Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 492: Chapter 491: Blue Lotus Holy Fire

After hearing Ye Haochuan’s explanation, Su Zehao finally grasped his idea and became excited, ”Well said.”

Having spoken, he again expressed admiration, ”Lucky for us you’re quick-witted enough to make use of these Underground Demons, otherwise, we’d probably have trouble shaking off the Disciples of Hellfire’s pursuit.”

”Heh heh, now you know how awesome the special potion I concocted is, right?” Ye Haochuan said proudly, and with a grand wave of his arm, ”Let’s go, let’s catch up! We’ll observe quietly for now, and after these disciples of Hellfire are taken care of, we’ll pick the peaches.”

The two blended into the groups of Underground Demons, who simply considered them one of their own and didn’t attack.

In fact, these demons having lived in the dark underground for years on end, had long since lost the ability to see. The only way they could discern things was through their ears and noses. Their ears allowed them to hear sounds and identify directions, while their noses could smell and distinguish friend from foe.

On the other hand, Chiyo’s Disciples of Hellfire weren’t so lucky, surrounded by thousands of Underground Demons, both sides were engaged in a brutal battle.

”Gah gah!... Gah gah!...”

The cultivation of the Underground Demons topped out at the Postnatal Mid-Stage, with most at the Postnatal Early Stage. In one-on-one combat, they were no match for the Disciples of Hellfire.

However, when they attacked in swarms, their strength became evident. Coupled with the demons’ innate fearlessness and the disciples’ weakened state from excessive fighting and excessive True Qi consumption, the demons turned the tide after an initial setback. Chiyo’s group kept losing members until eventually their bodies were torn to shreds in a gruesome death.

It was during this opportunity that Ye Haochuan and Su Zehao, suppressing their disgust, began to search among the chunks of corpses, eventually finding some rewards, such as storage rings, storage bracelets, storage chains, and so on.

Moreover, after performing Blood Droplet Recognition, the haul inside was not small: all kinds of treasures, secret manuals, pills, and weapons, among other things, and in considerable quantities.

”Too bad there’s no Netherworld Holy Water, or else we’d be really hitting the jackpot,” Ye Haochuan said somewhat regretfully.

Su Zehao nodded and said, ”The heart of man is never content, just like a snake trying to swallow an elephant, having this much is already pretty good.”

Ye Haochuan agreed, then looked up at Chiyo and the other battling Disciples of Hellfire with a fervent gaze, ”Once they’re wiped out, we can continue to pick the peaches. It’s just a pity about that Chiyo! That figure, tsk tsk...”

Su Zehao, finding it both funny and pathetic, said, ”You little rascal, don’t tell me you’ve taken a fancy to that Dongying woman? Be careful then, she might drain you dry without you even realizing it.”

”Heh heh!” Ye Haochuan looked at him with a smirk, ”I didn’t expect you to be an old hand at this, tell me, how many women have you bedded?”

Su Zehao was greatly embarrassed and shot back at him, ”Do you think I’m the same kind of guy as you?”

”Come on, what kind of guy am I? Look at you, all bitter, don’t tell me such a handsome dude like you is still a pure, innocent virgin...” Ye Haochuan curled his lip and looked him up and down.

”Get lost, you’re getting more and more indecent!” Su Zehao laughed and scolded him.

Just as Ye Haochuan was about to retort, Su Zehao suddenly said, ”Not good, that woman has broken through the encirclement.”

”What?” Ye Haochuan turned to look, only to see that Chiyo had indeed broken through the encirclement and was making a solo escape to the outside of the abyss. As for the other Disciples of Hellfire, they were all dead on the spot.

”These Underground Demons aren’t good at running; they surely can’t catch up, we have to chase her quickly!”

Ye Haochuan took the lead, with Chiyo having stolen his Fire Dragon Blade. How could he just let this slide? Besides, she also had the Netherworld Holy Water, which was a true treasure; he couldn’t possibly let her escape.

The two of them were well-rested, while Chiyo had been in a fierce battle, her True Qi tremendously depleted and having sustained injuries, so she was quickly overtaken by them. However, to prevent interference from the Underground Demons, they deliberately maintained a distance before jointly blocking her path.

Ye Haochuan faced her directly and could clearly see that she was seriously hurt, with multiple parts of her body torn by the demons’ sharp claws, blood flowing freely, particularly around her chest where even her bra was exposed. The deep ravine that came into view was tantalizing indeed.

”Heh heh, now let’s see where you can run? I advise you to surrender quietly, and I might consider sparing your life,” Ye Haochuan chuckled.

”Despicable Huaxia People, if you know what’s good for you, get out of my way now, or I’ll make sure you die a gruesome death!” Chiyo’s Huaxia was quite basic, but her tone was murderous and imposing.

”Heh heh, still mouthing off when death looms? Fine, I really want to see how you’ll make my death gruesome. Will it be a death craving immortality, or craving death after immortality?” Ye Haochuan joked.

On the other side, Su Zehao listened and felt dizzy. This kid, truly a case of ’a dog can’t change eating shit,’ what’s the time and he’s still playing word games?

”Brother Haochuan, let’s end this quickly. If those demons catch up, it won’t be easy for us to act,” Su Zehao reminded him.

Ye Haochuan waved his hand and chuckled, ”No rush, Brother Zehao. Anyway, those demons won’t attack us, they’ll only go after this Dongying woman. When they arrive, let them do the work, and we’ll reap the benefits afterwards. It’s much more convenient.”

Upon hearing this, Su Zehao felt it made sense and held his peace.

It took a moment for Chiyo to grasp the meaning behind Ye Haochuan’s words. Her expression changed, knowing that dragging this out would only put her at a disadvantage. With a fierce shout, she suddenly threw out a ball of blue flame shaped like a lotus flower, hurtling directly towards Ye Haochuan.

”Eh, what a strange fire. Why is it light blue, and in the shape of a blue lotus?” Ye Haochuan was intrigued.

At that moment, Su Zehao’s voice came through, ”Brother Haochuan, be careful, this is one of the Holy Fires of Hellfire, the Blue Lotus Holy Fire.”

What? Blue Lotus Holy Fire?

Ye Haochuan paused for a second. He searched through the memories passed down by the Holy Hand but found nothing related; it must have been lost.

However, with Su Zehao’s warning, he didn’t dare to take it lightly and hastily executed the Dragon Flight and Tiger Step to dodge.

Boom!

The Blue Lotus Holy Fire smashed into a huge grey rock behind Ye Haochuan and in an instant, the rock exploded, shattering into pieces.

”Damn, that’s powerful?” Ye Haochuan was stunned and felt a chill, ”If that had hit me, wouldn’t I be done for?”

”Brother Haochuan, this Chiyo, being able to use Blue Lotus Holy Fire, must have no ordinary background; she likely holds a high position within the Disciples of Hellfire. We should try to capture her alive, what do you say?” Su Zehao yelled, then started to act, lessening the pressure on Ye Haochuan.

”Right!” Ye Haochuan quickly agreed. Damn, this Dongying girl, looking so alluring, I’ve got to have a taste. It would be a shame to kill her.
