Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

As they had just walked into the company lobby, suddenly seven or eight security guards abruptly blocked Lin Mo and Yang Weihai’s way.

”What are you doing?”

Yang Weihai looked at the seven or eight security guards, furrowed his brow, and spoke with a hint of anger in his voice.

”Apologies, Old Sir Yang, but Mr. Huang has ordered that you no longer have the right to enter the Yang Group,” the lead security captain said indifferently with his hands behind his back.

”That’s absolute nonsense!”

Yang Weihai spoke forcefully without anger, ”I founded the Yang Group. As the chairman, do I still need Huang Qiang’s permission to enter my own company?”

The security captain replied calmly, ”Old Sir Yang, if you had tried to enter the company half an hour earlier, we would definitely not have stopped you. However, you are no longer the chairman of the Yang Group.”

”What did you say?” Yang Weihai’s face instantly showed a mix of shock and anger. ”I have always treated you well, and this is how you treat me?”

A cold smile crept onto the security captain’s face, ”Old Sir Yang, you should know that a good bird picks the tree on which to perch.”

”You...”

Yang Weihai was furious, but Lin Mo patted his shoulder and then, looking at the security captain, said indifferently, ”Indeed, a good bird should choose its perch, because you are no different from a beast.”

”Asshole, dare you say that again?” The security captain glared at Lin Mo, showing a fierce intent.

”You’re useless. Not just once, even if I say it ten times, you and this bunch of trash can’t do anything to me.”

Then, Lin Mo’s deep, icy gaze turned towards the several people present. The security captain completely lost his temper and shouted, ”Attack! All of you, attack!”

Before he could finish speaking, Lin Mo had already reached him. The captain’s eyes suddenly filled with terror because his body involuntarily lifted off the ground and he started struggling to breathe.

”Asshole, let me go,” the security captain struggled and shouted angrily.

Lin Mo didn’t even glance at him and simply threw him out. His body crashed like a truck, wildly flying and smashing against the wall, breaking who knows how many ribs and coughing up mouthfuls of bright red blood.

Seeing this, the rest of them showed deep wariness in their eyes.

”Why aren’t you running?” Lin Mo spoke coldly. If it weren’t for his grandfather being there, he might have killed them without bothering to talk further.

The men felt a chill in his voice that made them shudder involuntarily, and scrambled towards the outside.

With no one left to block them, Lin Mo and Yang Weihai took the elevator directly to the president’s office on the ninth floor.

When they arrived at the president’s office, it was filled with shareholders of the Yang Group.

However, their expressions showed some disdain and even scorn when they saw Lin Mo and Yang Weihai.

A middle-aged man sitting in the main seat at the desk, who was puffing on a cigar, looked at Yang Weihai with a somewhat insincere smile and said,

”So, Old Sir Yang has arrived. Why not take a seat quickly?”

Yang Weihai, feeling angry, said, ”Huang Qiang, cut the crap, what are you really trying to do!”

”What do I mean?”

Huang Qiang gave a cold laugh and took a drag on his cigar, saying, ”Since you have come yourself, I will give you some face. In front of everyone here, relinquish your position as chairman.”

”You’re dreaming!” Yang Weihai enunciated each word, his voice filled with even greater rage. He hadn’t expected that Huang Qiang, whom he had supported step by step to the position of general manager, would turn out to be such a backstabber.

”Originally, Yang Weihai, if you had voluntarily stepped down, I could have given you a hefty sum for retirement. Since you’ve proven difficult, fine! I, Huang Qiang, won’t waste words with you anymore. Now, I will leave you with nothing.” Huang Qiang’s smile was cold.

”Are you saying, Huang Qiang, that if I don’t step down willingly, you can force me out of my chairman position?” Yang Weihai’s face already carried a chill.

”Of course!” Huang Qiang exhaled a puff of smoke and sneered, ”Haven’t you noticed that almost all the shareholders of Yang Group have come?”

Upon hearing this, Yang Weihai’s expression changed, sensing an extremely bad premonition.

It was known that if he didn’t step down voluntarily, then the only other option would be impeachment by unanimous consent of the other shareholders.

Previously, Yang Weihai never considered this possibility, as the idea of all shareholders impeaching him was almost unthinkable.

Now, Yang Weihai still didn’t want to believe that such a thing would happen!

But the next second.

”If everyone agrees with me, please stand up.”

Huang Qiang sat in the president’s chair, looking confident and composed as he spoke lightly.

Immediately.

The shareholders in the room looked at each other.

Then one...two...ten got up. Within a few breaths, not a single one remained seated.

”You…you all!” Yang Weihai’s heart turned cold.

Yang Weihai’s gaze turned towards the few people in the crowd he trusted the most.

But those few just lowered their heads as if they saw nothing.

Chilled to the bone! Yang Weihai’s body trembled violently, he truly hadn’t expected that the executives of Yang Group would unanimously side with Huang Qiang.

”See that, Old Sir Yang? Now everyone supports me. As the shareholder with the most stocks, I am informing you that after consulting with them, we have unanimously decided to remove you from your chairman position. From now on, I will take control of Yang Group!” Huang Qiang’s smile was triumphant as he spoke loudly.

”Huang Qiang, I really didn’t expect this. I trusted you so much, and yet you could do this to me...” Yang Weihai took a deep breath, his voice trembling.

Although Yang Weihai was furious, he was helpless. Huang Qiang held thirty-six percent of the shares. Together with the other shareholders, nearly all of the company’s initiative was in Huang Qiang’s hands, while Yang Weihai had less than twenty percent.

”Old Sir Yang, blame your own inflexibility and inability to adapt!”

”That’s right, if we didn’t impeach you unanimously, we probably wouldn’t get a penny later on.”

”Now Mr. Huang is offering double the price for our shares. Being able to sell at double the price now, we are making a huge profit.”

Hearing the shareholders’ comments, Mr. Huang’s smile grew even more triumphant, ”Old Sir Yang, haven’t you always refused to comply with the Gongsun Family? After the takeover, not only will I become the chairman, but I will also start extensive collaborations with the Gongsun Family.”

Yang Weihai’s face turned pale instantly.

”You think this way, you can control everything and hold a winning position?”

At the same moment, a fully indifferent voice rang out.

Everyone and Huang Qiang subconsciously looked towards Lin Mo.

As for Lin Mo, he stood there with his hands behind his back, his expression cold, exuding a regal air.
