Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

The sales staff and managers around were completely stunned:

”The script isn’t supposed to go like this!”

”Could it be that guy knows hypnotism?”

”I guess that might be it!”

With his face burning in pain, Sima Yifei yelled furiously at Li Jun, ”Li Jun, snap the hell out of it, the one I told you to hit is him! Make sure you see clearly!”

But Li Jun seriously said, ”Young Master Sima, I did it for your own good, you should apologize to him and then get out of here quickly.”

Pfft!

Sima Yifei almost spit blood. For my good? Dammit, after slapping me several times, you say it’s for my good and then ask me to apologize to that guy?

What on earth is going on with this world!

Sima Yifei glared at Li Jun and Lin Mo, shouting, ”You two bastards just wait, I’ll make sure both of you bastards pay today!”

Lin Mo glanced at him and said indifferently, ”Still got a foul mouth? Slap him until he learns to talk nicely!”

”Alright, Mr. Lin.” Li Jun nodded and walked towards Sima Yifei again, but this time, the other dozen or so cops also surrounded him with unpleasant expressions.

”What... what do you guys want to do?”

Sima Yifei was somewhat panicking and yelled, ”Li Jun, if you dare hit me again, you’re done for in Shanghai!”

”I’m hitting you!”

With Lin Mo backing him, Li Jun wasn’t afraid at all. As his voice fell, the dozen or so cops surged forward as well.

Soon, Sima Yifei was beaten to a pitiful state.

During the beating, Sima Yifei let out a piercing cry, ”Brother, I give up, I know I was wrong! I know I was wrong!”

”That’s enough!”

Lin Mo spoke faintly, and the cops along with Li Jun all stopped in unison, then stood respectfully beside Lin Mo, waiting for his instructions.

Seeing Sima Yifei beaten quite badly, Lin Mo frowned slightly and said indifferently, ”Get lost, don’t bother me again.”

”Yes, yes, yes.”

Sima Yifei quickly struggled to his feet and the next second, ran off faster than a rabbit.

But when he got to the door, about fifty or sixty meters from Lin Mo, he turned around and yelled loudly at Lin Mo, ”You bastard, just you wait!”

After dropping his fierce words, Sima Yifei ran off.

”Mr. Lin, should we catch him and beat him up some more?” Li Jun quickly asked.

”No need, you guys can leave too.”

Lin Mo dismissed the idea with a wave of his hand, not taking Sima Yifei’s words to heart at all.

Having said that, Lin Mo walked out of the door as if nothing had happened.

The people in the store, when they looked at Lin Mo again, had a completely changed expression.

They’ve never seen anyone who dared to hit Sima Yifei like this before!

The female sales associates were especially starry-eyed, such a domineering, wealthy man made their little hearts pound nonstop.

But they also knew their place, a man like Lin Mo was simply out of their league!

So, they could only watch Lin Mo leave.

After returning to the Yang Family, a Rolls-Royce soon stopped at the doorway. The driver, after getting Old Sir Yang’s permission, walked up to Lin Mo with utmost respect:

”Mr. Lin, our Old Sir invites you to join him. Please do us the honor, Mr. Lin.”

Lin Mo didn’t put on airs, he simply said, ”Let’s go.”

Seeing the Rolls-Royce outside, Lin Mo’s favorable impression of Sima Hong increased marginally. It was clear that Sima Hong respected him.

For someone like Sima Hong, flaunting wealth certainly wouldn’t be of interest. However, the fact that he sent a Rolls-Royce to pick him up was enough to show his level of regard.

Meanwhile, the Sima Family had laid out a lavish banquet, making the entire courtyard extremely grand.

Beside Sima Hong stood a young woman brimming with youthful vigor. Upon seeing this scene, she couldn’t help but slightly frown and said, ”Grandfather, I haven’t seen you arrange such a serious banquet in many years. Is some big shot coming over?”

Sima Hong smiled faintly and said, ”It’s not a big shot, but rather a teenage Martial Artist around seventeen or eighteen years old.”

”A teenage Martial Artist?” Upon hearing this, Sima Zining’s frown deepened: ”Grandfather, is a mere seventeen or eighteen-year-old teenager worth such a grand reception?”

”Not at all. That young man’s talent and strength are something Grandfather has rarely seen in his life.” Mentioning Lin Mo brought a smile to Sima Hong’s eyes.

”I don’t believe it. Here in Shanghai, there are countless Martial Arts Masters and geniuses like Lin Li. Aren’t you overestimating him?”

A bitter smile appeared on the aged face of Sima Hong. He could detect a hint of defiance in Sima Zining’s tone.

His granddaughter had practiced martial arts from a young age, which gave her a more competitive nature than other girls.

Taking a glance at Sima Zining, Sima Hong advised with earnest heaviness, ”Zi Ning, remember, once that young Martial Artist arrives, you must not offend him lightly. Otherwise, Grandfather will be angry!”

”Yes!”

Although Sima Zining harbored doubts, she generally heeded Sima Hong’s words.

Soon, the sound of a car parking was heard from outside. Sima Hong’s face showed a trace of joy: ”It seems Mr. Lin has arrived.”

Then, Sima Hong quickly walked towards the entrance.

Sima Zining followed behind Sima Hong, her lovely eyes deeply furrowed:

”What Martial Artist? Grandfather is actually going to personally welcome him. Isn’t this taking him a bit too seriously?”

”I really want to see if you have any real skills.”

”If you dare to be a fox pretending to be a tiger, Granny won’t let you off easily!”

When Sima Hong saw Lin Mo, he eagerly greeted him with a joyful expression and took Lin Mo’s hand: ”Mr. Lin, come in, please!”

”Alright.” Lin Mo smiled faintly and then walked toward the inside with the ease of a passing breeze.

Seeing this, Sima Zining huffed lightly: ”What young Martial Artist! He doesn’t even exhibit any energy fluctuations. Apart from being handsome, he’s utterly ordinary! Just watch how I’ll expose you, you detestable fraud!”

The more courteous Sima Hong was to Lin Mo, the less convinced Sima Zining became. She herself was a Martial Artist, and not without considerable talent.

Now, seeing her grandfather treat this seventeen or eighteen-year-old boy with far more consideration than her, Sima Zining became even more determined to challenge Lin Mo.

In her view, a boy like Lin Mo would probably be floored in a few moves!

Shortly after, Lin Mo followed Sima Hong into the courtyard. As they reached the banquet table, Sima Hong led Lin Mo straight to the seat of honor: ”Mr. Lin, please sit with this old man.”

”Then I shall accept humbly!”

Lin Mo respected Sima Hong quite a bit, considering the old man truly worthy of esteem, not least for being a National Guardian of high standing, but also for his extreme politeness towards himself.

Lin Mo reciprocated Sima Hong’s cordiality, but it only further inflamed Sima Zining’s anger, her fists clenching tight.

(The excitement continues tomorrow. I apologize for the fewer updates these past days. After the burst on the 7th, there will be four stable updates daily, and I won’t miss updates easily again.)
