Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 472: Chapter 471: Dare to Contradict Me?

”Despicable? Shameless?”

Ye Haochuan chuckled merrily and replied, ”Miss Fan, thank you for the compliments. To Yours Truly Ye, these words can be considered the highest of praise. However, on another note, Miss Fan, your ability to insult people is rather lacking!”

”What did you say?” Fan Qingyin’s eyebrows shot up, and she huffed in response.

Ye Haochuan smirked, ”Actually, insulting is an art, especially in our Huaxia language, which is profound and extensive. You really need to study and understand it more. For instance, when you were insulting me just now, you could have said... oh, you’re so bad, utterly bad, dead bad!... How’s that? Sounds different, doesn’t it?”

What’s so different about it? Isn’t that just like flirting?

Fan Qingyin rolled her eyes at him and said, ”Boring!”

”How can you call it boring? Miss Fan, it seems you really should learn to flirt; otherwise, how would the ’unique and outstanding’ gentleman you’re always talking about ever take a fancy to you? ...Oh, I may not be entirely honorable, but if we’re talking about being despicable and shameless, I proudly claim to be the first, and in all the world, no one dares to claim the second, so that makes me somewhat ’unique and outstanding,’ right? Why not consider me?” Ye Haochuan said with a grin.

Fan Qingyin was rendered speechless, but she found it somewhat amusing how shamelessly he carried himself. Clearly, ”despicable” and ”shameless” weren’t terms of endearment, yet in his mouth, they became synonyms for noble, and he even delivered the notion with such righteous indignation!

Just then, Huo Mengyao, who was flirting with a female disciple dressed in Phantom Sound Sect attire from afar, approached with a noticeable hint of jealousy in her tone and pinched him hard, saying, ”Senior Brother Ye, what time do you think it is? Still leisurely chatting here? Junior Brother He and the others are rushing over desperately; shouldn’t we hurry to assist them?”

Ye Haochuan grimaced in pain at his waist and shot her a wordless look, thinking to himself that this woman didn’t know how to hold back; all he did was chat up a girl, and now she was practically committing husband-slaughter—absolutely painful!

”What are you looking at?” Huo Mengyao was visibly irked and huffed at Fan Qingyin, ”Isn’t she the ’best friend’ you mentioned, Fan Qingyin? How come it looks to me like she’s your sweetheart too?”

Hearing the obvious jealousy in her words, Ye Haochuan felt a headache coming on. While no one was paying attention, he playfully patted her bottom and chuckled, ”How could that be? How could I be such a casual person? Even if she wanted to be my sweetheart, I’m not yet mentally prepared!”

Huo Mengyao, already fuming with anger, turned beet red from the embarrassment of being spanked in front of so many people, which robbed her of any courage she might have had to argue back. She could only glare at him in annoyance and kept her mouth shut.

This shameless wretch—always saying he isn’t casual, yet acting so freely!

Fan Qingyin saw what he did and thought to herself how Haimie could fall for such a shameless and vulgar guy. It was infuriating!

Seeing that Fan Qingyin looked upset and on the verge of lashing out, Ye Haochuan quickly backtracked, ”Let’s go, let’s go, let’s head out and assist Junior Brother He. If we’re late, we’ll regret it.”

Having said that, he wrapped an arm around Huo Mengyao’s willowy waist and urged her forward.

Unable to argue with him, Huo Mengyao had to let him have his way, but Fan Qingyin wasn’t about to let it go: ”Ye Haochuan, what do you mean? Clarify yourself! When you say you’re not casual, are you implying I am?”

Damn, this girl sure knows how to extrapolate, learning to deduce one thing from another!

Ye Haochuan, lost for words, replied, ”Miss Fan, what are you talking about? Did I imply that? You’re clearly overthinking it. Now enough, let’s stop fussing. A large group of high-rank One-Horned Wild Wolves is rushing this way. We need to find somewhere to hide quickly, otherwise, we’ll be done for...”

”What? You’re saying I’m making a fuss?” Fan Qingyin’s voice rose an octave.

Huo Mengyao gave Ye Haochuan a meaningful glance, her eyes filled with reproach, as if to say, ’Look at the trouble you’ve caused, always speaking without thinking, now you see the mess we’re in, right?’

At that moment, Ye Haochuan was also getting irritated; this Fan Qingyin, relying on the fact that she was his wife’s best friend, was being so petulant. Did she really believe he wouldn’t get provoked into disciplining her right then and there?

”Mengyao, you go greet everyone and have them go inside, I’ll be right behind you,” Ye Haochuan said sternly, in a tone that brooked no argument.

Huo Mengyao, having never heard him speak with such seriousness, was initially a bit discontented, but somehow, she opened her small mouth and eventually obediently followed his instructions, busying herself with the task.

Without Huo Mengyao by his side, Ye Haochuan felt less cautious. He walked up to Fan Qingyin, chuckled and said, ”Miss Fan, why so furious? Look at you, your face is usually so pretty and nice, but when you get angry, you look just like an old witch, so ugly!”

This bastard, is he trying to provoke me?

Fan Qingyin couldn’t hold back any longer, and tried to slap him, but Ye Haochuan wasn’t about to let her succeed. He caught her hand and laughed, ”Miss Fan, you want to hit people, fine, but not the face. Brother here relies on his good looks to make a living! If you disfigure my face, how will I charm the ladies in the future?”

Fan Qingyin found his shamelessness absolutely laughable.

”I want to do more than disfigure your face, I want to tear up that hateful mouth of yours,” Fan Qingyin said, puffing with anger.

”Isn’t that a bit too sadistic, using the word ’tear’? I’ll never allow it. But if you want to bite, I might consider it,” said Ye Haochuan with a cheeky grin.

”You...”

Letting him take advantage like this left Fan Qingyin trembling with rage, yet feeling helpless. Knowing she couldn’t win a war of words with him, she simply stopped engaging and turned to leave.

Seeing that she didn’t enter the cauldron but instead headed elsewhere, Ye Haochuan thought to himself about her fierce temperament, shocked she would just walk away.

Considering that her powers were sealed and she couldn’t protect herself in the Fire Elemental Realm, Ye Haochuan quickly grabbed her and said, ”Where do you think you’re going? Do you have a death wish? Don’t you know you’re less capable than an ordinary person right now?”

”Mind your own business?” Fan Qingyin retorted, angrily shaking off his hand.

Damn, she’s really getting worked up, isn’t she?

Ye Haochuan snorted, ”I’m telling you, Miss Fan, I went to a lot of trouble to rescue you, and now you just walk away? What’s that supposed to mean?”

”You rescued me? Don’t make me laugh,” Fan Qingyin snorted. ”It was your sworn brother who saved us. What does that have to do with you?”

This mess has unfolded, and somehow Sakamoto Ryuuji, that fat pig, ends up with the credit—a miscarriage of justice indeed!

Ye Haochuan couldn’t help but laugh wryly and shook his head, ”So, you’re saying you won’t follow my arrangements?”

”Indeed...”

Fan Qingyin was responding when her body suddenly stiffened, Ye Haochuan had pressed her acupoint, rendering her immobile.

”Rebellious, dare to talk back to me? Asking for a beating!”

Ye Haochuan snorted, scooped her up around the waist, and couldn’t help but give her butt a smack, damn, what great elasticity!
