We Agreed On Experiencing Life, So Why Did You Immortals Become Real?

Chapter 209: If the Gods Want to Kill Him, I Will Kill the Gods

Zhou Kingdomʼs Ministry of Rites Ministerʼs Residence.

A woman was trimming flowers and plants.

For Yan Ruxue, her daily life consisted of reading, embroidery, and tending to flowers and plants.

Although only twenty-two days remained until the womanʼs wedding day, she wasnʼt anxious at all.

For the woman, she had already waited several thousand years. What did waiting a little longer matter?

In this life, she would walk forward step by step properly, and wouldnʼt let any accidents happen again.

”Miss, Miss.”

Xiao Chun ran into the courtyard along with her voice.

”What is it that makes you so happy?” Yan Ruxue turned around, speaking gently.

”Miss.” Xiao Chunʼs eyes sparkled brightly, ”Just now someone came from the palace saying that seven days from now, Miss must enter the palace and go through the procedures with His Majesty. Madam sent me to tell Miss that you need to prepare well these days.”
”Mm.” Yan Ruxue nodded, ”Go tell Mother that I understand.”

”Yes, Miss.” Xiao Chun ran out like a rabbit.

Not long after Xiao Chun left, as Yan Ruxue was using a watering can to water the Qinglong flowers, a gentle breeze slowly blew past, caressing the womanʼs dark hair.

”Little Green, youʼre back so quickly?” Yan Ruxue turned around, smiling as she looked at her younger sister, ”How was it? Did you investigate clearly?”

”Sister, Iʼve already investigated clearly.”

”How is that Qin Kingdom empress?” Yan Ruxue poured a cup of tea and handed it to her younger sister.

Little Green took a sip, then slowly spoke, ”Sister, after I arrived at the Qin Kingdom palace, I stayed by that Qin Kingdom empress Qin Siyaoʼs side without leaving for a moment. She appeared very normal, her realm is only at Qi Refinement, she hasnʼt established a foundation.

However, her blood qi is vigorous, and she uses spear techniques with divine skill. In the mortal martial world, sheʼs already at the level of a grandmaster. This is truly not simple.

As for the Ancient-Knowing Sacred Body that Sister mentioned, I truly couldnʼt tell.

Unless she discovered my existence and deliberately concealed it but Sister also knows that unless one reaches Sisterʼs level of cultivation, itʼs impossible for anyone to discover me.”

”Mm.” Yan Ruxue smoothed her skirt and sat on the stone stool, her dress clinging to the womanʼs sinuous figure, ”And what about Qin Kingdomʼs designs on Zhou Kingdom? Do they have any intentions?”

”Because Ten Thousand Swords Sect is protecting Zhou Kingdom, Qin Kingdom currently plans to recuperate after annexing Yan Kingdom and temporarily not expand.” Little Green reported truthfully, ”These past days, Qin Siyao hasnʼt mentioned ʼBig Brother Xiaoʼ even once.”

”I understand.” The corners of Yan Ruxueʼs mouth curved up slightly, ”Let this matter rest for now. Little Green, you donʼt need to expend more energy on it. Comparatively, regarding the Desolate Lands, we should invest more manpower and find the Divine Tomb as soon as possible. Iʼll need your help watching over these matters.”

”Donʼt worry, Sister.”

Hearing her sister mention the Divine Tomb, Little Green responded earnestly but before long, Little Greenʼs brows furrowed, her expression appearing somewhat conflicted, as if she had something to say but didnʼt know whether she should speak.

”Sister...” Finally, Little Green still raised her head, ”Thereʼs something I can ask Sister about, right?”

”Little Green, whatever you want to ask, just ask directly. Weʼre sisters, are there still secrets between us?” Yan Ruxue smiled.

Little Greenʼs voice unconsciously lowered, ”Sister, was Big Brother Xiao able to reincarnate back then truly because a deity condensed Big Brother Xiaoʼs soul?

Do the legendary deities truly exist?

Why would they save Big Brother Xiao?

What exactly is their purpose?”

”Little Green, do you know how all things came to be when this chaotic world was first opened?” Yan Ruxue looked at her younger sister. Rather than directly answering her question, she first asked a question.

”Naturally I know this.”

Little Green answered.

”Legend has it that the world initially began in chaos. When chaos first opened, it gave birth to all things in the world and also gave birth to various deities. Each deity controlled certain laws of the world. Legend says they were the embodiment of the Great Dao.

The deities sat upon the clouds, high and lofty and all things in the world were merely their slaves. They could arbitrarily control the life and death of all things.”

”Thatʼs correct.”

Yan Ruxue poured her sister another cup of tea.

”But Little Green, in legend, those deities never would have imagined that the human race they originally looked down upon would soon learn to use fire, create and use various tools, and even develop written language. The human race began forming one dynasty after another, progressing at a speed far beyond their imagination.

Even one day, among the human race, a man appeared.

This man left no name behind, but he created the method of cultivation.

After that, more and more humans learned to cultivate. Animals also began absorbing the essence of the sun and moon, awakening their spiritual wisdom and it was at this time that some deities proposed erasing the human race and demon race, as their cultivation would threaten their own status but other deities felt they were ultimately inferior existences, and no matter how much they cultivated, there would still be limits.

So they continued as before, controlling the laws of the world, still taking pleasure in all things, arbitrarily instigating wars among the myriad races, controlling their life and death, treating the myriad races as slaves.

Until one day, the human race and demon race joined forces to resist, wanting to fight for freedom and no longer be controlled by the deities.

Hearing the ants were resisting, most deities dismissed it with disdain. One deity personally went to suppress them.

However, that man who created the cultivation method held a long sword and personally severed that deityʼs head.

Only then did they understand that the ants they had originally scorned could truly kill them.”

”Finally, they decided to erase the human race and demon race from this world. The great war between the myriad races and the deities thus erupted.”

Yan Ruxue looked at the firmament.

”In that great war, he led the human race and demon race through one dark moment after another. Finally, he cut down the gods from their lofty throne but he alone spared the life of one deity.

Although I donʼt know the reason but according to legend, that deityʼs authority was—Reincarnation.”

”That cultivator who led the myriad races, could it be...” Hearing her sisterʼs words, Little Greenʼs heart jumped in shock, faintly forming a speculation.

”Not clear.”

Yan Ruxue shook her head.

”Ancient times are too distant, and everything is merely legend. As for what truly happened, who can really know?

But if the legend is true, if he truly killed the gods but alone spared that deityʼs life.

Then this deity who controls reincarnation should hate Xiao Mo to death, right?”

Yan Ruxue raised her head, gazing directly at the firmament.

”Perhaps, saving him was to personally kill him.”

”Sister...” Little Green looked at her sister with worry, pulling at her sleeve.

”Donʼt worry.”

Yan Ruxue withdrew her gaze, smiling with her eyes.

”If the gods want to kill him, I will kill the gods.”
