Taking the Mafia to the Magic World

Chapter 1152: Start of the Fight

Vicente was quick. Realizing that he was getting closer and closer to a point of no return, he summoned the device that Mylecent had given him earlier, already infusing his mana into the crystal.

Vicente broke out in a cold sweat in the milliseconds after Barraz’s invitation, secretly signaling to Kong that this was their moment to move.

Kong didn’t need to see Mylecent’s Elemental Crystal to know what was about to happen. When Vicente gave Barraz a sign of thanks, as if he had agreed to the Devil’s proposal, the white dragon knew he had to escape with all his might.

Everything Kong knew about Elemental Crystals was from literature, rumors, and legends. He himself had never witnessed the explosive power of one of these natural items. But rumors had it that even Transcendents would tremble in horror before one of these activated crystals!

Vicente said as the surrounding group had no idea what was about to happen. ”Since Senior Barraz insists, we will work as you suggested. But before that, please accept this gift from me as an apology.”

Vicente placed the crystal Mylecent had given him in one of Barraz’s hands. His movement was very quick and precise. Even after activating the crystal, he was able to place it in his opponent’s hands in the short fraction of a second he had before the device was fully activated.

The apocalyptic fluctuation of the artifact would take almost 4 seconds to appear, and its activation would only come in the 5th second after the energy catalyst.

The local ruler did not suspect Vicente’s attitude at first. Barraz accepted whatever it was with a smile on his face, while his men around him looked at him in good humor.

The strongest among them couldn’t help but imagine that this was another victory for them.

If Vicente was smart, he would follow Barraz’s orders from now on. Otherwise, he was already surrounded and wouldn’t escape alive, which would be just as well!

Barraz paused his attempt to probe Vicente for a moment and looked at his dominant hand with a curious smile. ’What...’

When Barraz opened his right hand and looked at Vicente’s gift, the auras of this boy and Kong exploded, before both of them disappeared from their positions.

Barraz’s men felt strange about this, with bad thoughts and feelings overshadowing their previous good feelings.

At the same time, the four-eyed Devil shuddered, unable to worry about Vicente and Kong’s disappearance while he himself had an extremely destructive Elemental Crystal in his hands.

’Shit!’ He could only curse in his mind as he urgently summoned his devilish powers, dropping the crystal in his hand and already conjuring protective magical barriers and shields around himself.

The undead in the surrounding area, apparently waiting to move into battle, disintegrated as if they were dust blown away by a strong gust of wind. At the same time, new creatures materialized where Barraz and his subordinates were, appearing between their master and the menacing crystal that was glowing ever brighter.

That was all Barraz could do at that moment before Mylecent’s device detonated with full force.

A silent explosion erupted around Barraz’s main palace. At first, a blinding light exploded in all directions, vaporizing everything within 10 meters. Then, a shock wave advanced forward, reaching anything less than 100 meters from the center of the explosion in an instant.

The structures of Barraz’s palace were hit with such force that structures that had existed for millions of years cracked, while countless undead and hellish guardians disappeared forever, burned to ashes or disintegrated by the powerful shockwave.

Meanwhile, Barraz transformed into his most powerful Devil form, exposing his 7-Star Transcendent aura while covering himself with defensive items.

His barriers and shields fell one after another, but the man was truly rich and full of tricks. When his subordinates had been wiped out by over 60%, he still had several levels of protection, using them until they lost their qualities and then replacing with new ones.

Ten seconds was the maximum destruction power of the crystal activated by Vicente, enough to raze Barraz’s territory and inflict a great loss on this Devil.

However, when the destruction began to weaken, Barraz was still standing, unharmed!

Vicente and Kong were already deep inside the enemy’s palace, in the area least affected by the Elemental Crystal, when they felt Barraz’s terrifying aura seeking them out like a fanatical hunter in pursuit of his prey.

”You wretches! You’ll pay for this, or I’m not Barraz!” The four-eyed Devil screamed in a high-pitched tone, his voice cutting through space and inflicting pain on everyone nearby who wasn’t a mid-level Transcendent.

Vicente and Kong almost fell to the ground from Barraz’s sonic attack; both bleeding from their ears as they moved in search of the Reincarnation Wheel of the Law of Darkness.

Barraz didn’t even look at the place where most of his defensive resources and troops had disappeared from Vicente’s attack, as he locked his eyes on the direction where the aura of this evildoer had gone.

Barraz was truly an unmatched hunter. In just 2 seconds, he found the positions of the two rats that had maliciously invaded his territory.

”You’ll wish for death when I catch you!” He moved forward, his murderous intent exploding in a way that caused the surrounding space itself to distort, forming hungry blood ghosts in search of their fatal victims.

”Not so fast, old devil!”

A giant white hand appeared in Barraz’s path, moving so fast that the surrounding space exploded, forcing a gravitational force contrary to the horned Devil’s movement.

But Barraz was not attacked from just one side. Before he could react, a second unexpected enemy appeared behind him. Looking back, the Devil saw a man he knew well materialize in that position.

That man opened his arms as black snakes rushed from him toward Barraz, seeking the five extremities of the four-eyed Devil.

Barraz almost spat blood at that moment, surrounded by two 6-Star Transcendents as his target approached the heart of his palace.

”Mylecent!” He shouted in a fit of rage when he saw the sly smile of the white-haired woman in his path.

Mylecent and Jelgos ignored Barraz’s furious glare, not hesitating to act together to block the enemy.
