We Agreed On Experiencing Life, So Why Did You Immortals Become Real?

Chapter 205: I Will Also Go Along

The Qin Kingdom Imperial Palace.

Because her sister said this Qin Kingdom emperor might be somewhat strange and asked her to come take a look, Little Green had been monitoring this Qin Kingdom emperor these past days, observing her every word and action.

Just as her sister had said, this Qin Kingdom ruler was indeed a woman but it must be said that this Qin Kingdom emperor was truly born extremely beautiful.

In Little Greenʼs view, her sister was the most beautiful woman in the world but seeing her today, this Qin Kingdom emperor was actually on par with her own sister.

However, unlike her sisterʼs gentle elegance, this Qin Kingdom empress carried a heroic spirit between her brows.

Besides this, this Qin Kingdom ruler named Qin Siyao possessed extremely brilliant political methods and acted decisively and swiftly.

Although she was young, her prestige in the court was extremely high. Many old court officials were terribly afraid in her presence.

However, this wasnʼt hard to understand.

After all, she often donned armor and went into battle, opening up considerable territory for Qin Kingdom.

That Qin Kingdom could have today was entirely due to her rule and prestige built on merit was the most solid.
However, her sister said the Qin King had embarked on the cultivation path and her realm wasnʼt low but Little Green felt that from her observations these past days, this Qin Kingdom empress was actually only at the seventh layer of Qi Refinement, just like most emperors in the world, fundamentally unable to establish a foundation.

As for her sister also saying her objective might be Zhou Kingdom, that seemed to be completely unfounded.

Currently, Qin Kingdom and Yan Kingdom indeed didnʼt have good relations, and Qin Kingdom was thinking of dealing with Yan Kingdom but Qin Kingdom had no designs on Zhou Kingdom. Little Green had heard them discuss in morning court that after annexing Yan Kingdom, they would first temporarily recuperate, then expand east and west.

Little Green speculated that perhaps because Zhou Kingdom had allied with Ten Thousand Swords Sect, they didnʼt dare act for the time being.

In these past days, Little Green also hadnʼt heard Qin Siyao mention the two characters ”Xiao Mo,” much less that she was targeting Big Brother Xiao.

”Sister must be overthinking it.”

After several days of surveillance, Little Green reached this conclusion.

Little Green felt there was no longer any need to continue monitoring this Qin Kingdom ruler and could go report back to her sister.

However, before finally leaving, Little Green planned to test this Qin Kingdom ruler one more time.

This morning, after Qin Siyao finished morning court and returned to the rear palace, she sat in the courtyard painting. On the scroll was an ink-wash landscape.

Little Green took out a pocket flying sword the length of an embroidery needle from her storage pouch.

”Go!”

With a light flick of her fingertip, the pocket flying sword stabbed toward Qin Siyaoʼs head.

Although the Qin Kingdom imperial palace had formation arrays protecting the sovereignʼs safety, with Little Greenʼs Immortal realm strength plus this half-immortal grade flying sword, assassinating such a monarch couldnʼt be simpler, and wouldnʼt even attract the attention of the palace formation arrays.

The pocket flying sword drew closer and closer to Qin Siyao.

Just as this pocket flying sword was about to pierce through Qin Siyaoʼs head, the flying sword suddenly suspended in mid-air, not advancing another inch and Qin Siyao still continued painting as if nothing had happened.

Little Green retrieved the flying sword, completely reassured.

Just now she had deliberately released some aura, even releasing some killing intent.

If the other party were a Foundation Building realm cultivator, she could sense her presence and the flying sword but the other party acted as if she knew nothing.

Little Green turned around and stepped away from the Qin Kingdom imperial palace.

However, not long after Little Green left, the Qin Kingdom ruler turned her head, looking toward the distance.

That was the direction Little Green had departed.

The corners of the Qin Kingdom rulerʼs mouth curved up slightly. Then she withdrew her gaze, as if she knew nothing, continuing to outline stroke after stroke on the scroll.

After the Qin Kingdom ruler finished painting the landscape, she carefully outlined a man beside a small stream in the painting.

A full hour passed before this painting was truly complete.

”Your Majesty...”

Just as Qin Siyao set down the ink brush, a personal lady official walked forward and bowed respectfully.

”Mm.” Qin Siyao nodded, ”What is it?”

”Reporting to Your Majesty, the Prime Minister and others have submitted several more memorials.” The lady official slowly spoke.

”For what matter?”

Qin Siyao carefully examined her own painting, the more she looked the more satisfied she became.

As Qin Siyaoʼs personal lady official, unless they were secret memorials, this woman named Hua Xiong could read them first, understand the memorials, then give them to Her Majesty.

”Itʼs regarding Your Majesty taking consorts.” Hua Xiong reported truthfully, ”The Prime Minister and others submitted memorials hoping Your Majesty will quickly take consorts. The rear palace cannot be without a master for a day, and Qin Kingdom cannot be without an empress for a day. Does Your Majesty wish to review them?”

”Hehehehe...” Qin Siyao chuckled lightly, ”No need. From now on, donʼt mention this type of memorial to me either.”

”Yes, Your Majesty.” Hua Xiong nodded.

”By the way, Hua Xiong, come look. How is my painting?” Qin Siyao beckoned to the lady official beside her.

”Then this servant will presume.”

Hua Xiong walked forward, looking at Her Majestyʼs scroll.

”Your Majesty excels at music, chess, calligraphy, and painting. Especially this ink painting technique, in this servantʼs view, only that Dean Shang of White Deer Academy could compete with Your Majesty.” Hua Xiong wasnʼt flattering but truly thought so.

”Hehehe, it looks good, doesnʼt it? He taught me.” The corners of Qin Siyaoʼs mouth curved up.

”He...”

Hua Xiong thought, again itʼs ”he.”

As a personal lady official, Hua Xiong knew her own majesty was a woman, knew Her Majesty knew many, many things, even knew Her Majesty could cultivate but she didnʼt know who that ”he” Her Majesty constantly mentioned actually was.

Hua Xiong looked at this scroll again and only then noticed that beside a small stream in the painting, there was a man wearing blue robes, his hands clasped behind his back as he looked at the stream.

”Is the man in this painting the ʼheʼ Your Majesty mentions?”

Unfortunately, she couldnʼt see his face.

”Hua Xiong.” Qin Siyao called out.

”Your Majesty.” Hua Xiong bowed her head.

”Regarding the matter of Zhou Kingdom, how goes the inquiry?” Qin Siyao asked.

Hua Xiongʼs eyes froze, looking around worriedly.

”Donʼt worry, that woman has left. Say whatever you have to say.” Qin Siyao waved her hand.

When Little Green had first entered the palace, Qin Siyao had transmitted her voice to Hua Xiong, telling her not to mention Zhou Kingdom or her own cultivation matters.

”Reporting to Your Majesty, Zhou Kingdom is holding a great joyous event.” Hua Xiong reported truthfully, ”Iʼve heard that the Zhou Kingdom ruler is taking a daughter of Zhou Kingdomʼs Yan clan as empress. The entire court is busy with this matter.”

”Oh? Getting married.” The corners of Qin Siyaoʼs mouth curved up as she gazed at the manʼs back in the painting, ”This is indeed a great joyous event. Previously, the late emperor had some dealings with Zhou Kingdom. I should also offer congratulations.”

”Your Majesty means?”

”Speak with Minister Yang of the Ministry of Rites. Have him prepare to go on an embassy to Zhou Kingdom with congratulatory gifts.”

Qin Siyao extended her hand, gently caressing the man in the painting.

”Additionally, I will also go along.”
