Chapter 241: The second round was over

Ethan was raiding worlds like a pirate. He opened a portal, went in, and threatened the rulers of that world to make the candidate surrender.

This trick always worked. They did not take any time to find out those candidates and made them surrender.

And each one of those candidates cursed the spirit. No one was an exception in this manner.

But now, when Ethan went in, there were 35 Tier 16 existences already standing there like they were expecting him.

As soon as the portal opened, they attacked it non-stop.

Instantly ten thousand soldiers from Ethan’s army died.

But then the Tier 16 beings among Ethan’s army took action and neutralized their attack.

But the question was how the heck did they know that they were coming to their world.

It was simple. The spirit of the trial realm told them that an extremely dangerous enemy was going to attack them, so they should be prepared as soon as they saw a portal opening. This was the reminder he gave to all the remaining worlds.

Otherwise, nothing made sense anymore.

Ethan’s eyes turned cold and he ordered his army to massacre their higher-ups.

Ethan used his healing skill to revive everyone who had just died.

He did not want a single man from his army to die.

Now Ethan understood something was wrong and he took a precaution in the next battles. He did not send the low-level soldiers first, but his shadow army to observe the situation.

Everywhere the situation was similar. They were all prepared and attacked the shadow soldiers the moment they entered through the portal.

This made things a little complicated. He did not want to kill people in this trial if he could. But the intervention of the spirit made everyone hostile to Ethan and Ethan had to take action.

Though he tried to negotiate with them, they were not ready to listen to anything.

So Ethan had to take action against them.

But this did not slow his conquest much.

He was still attacking the worlds where there were not more than 50 Tier 16, these worlds were marked as weak. Now he was going to attack the middle-level ones, where the number of Tier 16 was less than 100, more than 90.

This would be tough if every one of them attacked him now.

To end the battle earlier, he would have to conquer every world out there.

There were around 1000 middle-class worlds.

Before attacking he looked at his panel,

[Master: Ethan Hunt

Physique: 5.12 Trillion Cosmos

Spirit: 5.12 Trillion Cosmos

Talent: Infinite Comprehension]

He was close to reaching the 15 trillion mark, which was the level of the highest power of Tier 16.

Nexus had around 14 trillion Cosmos power.

Ethan had already planned out how to deal with these worlds.

He would not create portals anymore.

He would directly teleport them there and they would attack without giving the enemy any chance to retaliate.

And his mission went on like this. In ten days, he completed all the worlds including those higher worlds too.

He only had to suffer in 3 battles where those candidates were otherworldly.

They planned out everything and even manipulated the rulers to attack as they wanted.

There Ethan had to use the Chaos Ruler form to win the battle.

Now he was standing in the last world, where the defeated candidate was a woman and she gave him the most difficulty.

The woman looked at him and asked, ”May I know, from which reality do you belong?”

Ethan looked at the woman and asked, ”There are infinite realities, do you know each one of them?”

The girl was stunned and then smiled, ”But you should belong to a known reality. A supreme genius like you, your bloodline should be very powerful and belong to one of the 100 ancient bloodlines of the 3rd dimension.”

Ethan had never heard of this 100 ancient bloodline thing.

But he did not want to appear as someone who lacked proper knowledge.

So he said calmly, ”Is that so? But my identity is a secret. If fate allows, we may meet again. Bye.”

Then Ethan vanished. He finished the trial within a month.

He looked at his panel:

[Master: Ethan Hunt

Physique: 5.243 Ancient Cosmos

Spirit: 5.243 Ancient Cosmos

Talent: Infinite Comprehension]

(1 Ancient Cosmos = 1 Quadrillion Cosmos)

Ethan had reached a super powerful level, but he was still far away from the Tier 17 power range which was around 1500 Ancient Cosmos or a Chaos Verse.

He would soon reach that level.

Ethan appeared in the trial ground.

There 9 more were standing.

The moment Ethan appeared, fear showed on their faces, but the spirit which was floating in the air with its enormous body started gritting its teeth.

That boy had ruined the whole trial.

Though as a spirit, he should have been happy to find such an heir for his master.

But the master had said that the heir needed to be someone among the ten best candidates.

They would choose 10 cubes and the lucky one would be the heir.

But Ethan had destroyed all the worlds by himself and left the spirit to select the other nine from those who slightly performed better.

He could not figure out their actual ability.

So what if someone from those nine was selected? Then would he not be considered guilty for not choosing the best ones?

If Ethan was the lucky one, then that was okay. But if not?

So he was extremely angry toward Ethan.

Even if Ethan was chosen he would not call him young master for 10,000 years.

”But this bastard is damn strong. Where is he getting all this power from?”

The spirit admired Ethan very much, but he would not tell him that, lest his ego inflate and he start showing who was the boss.

”Okay, the 3rd round is the round of luck. You all will take a cube from here. The one whose cube turns green will be the heir of the master.”

Ethan looked at the spirit and said, ”All this shit, and you want us to gamble? Then why the fuck did you not do this shit from the beginning?”

He was extremely angry. This 3rd section was like a shit rule to him.

Seeing Ethan this angry, the spirit felt monstrous satisfaction inside.

”Bastard, if you do not want to play, get lost, heh,” it smirked at him.

Ethan looked at it and thought, ”After getting the inheritance, I will make you lick my toes every day, you weird green piece of shit.”

A silent battle was going on between Ethan and the spirit.

Ethan was so sure that he would gain the inheritance because he would be using the system’s help to choose.

As he was the sole winner of the second round, he would be given the first chance to choose.

”Okay little bastard, you may go ahead.”

Ethan did not even look at the spirit and stared at the 100 cubes in front of him.

He could only choose one and in one chance.

”Okay system, which one?”

[The 3rd one in the 5th row.]

Ethan smiled and confidently chose that one without a single bit of hesitation.
