Realized Game: I Hoarded 10 Billion Defense Towers

”Yu, prepare for action!”

Back in his bedroom, Shen Fei contacted Sun Yu.

Although it was public knowledge, thanks to the video from three days ago showing Taiyi Zhenren from the Divine Capital’s Tourism Management Office fending off the monster tide, everyone already knew that the Cyan God of Qing City was definitely not the 18th-ranked Sun Yu. After comparing Taiyi Zhenren’s difficult struggle against the monster tide with the ease with which Qing City’s Undead Calamity—boss included—was annihilated, everyone who saw the video knew the truth. The Cyan God could only be ”Skyrocketing,” the player who had spent two billion.

But no one who knew the details dared to point this out. Everyone just kept up the act. Because of this, Sun Yu continued to stay in his house, shrouded in mist, drawing all the attention. Although those in the know all knew it was a decoy, there was no guarantee some foolish thief wouldn’t show up. Therefore, even for tonight’s final inheritance, Sun Yu did not go to Shen Fei’s side.

At this moment, with Version 4.3 successfully inherited, Sun Yu was free to move.

”Really!?” Sun Yu, who had made his plans long ago, shot up excitedly when he heard Shen Fei’s words.

Time for action? He had been waiting for this moment for a long time.

”Yes, prepare for action! Go contact our people!” Shen Fei ordered directly. ”Get a list of everyone in the group who is willing to come over, including their families. Tally their locations too!”

”Okay!” Hearing the new orders, Sun Yu’s spirits soared. He logged into QQ and started typing.

WHOOSH.

With a single sentence from Sun Yu, the QQ group, which had been simmering with restless energy after being forced into silence by Shen Fei for a week, erupted once more. After Shen Fei posted, ”Everyone, listen to what Brother Kaipan has to say. He’s with me and has my full authority,” the QQ group exploded even more.

Brother Chongtian, who hadn’t said a word in a week, had finally spoken. The moment he did, he gave clear instructions and advice. The members of the Heaven-Reaching Gang, who could barely contain themselves, all went wild! They had been holding back for too long!

They had inherited powerful Defense Towers, but because of the inherent weakness of a Tower Master’s physical body and because they had no orders from Brother Chongtian, they had been holding back for far too long. They watched as players who inherited other abilities flexed all over the place, while they could only feign innocence. It was torture.

Now, Brother Chongtian had finally given a clear order. Everyone came alive. All sorts of excited messages, expectations, plans, and aspirations erupted in the ”Soaring High Fan Club” QQ group.

. . .

”Report, Brother Chongtian has spoken! He wants us to send our family information and addresses to Brother Kaipan. It seems like he’s going to gather us all together! Brother Kaipan said it’s all voluntary, not mandatory! A lot of people in the group are quickly sending their information!”

Following Shen Fei and Sun Yu’s messages, someone quietly leaked the information from the group. And those who had long been watching this particular group were quick to act. The chat group, within the game Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms, contained thirty to forty players from the top one hundred on the Combat Power rankings. Upon hearing the news, they quickly relayed the message and sprang into action.

. . .

I’ll start gathering people tomorrow! First, I’ll bring everyone to Qing City, then prepare to seize and defend a city! Having arranged for Sun Yu to handle the information gathering, Shen Fei thought to himself. All action would begin tomorrow during the day. Tomorrow, he would consolidate the team and select a target. Then, after inheriting the second project tomorrow night, it would be time for him to lead his people to fight for a Neutral City.

After bringing everyone over, I’ll also need to purify the team!

Looking at the group chat, at the sentence he had specifically instructed Sun Yu to send: ”This is purely voluntary. Anyone with ulterior motives is kindly asked to leave.” Shen Fei deployed one of his Defense Towers—the [Mind Control Defense Tower].

. . .

The reason he hadn’t arranged for the Heaven-Reaching Gang to come over sooner, besides the fact that the Neutral Cities hadn’t appeared yet and it would be pointless, was that Shen Fei knew the team was not entirely loyal. He already knew from a certain source that there was a problem in the group. Previously, he didn’t have the ability to purify the team.

Now, with the Mind Control Defense Tower inherited, he had that power completely. He had already tested it; the very special Mind Control Defense Tower could be used on humans. As long as he controlled a person, they would obediently answer whatever he asked. Moreover, the control could be released at any time and caused no other harm to the person.

This special [Mind Control Defense Tower] was the source of Shen Fei’s confidence in his ability to purify the team. He would use the Mind Control Tower to ask every member of the Heaven-Reaching Gang a single question: were they harboring ulterior motives? Of course, he would only ask that one question and nothing else.

. . .

SWOOSH.

Seeing the Heaven-Reaching Gang brimming with enthusiasm as all members cooperated with Sun Yu’s work, Shen Fei closed the Forum and logged back into the Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms game. That’s right, the Tower Defense of Ten Thousand Realms game was still online. Even after seven monster invasions, the servers were still running just fine.

However, this time when Shen Fei logged on, it wasn’t to run a dungeon with Sky Control. Instead, he opened his friends list and sent a message to a friend who was online.

”Brother Huang!”

The moment the message was sent, a reply came back: ”Yes, Brother Fei!”

The account name of the person who replied was: Taiyi Zhenren.

That’s right, Shen Fei had contacted the player ranked second on the Combat Power list, who was far away in the Divine Capital. The two were exchanging information. The news confirming that there were indeed disloyal people in the Heaven-Reaching Gang’s QQ group had come from Huang Yi.

Speaking of how the two got in touch, it was a coincidence. Four days ago, Shen Fei had logged on as usual to run a dungeon with Sky Control. He hadn’t expected that Taiyi Zhenren would actually send him a message through the game, asking for advice on how to fend off the monster tide.
