Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

The next second, Hong Gang had no more hesitation and kneeled directly in front of Lin Mo, his tone full of reverence, ”Mr. Lin, my Hong Family is willing to follow you to the death!”

Lin Mo smiled slightly, ”Get up. Your family is the first in the Imperial City to bow down to me, so I, Lin Mo, grant your Hong Family the future position as one of the top five families in the Imperial City!”

Upon hearing this, Hong Gang trembled. Although the Hong Family was ranked eighth, to enter the top five was almost an impossible feat. However, Lin Mo’s words were like a reassuring cure-all for Hong Gang.

It could be said that the Hong Family’s status as one of the top five families in the Imperial City was now thoroughly secured.

Later, Hong Gang received a phone call. He stood up, his tone respectful, ”Mr. Lin, there is a matter at home that requires my attention, I hope you understand.”

”It doesn’t matter,” Lin Mo waved his hand.

Hong Gang immediately bowed deeply at a 90-degree angle, ”Then, Mr. Lin, I will take my leave first.”

After getting Lin Mo’s permission, Hong Gang turned and left the private room like a servant.

”Boss, you’re too awesome!”

”Boss, we three will also follow you loyally, even unto death!”

Wu Yifan and his two companions also fervently saluted Lin Mo.

”Okay, let’s eat.”

Lin Mo glanced at the three lightly and spoke softly.

The three immediately nodded their heads, their appetites whetted by the dishes on the table.

They knew that each dish cost at least ten thousand yuan, and now they were all benefiting from Lin Mo’s influence.

Having Lin Mo as their boss was the greatest highlight of their lives.

After the meal, Lin Mo and his companions left the hotel and had just walked out when several youths approached them.

The leader of the youths, with a cigarette in his mouth, spoke arrogantly, ”Kid, you’re Lin Mo, right? Come with us!”

Wu Yifan glared at the youth, filled with anger, ”You think our boss will go with you just because you say so, who the hell do you think you are?”

As they spoke, Wu Yifan and his companions were about to take action, but the youth sneered, ”Looking for death, huh? I’m here for your boss, do whatever you have to do, or I’ll take care of all of you!”

Wu Yifan and his friends were furious, but Lin Mo stopped them and looked at the youth indifferently, ”I’ll go with you.”

”Boss?”

Lin Mo turned to Wu Yifan and his companions, ”You guys go back first, I have some matters to resolve.”

Wu Yifan and his companions nodded; they knew Lin Mo’s capabilities well. These youths looking for trouble with Lin Mo were simply courting death.

Then, Lin Mo looked at the youth with the cigarette like he was looking at an ant, ”Let’s go.”

The leading youth immediately scoffed, ”Kid, at least you’re sensible.”

Lin Mo smiled faintly, not saying a word, and followed the group into a dark alley.

Later, they surrounded Lin Mo, but he calmly lit a cigarette and said calmly, ”Give you three seconds to tell me who sent you.”

Hearing this, the youths were stunned. It was Lin Mo who was in danger, yet somehow, they felt like they were the ones being cornered.

The leader of the group glanced at Lin Mo and scoffed disdainfully, ”Kid, you’re quite arrogant aren’t you, I’m also giving you three seconds to get on your knees for me...”

Bang!

However, before he could finish his sentence, he was blasted away like a rocket had hit him. He slammed into the wall on his right, which nearly collapsed from the impact, and blood spurted out like a fountain. The young man’s pupils dilated in extreme terror, dead beyond any doubt.

Seeing this, the rest of the group was already terrified and immediately thought of running away.

But before they could take two steps, Lin Mo’s voice, chilling like the Angel of Death, clearly echoed in their ears, ”If you think you can escape, I’ll give you one minute to try.”

Instantly, their feet felt as if they were weighed down with lead; they didn’t dare to take another step.

Then, one by one, they fell to their knees in front of Lin Mo, their voices trembling with fear, ”Please, spare us, sir... please spare us, we were just hired by someone.”

Lin Mo blew a ring of smoke and said indifferently, ”Who sent you?”

”It was Shi Peng! It was Shi Peng!”

The youths, terrified out of their wits, didn’t dare to withhold anything and hastily continued, ”We were just getting paid to do a job, it wasn’t our intention, please have mercy on us.”

Lin Mo glanced at them, disinterested in even lifting a finger, ”Get lost!”

The next second, Lin Mo’s figure vanished from the spot.

...

Meanwhile, at a lakeside in Imperial City, inside a luxurious Mercedes.

A glamorous woman with a trace of white froth at the corner of her mouth wiped her mouth clean with a tissue and smiled seductively at Shi Peng, ”Young Master Shi, was it good?”

”Not really,” Shi Peng was not fully satisfied, slightly displeased, ”Your beauty is not bad, but it’s still far from the goddess in my heart!”

Hearing this, the glamorous woman was somewhat annoyed, ”Young Master Shi, what kind of woman could possibly captivate you so much?”

”I told you, you can’t compare to her! Don’t ask anymore, damn it, it makes me angry just talking about it. Some damned kid taught me a lesson yesterday morning and even smashed several of my teeth!”

”Really? Are you not planning on getting back at him?” the glamorous woman asked.

”Hmph!”

Shi Peng snorted coldly and said with a chilling tone, ”Do you think with my temper that I wouldn’t reclaim my reputation? I’ve already ordered someone to take care of that kid. Probably, he won’t even survive tonight!”

”Young Master Shi is so powerful, why don’t I serve Young Master Shi’s little brother again?” the glamorous woman hinted with a lascivious smile.

Shi Peng nodded, a gleam of desire in his eyes, but just then, the woman suddenly screamed, ”Young Master Shi, look, what is that?”

Shi Peng hurriedly looked in the direction she pointed and saw a figure appearing over the center of the lake, walking on air, splashing water several meters high.

As the figure approached, Shi Peng’s entire body went cold, his groin drenched as if a spoonful of water had been poured over it—he had been scared to pee.

Smelling the stench of urine, the glamorous woman also felt a premonition of doom, ”Young Master Shi, who... who is he?”

”He is whom I hired to take care of that kid!” Shi Peng’s eyes were filled with immense fear.

”What... what?” The glamorous woman shivered, her pants wet as well, scared out of her wits.

Walking on air? Was that even human?
