Realized Game: I Hoarded 10 Billion Defense Towers

”Master~~”

”It’s been a while...”

「Nanshan Villa District, Villa 42」

A gentle voice drifted from the speakers in Shen Fei’s bedroom.

”Master, I’ve raised our Clan’s numbers to over four hundred eighty...”

Before Shen Fei could even ask through his microphone, Sky Control was already reporting her progress on the new task he’d assigned after they last connected, right before he entered the Great Chaos Secret Realm.

”Good!”

”Alright, let’s go have some fun~~”

The world had changed drastically, and most game servers were no longer accessible. At this point, nearly three weeks after the apocalypse began, Shen Fei was very happy to have successfully logged into *Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms* on his first try. He nodded at the ”tiny” figure of Sky Control on his screen, then controlled his little Tower Master avatar and entered the in-game world map with her.

Being able to continue playing the game and leveling up after the apocalypse was a great source of relaxation for Shen Fei. I’m really looking forward to seeing what amazing things inheriting Sky Control will bring me... After all, since their last connection, he had instructed her to keep grinding mobs and farming for loot in the game. As the strongest individual in *Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms* aside from Shen Fei himself, Sky Control’s secret farming operations were, of course, extremely thorough and effective.

.

”Oh, right!”

”I wanted to ask your advice. What do you suggest I choose for my next inheritance? Should I inherit you, or should I inherit the next set of Tower Master skills?” Shen Fei asked while the fully sentient Sky Control led him on a grinding run.

”Skills!”

”You should inherit the Tower Master skills next!” the now fully sentient Sky Control, aware of the entire situation, replied without a moment’s hesitation.

”Hm?”

”Why?”

Shen Fei was completely taken aback by how decisive her answer was. Just a moment ago, he had been carefully considering what to choose for his third inheritance of game abilities. After thinking it over, he had concluded that inheriting either the hero, Sky Control, or the Tower Master skills would be fine.

If I get Sky Control, she can help guard my base and handle many defensive tasks. Once inherited, a hero whose power isn’t much less than my own would be immensely useful. On the other hand, inheriting the Tower Master skills is also a very exciting prospect. Ten Thousand Linked Bonds, Enlarge and Reduce, Damage Sharing, Skill Cloning, Flying Skill, Healing Book, Attack Aura, Durability Aura, Range Aura... these are the skills I’ve already prepared. If I inherit them, setting aside the boosts to my Defense Towers’ Attack Power, Range, and Durability, the ’Ten Thousand Linked Bonds’ skill alone would multiply the effectiveness of the Bonds from my towers more than tenfold. In an instant, just that single skill could boost the overall power of my Defense Towers more than tenfold.

Therefore, after mulling it over, Shen Fei had concluded that inheriting either Sky Control or the skills would be acceptable. He just hadn’t expected that upon asking the sentient Sky Control, she would give him such a firm answer: inherit the Tower Master skills first.

”Why?” Shen Fei asked for her reasoning as he controlled her Defense Towers to attack enemies in the game.

In response to Shen Fei’s question, Sky Control answered quickly and without hesitation. In front of him, she held nothing back.

”For one, the later I am inherited, the more items I can farm within the game. Unless it’s absolutely necessary, I believe the later I am inherited, the more items I will have, and the more valuable they will be. The number of Clan members I can recruit will also increase...

”On the other hand, I also need to stay in the game to uncover more of its secrets. The situation inside the game is very complicated right now...”

Hearing her second reason, Shen Fei didn’t understand at first. ”Complicated? How is it complicated?” he asked curiously.

Sky Control answered at once, ”It’s mainly about the NPCs and Super Bosses, the ones that can’t be inherited directly and fall under the ’Other’ category!”

”NPCs and Super Bosses?” Shen Fei was taken aback by her answer. He had never really considered that aspect of things. In his memory, players didn’t actively try to inherit the game’s NPCs and Super Bosses until after they had finished inheriting the main abilities. Based on the available intel, even the ones who had been inherited mostly went directly into special zones that human players couldn’t yet access. His only personal experience with this was at the stadium in Country F, when he insta-killed the Super Boss Magnus. He hadn’t expected Sky Control to bring this topic up on her own.

”That’s right! NPCs and Super Bosses!”

”A Hero like me can be actively chosen for inheritance. But those NPCs and Super Bosses are just lumped into the ’Other’ inheritance category, along with things like in-game maps, dungeons, mountains, and rivers, and are chosen randomly to be inherited...

”So, even though both our sides have gained sentience, we’re naturally divided into two different camps...”

Chattering on, Sky Control unhesitatingly told Shen Fei everything she had seen and heard.

.

”Holy shit!?”

Shen Fei’s brow furrowed as he listened. In his past life, he hadn’t had many opportunities to interact with sentient game NPCs and Super Bosses. Listening to her now, Shen Fei was deeply puzzled. Especially since...
