Realized Game: I Hoarded 10 Billion Defense Towers

Nearby, Shen Fei’s gaze fell upon a screen. Although Huang Yi had a great deal of information to discuss, especially since Shen Fei had just built over a hundred new Neutral Cities for Great Xia, he quickly began his introduction when he saw Shen Fei’s eyes fixated on the computer screen.

WHOOSH. As Huang Yi spoke, the player controlling the game character immediately started moving. On the screen, a naked character, unable to equip any gear, moved swiftly through a Game World that was half destroyed and half a paradise of chirping birds and fragrant flowers. The character then used a flight item and shot straight up into the sky, soon flying into a large hole that had opened in the game world’s sky. The screen flashed, and the controlled character appeared in another world.

The naked character looked completely out of place in this new Game World. Its original world was an Immortal-style one, but the world it was now connected to, high above the other, was a Western fantasy-style world with Warcraft and sorcery. Therefore, when the naked, Immortal-style game character entered, the whole scene looked incredibly strange. As the character entered this second, connected world, many NPCs and bosses in the Western fantasy Game World turned to stare at it with bizarre expressions.

”Only two?” Shen Fei frowned and asked directly as he watched the player’s actions. Previously, when he had counter-invaded a Game World to save his father, Zhao Li, Huang Yi, and the others who had been forced into a mandatory mission, he had experienced the connection of more than a dozen Game Worlds at once. The Game World before him now was only a link between two worlds, which was a bit of a disappointment. The more Game Worlds that were connected, the more likely it was that he could verify his theory. With only two connected, it wasn’t of much significance to him.

Hearing Shen Fei’s question, Huang Yi answered immediately, ”That’s right. For this character’s Game World, there are only two!”

”Have you found the server for this second Game World?” Shen Fei continued without turning his head.

The Tourism Management Office, which had branches all over the country, had already located the server for this character’s initial login world. Shen Fei wanted to know if the server for the connected Western fantasy Game World had also been found. If it had, then things would be easier to explain, as it would mean both servers were being controlled and powered by someone. However, if it hadn’t, things were much more complicated. The initial login server was right here, so it was perfectly logical that a character could log into it. But for a character to still be able to enter the other Game World through a connected passage, especially when its server was most likely damaged or missing, was clearly beyond conventional understanding.

Could it be like Bitcoin, where as long as one server exists, all the Game Worlds can be accessed? Or does it mean that once Game Worlds are connected, the servers they rely on are no longer important? Has the link between them transcended normal physical laws?

Hearing Huang Yi’s answer and seeing the situation with his own eyes, a series of speculations surfaced in Shen Fei’s mind. When he previously counter-invaded the Game World, he had learned that while abilities were being inherited from the various games, the games themselves were also connecting with each other. The NPCs and bosses inside were even ”Devouring” and ”killing” one another. His own Butler Heroic Sky Control had also ”run away from home” and left its original world, which made Shen Fei worried.

He had to undergo a new game ability inheritance soon, so he needed to confirm whether he could still inherit something if it was no longer in its original world. If not, his situation would become quite troublesome. The first phase of the game ability inheritance was already over. Excluding the unstructured ”Other” category, his Hero, city, and pet were all grouped together for the upcoming second phase.

To inherit his powerful assets as quickly as possible, he would definitely not choose the ”Other” category for his upcoming fifth game ability inheritance. However, he had to choose one from the three options—”Hero,” ”City,” and ”Pet”—and this gave him a bit of a headache. After all, his Hero, Sky Control, had run away from home, flying off in his Floating City with his giant turtle. A few hours ago, he had asked Number 0 to intervene a second time and repair the server for *Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms*, but Number 0 told him the wiring was too old and irreparable. This meant he could no longer log into his own main game to handle related matters. Now, inside a game that someone else could access, Shen Fei could investigate quickly, but he still hadn’t ascertained the specific situation.

Frowning, he spoke a few words with the player who had inherited a Divine Artifact and was currently controlling the naked game character, then turned his gaze to the second player. This time, Huang Yi had gathered four such players, all of whom had inherited Divine Artifacts, in the Divine Capital. Since the first one was a no-go, Shen Fei still had a chance with the second.
