Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 1312: Chapter 1311: Extensive Burns Over the Whole Body

After transferring the money, Maxwell Peary made a phone call to investigate the situation.

”Uncle, how is it?”

Seeing Maxwell Peary hang up the phone, Nia Mitchell immediately spoke to ask.

”The specific cause of the fire is still under investigation. It seems this fire left five people seriously injured, and more than twenty slightly injured.”

Regrettably, it seems Molly Harguez is among the seriously injured.

”My father must have been terrified; otherwise, he wouldn’t have rushed to call me.”

Since the fire occurred in the factory, the medical expenses should be handled by the factory’s responsible parties, but for now, the family needs to advance the money for treatment.

”Don’t worry about it; the incident has already happened.”

Maxwell Peary gently patted her little head, looking at her with great reluctance.

”I know.”

......

The next day ——

Nia Mitchell took an early morning flight back with Maxwell Peary, and soon they arrived at the hospital.

Inside the hospital, it was a vast sea of white and eerily quiet, with only a few patients’ relatives occasionally passing through the corridors.

Nia Mitchell and Maxwell Peary were known here due to a previous visit by Aldy Mitchell, so the dean recognized them.

They were directly placed in a VIP ward, set up like a small home, fully equipped.

Aldy Mitchell lay asleep on the sofa beside them, while Mr. Mitchell sat at Molly Harguez’s bedside, holding her hand.

The only sound in the ward was the cold beeping of medical instruments.

Nia Mitchell gently pushed open the ward door, and the lightly sleeping Aldy Mitchell opened his eyes.

”Sis, you’re here.”

Not expecting Nia Mitchell to arrive so early, Aldy immediately got up and sat properly.

Mr. Mitchell, hearing Aldy’s voice, lifted his head, his eyes red and swollen, just looking at Nia Mitchell.

Nia Mitchell’s gaze was fixated on Molly Harguez on the hospital bed.

Her long hair had been cut short, and her face and body were covered with bandages, looking daunting, making it seem as if she was severely injured.

”Has she not woken up yet?”

Mr. Mitchell nodded.

”She was only wheeled out of the emergency room in the early hours and hasn’t woken since, remaining in a state of slumber.”

Looking at Molly Harguez’s closed eyes, Mr. Mitchell’s eyes grew moist.

”The doctor said most of her skin was burned and she still requires skin graft surgery. I don’t understand this at all, and neither does young Aldy; he’s just a high school student. I had to call you back.”

In the Mitchell family, only Nia could be relied upon.

After all, she’s a university graduate and has entered society, no longer young and expected to be mature, assertive, and responsible.

Such a serious matter requires everyone to sit down and deliberate before coming to a decision.

Moreover, Nia Mitchell is now married to someone quite remarkable.

Young Master Peary is learned and well-traveled, likely having some understanding of the situation, also preventing them from heading down the wrong path.

”Given that it has been so long since the incident, has the factory said anything?”

Nia Mitchell looked at Mr. Mitchell and asked.

”No, the factory hasn’t made a single call, and no one has come to visit.”

Nia Mitchell nodded, then looked at Maxwell Peary who was standing beside her.

”It’s not even eight o’clock yet; let’s wait for the attending doctor to make rounds before clarifying the situation. You both can go and have some breakfast first.”

He and Nia had eaten breakfast before arriving.

The two of them had been constantly guarding Molly Harguez, surely without breakfast.

”We’re not hungry,”

Mr. Mitchell sat down again, having experienced such a major event, leaving them unable to eat.
