Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Descending towards the island where the two Domain Lords fighting with each other were located, Xuan Hao could not help wondering what had caused them to start fighting.

The Sky Empire did not allow Domain Lords to kill each other because losing a Domain Lord would end up weakening the overall strength of the Sky Empire. Especially when it came to dealing with other empires that might try to attack them and take over part of their territory without Soul Ascension Realm Experts showing up.

Boom-boom-boom!

Be it a grudge or a precious artifact, Xuan Hao could feel the clear killing intent present in the attacks of the two Domain Lords, as he hid himself just above the place where they were fighting before starting to figure out what had caused these two Domain Lords to start fighting to the death.

”Lord Windfall, you old scoundrel, I’m going to kill you!” At the same time Xuan Hao descended towards the small island to figure out what had caused the two Domain Lords to start fighting each other to death, a loud voice echoed out across the small island, as one of the two Domain Lords launched a powerful attack filled with killing intent towards his opponent.

”Hmph! How is all this my fault!? You are just taking out your anger on me because I’m more handsome than you!” Not lacking behind the Domain Lord filled with killing intent, the Domain Lord that had been identified as someone called Lord Windfall, gathered his power together into a similarly powerful attack before charging forward to meet his opponent.

BOOOOOM-!

As the two clashed with each other at the centre of the small island, the impact of their fully powered attack was more than enough to sink part of the island, while also sending out a powerful shockwave that swept over the part of the island that had yet to sink into the water. Killing any cultivators and demonic beasts unfortunate enough to still be present on the small island.

The ships moving around on the lake not too far away from the small island were also affected by the shockwave, but due to the shockwave having weakened after travelling quite a distance from its origin, the cultivators present on these ships ended up surviving. At most one of the ships would roll over, causing everyone on board to get thrown into the water.

Lord Windfall... Where have I heard this name before... Lord Windfall...

Ignoring the fighting between the two Domain Lords for a moment, Xuan Hao went over the information that he had been given about the different Domain Lord Realm Experts present in the Sky Empire... And before long, Xuan Hao managed to recall some information about the Domain Lord called Lord Windfall.

Windfall was the name of a small noble house and if his information was not wrong, one of the two Domain Lords currently fighting, was the head of the Windfall Noble House.

The Windfall Noble House was not a well-known or large noble family. Instead, it could be considered a rather small noble family inside the Sky Empire... But even then, they were quite well connected and had managed to befriend a lot of the larger and more powerful noble families. Attacking them would inevitably end up offending these powerful noble families. Making Xuan Hao even more curious about the identity of the other Domain Lord.

”Damn you! Even if it’s the last thing I do, I’m going to kill you today!” Screaming loudly filled with killing intent before Xuan Hao had the chance to try and figure out who he was, the unidentified Domain Lord Realm Expert’s power suddenly started rapidly increasing. Allowing his strength to directly reach the Fourth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm. Far surpassing his original cultivation realm!

A forbidden technique that forcibly raises one’s cultivation base. Even if he makes it out of this alive, he will never have a chance at improving his cultivation in the future. Maybe his cultivation base will even start detreating to the degree that he won’t even be capable of dealing with someone in the Nascent Soul Realm...

Instantly understanding what the unidentified Domain Lord Realm Expert had done after his strength rose to the Fourth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm, Xuan Hao could not help showing a shocked expression on his face.

From the fact that the unidentified Domain Lord Realm Expert had decided to use a forbidden technique to forcibly raise his cultivation realm, it was obvious that he had come prepared to die together with Lord Windfall today!

”What in the world did that Lord Windfall do to anger this person to this degree? Did he kill his entire family or something...?” Quietly muttering this to himself as he turned towards Lord Windfall, Xuan Hao turned his attention towards Lord Windfall to see what he was going to do now that his opponent was going all out to kill him.

”Elder Green Wing, are you crazy!? I only slept with one of your sect’s elders one time and she was the one who came onto me first, there is no need for you to do something like this. Even if your Green Mountain Sect is among the major sects, my Windfall Family is in-laws with the Hollow Thunder Family!”

