My attributes are increasing infinitely

Chapter 259: Maxim’s oath

Ethan’s eyes turned cold when he heard the news.

”I want you to go to that family, exterminate it and bring the person to me who has absorbed the Martial Spirit.”

Alexander didn’t say anything for a while.

”Yes, sir. As you wish.”

He kind of expected this outcome, but killing one of your comrade who had been beside you for thousands of years was not easy.

But could he defy the will of a god? The answer was no. He couldn’t. The Holmes family had to die.

Alexander came back to his room; Maxim was gone.

He looked at the other three Saints and said, ”I want you to come with me. The Holmes family needs to be exterminated. No question asked.”

After giving the order, he put on his battle armor. Maxim wouldn’t go down so easily. They would have to put up a fight.

The other three wore grim faces. But they didn’t ask any questions and followed behind Alexander.

They also brought along thirty Martial Emperors with them.

In ten minutes, they arrived at the city where the base of the Holmes family was located.

Alexander scanned the house, and as expected it was empty. There was not a single person left behind.

”Maxim sure is fast. My heart breaks to do this, but he has done a crime that has no mercy. Find them out. You have twenty-four hours,” Alexander ordered.

Meanwhile Ethan sent a clone after Alexander’s team.

His clone had the power of a Tier 16 or more. It didn’t interfere in the search. He had enough time in his hand; it was just watching how the search was going.

The Holmes family was disbanded. Each member of their family went in different directions using special face-changing masks.

They had a common location: it was Russia. They would gather in Russia.

They didn’t move together, because that would make them easy to find.

It was just about fifteen minutes’ gap between them. So they couldn’t get much farther considering there were children, non-martial artists and injured people among them.

It was a huge family after all, formed with thousands of years of heritage.

Alexander spread his divine sense and covered the entire city.

”Everyone stop moving,” like a divine order, the entire city heard his voice.

This was the city of the Holmes. They knew the ruler of this city was the Holmes family.

”Could it be Master Holmes?” the civilians thought. They were the people who belonged to the family houseworkers of the Holmes family.

The entire city stopped moving.

The same thing happened in the nearby thirty-three cities at the same time. The other three Martial Saints and the thirty Martial Emperors ordered in synchronization.

Thirty-four cities were stopped like time had frozen.

All the martial artists came down from the sky. The family members of the Holmes family were among these cities. Their hearts started to beat faster. Sweat came out. But they couldn’t move.

If they moved, they would be immediately caught by them and then they would be searched thoroughly. If they did that, the mask would be revealed and that would be the end for them.

The Moriarty family had escaped because they didn’t want to make a scene nineteen years ago, and that was the reason they didn’t slaughter the entire family.

A few days ago, only Martial Kings were dispatched from the Holmes family; that was the only reason some could leave with their submarine, and they had only a few members in their family.

But this time the scene was different. The Holmes family had thousands of people. Even the direct bloodline had around five hundred.

So leaving with all of them in submarines under the divine sense of those Martial Saints was impossible.

They had to move by road or by air.

But air was out of the question, too, because that would be too easy to figure out.

So by road was the only option, as there were millions of people in those cities. They could be easily blended with them with the help of the mask.

Alexander ordered headquarters to send every martial artist to their place.

They would have to check millions of people individually after all.

Meanwhile in Russia, Maxim was watching all this on a screen.

He had run with Sherlock and arrived here before them. He was still gambling.

”Alexander, you son of a bitch. If you kill any of my family members, I’ll destroy this world, mark my words.”

He was fuming with extreme anger.

Then he looked at the young man in a cross-legged position. He was in deep meditation.

Because the Martial Spirit was still not merged with him, this occurred because Ethan’s Martial Spirit was the ultimate tier, whereas his own Martial Spirit was only a legendary tier.

So both of them were rejecting each other. And Ethan was not dead; that was also a reason it was taking so long.

The Martial Spirit was sealed in his body but it remained in a concealed condition.

He tried many times before but couldn’t control it.

He was approaching the age of twenty; if he didn’t merge it before that, the Ultimate Martial Spirit would be gone.

So that was why they killed the real body of Ethan and also tried to exterminate the entire Moriarty bloodline.

But they had failed in that mission and now their entire family was on the verge of extermination.

Maxim was making an oath. If his family was gone, he would just destroy the world population.

It was not a big deal for a Martial Saint to kill all the people of the world.

All the martial artists of the Martial Association were searching for the Holmes family members and they had found some already. Some of them tried to kill others while being captured but were easily restrained. And some of them were just captured.

Maxim saw all this and was still praying that the main bloodline survived today.
