Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

The next day, the two of them explored Paris thoroughly.

The Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Seine River, Sacré-Cœur.

Xia Mengdie swore that this was the happiest day of her life.

As they strolled through the streets, they stumbled upon a massive painting exhibition.

When Xia Mengdie saw the painter on the stage, her face lit up with surprise,

”It’s George Blanco, the most famous painter in the world, famous not only in France but globally.”

”Do you like his paintings?” Lin Mo asked with a smile.

”Yes.”

Xia Mengdie nodded, but then she bitterly smiled, ”However, they say a single painting of his can cost millions, affordable only to the very wealthy.”

”If you like George Blanco’s paintings that much, let him personally paint a couple’s portrait for us.”

”What?”

Before Xia Mengdie could react, Lin Mo had grabbed her hand and leaped over the crowd, and in the blink of an eye, they were in front of the intensely focused George Blanco.

Then, under the watchful eyes of everyone, Lin Mo casually smiled at George Blanco,

”Blanco, my girlfriend loves your paintings. Could you paint a couple’s portrait for us?”

When he said this!

Whoosh!

The crowd of French people burst into a commotion, their eyes filled with anger.

Who did this sudden Huaxia person think he was to ask Blanco to paint a portrait for him and his girlfriend?

Among the audience were notable dignitaries; even French nobles couldn’t commission Blanco for a portrait. What right did this unexpected Huaxia lad have?

They saw him as completely arrogant, almost disgustingly so.

However, when George Blanco looked up and saw Lin Mo, his slightly aging face trembled.

The next second, under the shocked gaze of everyone, George Blanco knelt before Lin Mo, crying tears of joy:

”Mr. Lin, my God, I never imagined I’d meet you here...”

Everyone was stunned. George Blanco, the world’s most famous painter, knew Lin Mo, and it seemed Lin Mo held a special place in his heart.

Lin Mo nodded, chuckled lightly, and said,

”Blanco, get up. I’m not here for anything other than to have you paint a couple’s portrait for me and my girlfriend, is that okay?”

”Yes!! Of course!! Serving Mr. Lin is the greatest honor of my life!”

George Blanco was thrilled, and without any delay, he picked up his brush. With unprecedented seriousness and focus on his face, he began to paint the portrait of Lin Mo and Xia Mengdie.

When the portrait was revealed, everyone was filled with envy!

The portrait was lifelike, capturing every minute detail of their appearances. Xia Mengdie’s portrait was enchantingly beautiful, while Lin Mo’s exuded an exceptional aura.

”Mo, thank you.”

Xia Mengdie was overwhelmed with joy. She thought getting a painting by Blanco was a luxury beyond reach, but she had not expected Lin Mo could actually commission a unique couple’s portrait from him.

”As long as you like it, let alone one painting, I would conquer the entire universe for you.”

Lin Mo tenderly rubbed Xia Mengdie’s head, his eyes brimming with love that seemed to melt everything.

The noblewomen and celebrities below had long been crying tears of envy, wishing they could receive such devotion from a man in their lifetime.

Lin Mo, like a magician, put away the couple’s portrait and, taking Xia Mengdie’s hand, began to walk away from the crowd.

The merchants were just as envious. That couple’s portrait, painted by Blanco in the most serious manner of his career, could fetch billions if auctioned!

Just as they were about to continue exploring other parts of Paris, a young foreign man dressed in a designer leather jacket suddenly appeared in front of Xia Mengdie.

He then bowed politely, with a radiant smile, saying,

”Excuse me, beautiful lady, for interrupting you.”

Xia Mengdie slightly furrowed her brow and responded in a cool tone, ”What is it?”

”My name is Andrew. Forgive my bluntness, but the gentleman beside you is not worthy of you. My father is the chairman of Zarath Film, and we have several branches in Huaxia. If you could be my girlfriend, I guarantee your future as a star actress, and furthermore...”

”I am not interested! Move aside, do not disturb me and my boyfriend while we shop!” Xia Mengdie’s voice turned cold.

Rejected by Xia Mengdie, Andrew’s gaze fell on Lin Mo,

”Kid, I’ll give you one hundred thousand to leave your girlfriend.”

Andrew was arrogant, viewing Huaxia people as nothing more than lowly worms.

”Get lost! Or I will kill you!” Lin Mo’s eyes were icy, already filled with murderous intent.

”Huaxia pig, you are asking for death!”

Andrew snorted coldly and waved his hand, immediately calling over two burly bodyguards with dangerous looks in their eyes.

”Huaxia boy, don’t say I didn’t warn you. This is France, and this is Paris. You Huaxia people are nothing here. If you leave her now, you’ll get one hundred thousand dollars; otherwise, I’ll have you beaten half to death and take your girlfriend away while you can only suffer in silence.”

Bang!

As soon as he finished speaking, Lin Mo kicked him in the abdomen with a cold gaze.

Andrew was sent flying, continuously spitting out blood, rapidly losing his vitality. Though not instantly dead, he felt as if ants were eating away at his internal organs, his body in excruciating pain as if tormented in purgatory.

”Damn it, how dare you hurt our young master Andrew!” The two bodyguards reacted immediately and charged at Lin Mo.

Lin Mo snorted coldly, vanished in a flash, and reappeared holding the men’s arms, then twisted them swiftly, breaking them directly with blood spraying.

The two bodyguards, in agony, had never expected a Huaxia youth of seventeen or eighteen to possess such incredible martial power.

Just then, three or four police officers ran over and, seeing Andrew and the others on the ground, immediately stared at Lin Mo with icy eyes,

”Kid, did you do this?”

Lin Mo glanced at them indifferently and responded coldly, ”I did, but it was self-defense.”

”Hmph! Kid, I don’t care whether it was self-defense or not, but it’s wrong to injure someone, especially since you are a Huaxia person!” the leading officer said angrily.

”Are you discriminating against Huaxia people?” Lin Mo’s expression was indifferent.

”So what if I am? You Huaxia people in our France need to know your place! Considering how backward your status is compared to us, since you’ve hurt someone, you’ll have to come with us.”

Lin Mo’s expression cooled, ”And what if I refuse?”

”You’re asking for death!” one of the officers, picking up a baton, swung it hard at Lin Mo.

”Be careful!” Seeing this, Xia Mengdie immediately shouted in concern.

Unfazed, Lin Mo grabbed the baton and twisted it into a mess, then kicked the officer, sending him flying eight or nine meters away, smashing a nearby trash can.

”Damn it, how dare you attack the police, you’re seeking death!”

The lead officer roared furiously, drew his gun, and the others quickly followed suit by pulling out their guns.
