Realized Game: I Hoarded 10 Billion Defense Towers

Aside from the items he had inherited from the Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms game, the number of other items he possessed was incredible. This included items dropped by people he’d killed back when he was ”special,” as well as the huge pile of rewards he’d obtained from the Great Chaos Secret Realm.

These items had all previously been marked as [Temporarily Unavailable]. Now, in an instant, all those markers had vanished. Shen Fei understood that his power had increased by thousands, even tens of thousands of times, in a single moment. He had never expected this kind of change!

WHOOSH—

Quickly, Shen Fei’s gaze swept over the [Array Plate] that could now be used instantly, capable of commanding a 500-unit radius. He also saw items he could now use instantly, like ”Hundredfold Amplification,” ”Disguise Technique,” ”Source of the Secret Realm,” ”Experience Bar Unlock Scroll,” and so on.

”Holy shit!!”

The text that suddenly refreshed sent a jolt of excitement through Shen Fei. He didn’t know what it was like for others, but this—the fact that the full Version 4.2 update had made the ”Temporarily Unavailable” status on all his items disappear—was an extremely, incredibly advantageous scenario for him.

He even suspected that aside from those who had received rewards in the Great Chaos Secret Realm, this new rule was practically tailor-made for him. He felt as if all the shackles binding him had been shattered in an instant.

Right now, he could instantly use the ”Experience Bar Unlock Scroll” to activate his ”Level and Experience” Attributes bar, gaining the ability to level up by killing monsters ahead of schedule. He could also immediately use the ”Hundredfold Amplification” ability to increase the power of a specific item or Defense Tower by a hundred times. He could even instantly use the now-available ”Neutral City Gate Building Stone” he’d gotten from the Great Chaos Secret Realm. With it, he could build a Teleportation Gate in a Neutral City, allowing for instant Long-range Teleportation to places like the Divine Capital.

Moreover, he could also immediately give the retired Li Yunlong a ”Personal Panel Activation Scroll.” Li Yunlong had toiled for Qing City but was still an ordinary person without game-like abilities; this scroll would let him activate his personal panel and become an Ability User.

With the restrictions on the vast number of items in his inventory lifted, Shen Fei was like an unbridled horse. His Combat Power and underlying strength skyrocketed by thousands, even tens of thousands of times. Before the Version 4.2 update was complete, the use of his various items had been restricted. Now, with Version 4.2 fully updated, the restrictions on his items were all lifted in an instant.

”God damn it! It’s really here!”

Though excited, Shen Fei didn’t rush to use his newly available items. After composing himself, he turned to look at a corner of the main hall in his villa. Then, something even more exciting happened. He saw it: the ethereal, bug-generating Black Spade A—its illusory card face had indeed solidified once again.

SWOOSH!

He reached out. Just as Shen Fei had expected, his palm touched the solidified Black Spade A, and a special card appeared in his hand.

”Holy shit!”

I still can’t get the original item? What the hell is this thing? How is it this powerful? Such a massive version update, and all it does is grant one more use? I still can’t inherit the actual item?

Looking at the single-use, but immensely powerful bug-creator in his hand—the Black Spade A—Shen Fei was utterly shocked.

”Bro!”

”Something’s happening to the Heaven-Reaching Tower!”

”Bro!”

”Help!”

Before Shen Fei could study the Black Spade A any further, Sun Yu suddenly cried out. Most of their Defense Towers were placed in the center of Qing City, right where the Heaven-Reaching Tower was. Now, with the full update of Version 4.2, that inherited Heaven-Reaching Tower was reacting as well.

”Let’s go! Let’s take a look!”

Hearing Sun Yu, Shen Fei glanced at the [Source of the Secret Realm] in his inventory, nodded to his family, and instantly ran out.

”Holy shit!”

But as soon as he and Sun Yu teleported to the Heaven-Reaching Tower’s location, Shen Fei was stunned again.

[DING!]

[Version 4.3 update detected as complete!]

[The associated rules for Version 4.3 are now beginning to formulate!]

[DING!]

[Conflict with the previous version has been resolved!]

[The Secret Realm corresponding to Version 4.4 is preparing to descend and be processed...]

[DING!]

[The full update of Versions 4.1 and 4.2 to their complete versions has caused a severe tremor!]

[The full reveal and optimization of Versions 4.3 and 4.4 have been postponed for ten hours!]

[In ten hours, the corresponding rules for Versions 4.3 and 4.4 will be processed...]

As Shen Fei stared, dumbfounded, another series of messages scrolled by.

Are you fucking sentient? You know that updating four versions at once would overwhelm people, so you knew to split it into two waves? Whoever the fuck said this system wasn’t intelligent, I’ll slap you to death!

Reading the meaning behind the text, Shen Fei felt like cursing. The full update of Versions 4.1 and 4.2 had once again caused a world-shaking change. He had been waiting for the fully updated Version 4.3 to show its might, and for the Version 4.4 Secret Realm to arrive so he could act with a clear purpose. He never thought it would just stop halfway! It wasn’t happening now; it would happen in ten hours! This left Shen Fei completely hanging.

However, he also understood that this pause was absolutely necessary. Versions 4.1 and 4.2 had dropped all their content updates in one go, and the players needed time to absorb and adapt. More importantly, in just over five hours, the full-scale monster tide would arrive, and that would require the players to devote a massive amount of their attention.