Realizing that his opponent was risking his life to use a forbidden technique to kill him, Lord Windfall could not help showing a panicked expression on his face, as he yelled loudly towards the other Domain Lord. Also known as Elder Green Wing. In a last-ditch effort to get the other party to stop what he was doing.

”Elder of my Green Mountain Sect- That was my wife!”

”Ah... That is... Eh... My bad...”

Following the words of Elder Green Wing, Lord Windfall froze on the spot as he could barely get any words out.

How in the world should he have known that the person he slept with happened to be the wife of Elder Green Wing. Especially with how she had been the one to approach him first!

Feeling like he had been wronged for now reason, Lord Windfall turned towards Elder Green Wing. Planning to explain the matter to him and get everything resolved without having to continue their pointless fight.

”Let’s first talk this over and-”

”DIE!”

Not waiting for Lord Windfall to finish his sentence, Elder Green Wing’s anger had reached its peak, as he charged towards Lord Windfall filled with killing intent.

Obvious to everyone watching, Elder Green Wing was not willing to continue talking any longer. Only wanting to kill the person who had slept with his wife and forced him to wear a green hat in front of not only the elders from his sect, but also the disciples...

”You old fool, you leave me no choice...!” Not willing to just get killed by Elder Green Wing without fighting back, Lord Windfall pulled out a small talisman from his interspatial ring before activating it. Instantly increasing his power to the same level as Elder Green Wing.

The main difference between the two methods being the fact that one was archived through a forbidden technique that burned through one’s source of life and future potential, while the other was using the power stored inside a talisman to increase one’s strength for a short moment.

Although both methods had clear side effects, the side effects brought on by using a talisman was far lower and wouldn’t affect one’s future achievements on the path of cultivation. Only weakening the user for a few months after the power in the talisman had been exhausted.

Swish-!

Not a second after Lord Windfall had used the talisman to forcibly raise his strength to the Fourth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm, Elder Green Wing arrived in front of him-

BOOOM-!

As the two clashed with each other, the terrifying power of two Fourth Stage Domain Lords constantly bombarded the small island below them.

Rumble~!

Unable to handle this terrifying power, the small island inevitably cracked apart before what remained was either swallowed up by the water rushing in from all sides or sent flying into the distance.

”We have to get out of here before- Ahhhh!”

”Nooo-! Spare me, I’m-”

The ships belonging to some curious Nascent Soul Realm Experts who had approached the site of the battle between the two Domain Lord Realm Experts for a chance to gain enlightenment and break through to the Domain Lord Realm themselves, were caught in the crossfire, as their unwilling scream echoed out across the lake. Scaring off any other Nascent Soul Realm Experts that had a similar plan in mind from getting any closer.

”...”

Watching all this happening while hiding himself with his domain, Xuan Hao had no idea what to say.

In a sense, this could be considered a good thing for the Star Shattering Sect. After all, if the noble families and major sects started fighting with each other, the Sky Empire would get even more chaotic. An added benefit would be that the other independent sects would also be able to stay safe from the major sects because of this...

Whoosh~

Having come to this conclusion, Xuan Hao quietly left. Leaving as quietly as he had appeared, without any of the two even noticing he had appeared in the first place.

Swish-!

However just before he left the area, he created a small sword that remained hovering in the air above. Directly targeted at Lord Windfall who had all his attention focused on dealing with the constant onslaught of a half crazed Elder Green Wing.

If Elder Green Wing could not kill Lord Windfall, the sword above was going to descend and kill him on the spot before dissipating. Putting all the blame of Lord Windfall’s death on Elder Green Wing, and by extension, the Green Mountain Sect. Making sure that the noble families and the major sects would end up starting to fight each other!

After all, there was no way Xuan Hao was just going to leave a chance to make the Star Shattering Sect and the independent sects of the Sky Empire safer up to chance...
