Billionaire: You're Telling Me You're the Crown Prince of Kyoto

98: Visiting the Grand Elder, official cooperationJiang Wenli was clearly stunned when he heard Jiang Chuan’s words.

He wasn’t particularly familiar with Tianxia Group.

He knew it was the world’s number one group, involved in many industries.

The Research and Development Department was the most crucial part of the entire Tianxia Group; even internal personnel rarely knew the specifics of the Research and Development Department, and outsiders were even less clear.

Only the Grand Elder and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, where Qin Lingwei was, had the clearest understanding of the Research and Development Department.

Jiang Wenli looked at Jiang Chuan’s confident smile. He said nothing, but his gaze turned to Qin Lingwei, seeking confirmation.

Jiang Wenli knew that Qin Lingwei often visited the Tianxia Group’s Research and Development Department for exchanges. She was very familiar with the Tianxia Group’s Research and Development Department.

Qin Lingwei felt Jiang Wenli’s gaze.

Although she didn’t want to admit that China’s scientific researchers were inferior to the Tianxia Group’s Research and Development Department, the facts were undeniable.

The research capabilities of the Tianxia Group’s Research and Development Department were indeed not weaker than the U.S. National Academy of Sciences.

As for the benefits and treatment within, they truly surpassed any country or institution in the world!

The reason why China, or rather the Grand Elder, could allow Tianxia Group to have top scientific researchers was that Tianxia Group helped China solve many research-related problems, and at the same time, Tianxia Group’s research benefited China, without posing any threat or danger to China. This was the most important point.

”This...”

Jiang Wenli received confirmation and looked at Jiang Chuan in shock.

He hadn’t expected Jiang Chuan, so young, to create a miracle in the business world in just ten years, building the Tianxia Group.

Tianxia Group even encompassed the world’s top Experts.

At this moment, Jiang Chuan also possessed the technology for super aircraft carriers and Controlled Nuclear Fusion.

At this moment, Jiang Chuan became mysterious in Jiang Wenli’s eyes, unfathomable, and even a little terrifying!

Jiang Chuan also noticed the change in Jiang Wenli’s gaze. He chuckled and said, ”Dad, I will always be Chinese. I will always prioritize China’s interests. This is also why Tianxia Group has been able to take root in China and in the capital!”

”Every member of our Tianxia Group’s Research and Development Department loves this country, loves this land. Every one of them is willing to fight for China’s strength and China’s future.”

”Good.”

When Jiang Wenli heard Jiang Chuan’s words, all the emotions in his eyes turned into relief, and his gaze towards Jiang Chuan was filled with approval.

”Alright, you two father and son can find a private place to discuss other matters!”

”Right now, what we should be discussing is Controlled Nuclear Fusion and super aircraft carriers.”

Qin Lingwei watched the father and son’s interaction, then decisively interrupted, directly stating the current 重點.

”Right, right, right!”

Jiang Wenli also laughed and replied.

The three talked for a long time, with neither side backing down.

”Let the Grand Elder decide this matter.”

Qin Lingwei saw that the father and son were not yielding to each other. She had remained neutral and now smiled at them, saying.

”Alright.”

Jiang Wenli and Jiang Chuan exchanged glances and agreed simultaneously.

”I’ll make the call.”

Jiang Wenli immediately called the Grand Elder.

”Wenli, is something wrong this late?”

The Grand Elder answered the phone, asking in a gentle tone.

”Grand Elder, this matter is not suitable for discussion over the phone. Would it be convenient for us to come and see you in person?”

Jiang Wenli said this with a serious tone.

”Alright.”

The Grand Elder paused slightly upon hearing that Jiang Wenli and others intended to meet him at this hour, then smiled and agreed.

”Let’s go.”

Jiang Wenli said to Qin Lingwei and Jiang Chuan, and the three went directly to the Grand Elder’s residence.

”You must be Xiaochuan? I’ve heard your name many times, but this is the first time you and the old man are meeting.”

The Grand Elder was a very amiable man, looking like a kind neighborhood grandpa at the moment. When he saw Jiang Chuan and the other two arrive, he smiled and spoke directly to Jiang Chuan.

”Hello, Grand Elder.”

Jiang Chuan looked at the Grand Elder with respect in his eyes, feeling awe.

This elder before him had dedicated his life to the rise and strength of China; he deserved the respect of all Chinese people!

”Don’t be shy, even though this is our first meeting.”

”But over the years, Tianxia Group has helped our China a lot, and I still need to express my gratitude to you.”

The Grand Elder saw Jiang Chuan’s reserved manner and smiled, telling him to relax.

”Okay, Grand Elder.”

Jiang Chuan also smiled and agreed, his nervous emotions easing somewhat.

”Tell me, why did you three come to see me together?”

The Grand Elder looked at all three of them simultaneously and asked with a smile.

”Son, you speak.”

Jiang Wenli heard the Grand Elder’s words, looked at Jiang Chuan, and said with a smile.

Their parent-child relationship needed to be kept secret for now, but for the elder before them, there was naturally no need for secrecy!

”Wenli, what did you call him? Son!”

”Is Xiaochuan your long-lost son?”

The Grand Elder was also shocked by Jiang Wenli’s address, looking at Jiang Wenli with surprise in his eyes.

Jiang Wenli smiled and nodded, explaining the specific situation.

”Wenli, you’ve raised a good son.”

The Grand Elder hadn’t expected Jiang Chuan to be a grandson of the Jiang Family, and he said with emotion.

Jiang Wenli just smiled happily, without answering.

There wasn’t much more discussion on this matter, and Jiang Chuan also told the Grand Elder the purpose of their visit.

”Controlled Nuclear Fusion?”

”super aircraft carrier?”

”Tianxia Group has mastered them?”

The Grand Elder’s expression became serious upon learning the objective of the three, and his eyes also sharpened.

”Yes, we have mastered them. I want the Tianxia Group’s Research and Development Department to develop them!”

”All research and development costs will be fully funded by Tianxia Group. We will donate them to the country free of charge, and even the technology will be donated to the country free of charge!”

”It’s not that Tianxia Group is unwilling to hand over this technology to the country, but rather we are concerned that this research might be exposed. Once exposed, it would have a significant impact on the entire China!”

Jiang Chuan felt the Grand Elder’s sharp gaze on him. He didn’t flinch and earnestly stated his thoughts.

The Grand Elder’s expression also became serious when he heard Jiang Chuan’s words.

He understood Jiang Chuan’s concerns, but he also understood that these two technologies were too important. Entrusting them entirely to the Tianxia Group’s Research and Development Department, neither he nor Jiang Wenli would truly feel at ease.

”Xiaochuan, I have great trust in Tianxia Group.”

”Since you are willing to reveal these two technologies, it means you trust China, you trust the Official Authorities.”

”However, you also understand the importance of these two technologies. The country must be fully aware of them. If the technology were to be leaked, it would indeed be quite dangerous.”

”I understand your concerns, and these are also my concerns, so we can find a middle ground.”

”Tianxia Group’s Research and Development Department and China can research together. This way, we can both accelerate the research speed and avoid some problems.”

The Grand Elder finally stated his idea: the Official Authorities would need to send people to supervise the Research and Development Department, and no one in the Research and Development Department could leak information. The Research and Development Department’s goal would be to research and successfully create super aircraft carriers and Controlled Nuclear Fusion!

”Good!”

Jiang Chuan smiled and agreed. This was the best method!

It could ensure both research effectiveness and speed, as well as safety!
