don’t mind blacklisting all the artists and directors in Taiwan.”

Jiang Chuan listened to the organizing committee’s words, looked at them with cold indifference, and uttered his ultimatum.

”Young Man, isn’t your tone a bit too arrogant?”

Director Li of the organizing committee frowned when he heard Jiang Chuan’s words and sneered.

Jiang Chuan listened to Director Li, merely staring at him coldly. It seemed the other party had no intention of admitting fault, so he immediately pulled out his phone again.

”Starting today, blacklist all artists and directors from Taiwan. Anyone who dares to associate with them is making an enemy of our Tianxia Group.”

”As for how long the ban lasts, that will be determined by the circumstances.”

Jiang Chuan spoke these icy words right in front of Director Li.

”Tianxia Group?!”

Director Li heard this and looked at Jiang Chuan in disbelief, never expecting the Young Man before him to be from Tianxia Group.
