Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 490: Chapter 489: Intercepted

This was an abyss so deep that its bottom could not be seen, with a ground and rock walls presenting a dismal gray color, bereft of even a blade of grass.

”This Demon’s Lair used to be a volcanic crater. Ever since the volcano erupted once, it quieted down and became the dwelling of demons. We need to be careful. The Underground Demons might not recognize us, but we can’t let our guard down against our own kind, especially the Disciples of Hellfire from the Evil Cult...” Su Zehao explained while leading Ye Haochuan down the path.

”Mm.”

Ye Haochuan followed behind Su Zehao, walking silently but with his eyes and ears alert to their surroundings.

Seeing his agile movements and calm demeanor, Su Zehao nodded slightly in approval.

As the two of them walked on, they gradually entered deeper into the Demon’s Lair, where the temperature rose higher and higher, making them feel as if they were being roasted on a furnace.

”Ao ao... ao ao...”

Just as they were walking, a strange howling sound reached their ears from ahead. Su Zehao’s expression changed, and he instinctively shouted back to Ye Haochuan, ”Hide quickly, the Underground Demons have appeared, and there’s not just a few of them.”

Yet Ye Haochuan remained unmoved and said without a word, ”Come on, Brother Zehao, didn’t we apply a special potion? What’s there to be afraid of?”

It was then that Su Zehao remembered and returned to his side, sheepishly saying, ”I got a little nervous and forgot about your special potion, but are you sure it’ll work?”

”What? You don’t trust me?” Ye Haochuan asked with a smile.

Seeing his confident appearance, Su Zehao chuckled awkwardly, ”Alright, since we’re in this together now, I’ll listen to you.”

Although his metaphor was a bit awkward, Ye Haochuan didn’t mind and laughed, ”That’s more like it.”

The two continued on their way and soon saw a large group of monsters constantly roaring at a small cave in a cliff face that was about five Zhang high. They were the Underground Demons.

These Underground Demons were truly hideous, each with a dark face, protruding eyes, and fangs, naked with bulging muscles, and two slightly raised lumps of muscle on their backs that, at a glance, looked like two large buns. It was easy to imagine that their strength was undoubtedly formidable. Especially the things between their legs, larger than a horse’s, standing erect and emitting steam, they were hideously frightening.

Fucking hell, these Underground Demons truly redefine ugliness! Disgusting!

Ye Haochuan shook his head in disgust.

”These Underground Demons must have sensed someone intruding, which is why they gathered here to drive away the human invaders. But those who have made it here all possess remarkable martial skills and can scale walls and roofs with ease. However, these Underground Demons cannot, but if they encounter a Yaksha, those people, even if hidden in the caves on the cliff, would still be unable to escape.”

”Yaksha?” Ye Haochuan was taken aback, as his Holy Hand heritage did not include such creatures.

Seeing his confusion, Su Zehao explained, ”That’s right, in this Demon’s Lair, Demons are the lowest beings, while the Yaksha are one level higher. They have more developed thighs and incredible jumping power, a height like this wouldn’t trouble them.”

Then Ye Haochuan understood.

”Let’s move on quickly,” Su Zehao urged after assessing the situation.

”Alright!”

The two immediately quickened their pace, passing by the group of Underground Demons.

At first, Su Zehao was very cautious, afraid of alarming the group of Underground Demons and getting attacked. However, after looking at them once, the Underground Demons snarled blankly before no longer reacting.

Only then did Su Zehao fully believe in the power of Ye Haochuan’s special potion, his confidence surged, and he led Ye Haochuan to pass through quickly.

Little did they know, as they hurried past, whispers emanated from within that cliff cave.

”How is this possible? Those Demons clearly saw the two of them, why aren’t they pursuing?”

”It’s unbelievable, could these two disciples from the Ancient Martial Arts Sect have some special treasure on them that makes the demons weary?”

”No good, we have to figure this out, and we better call ahead to notify the senior brothers to intercept these two immediately.”

...

At this moment, Ye Haochuan and Su Zehao, who had just passed through safely, had no idea that they were being targeted and that their path forward would be obstructed.

However, after the recent event, Su Zehao completely trusted the special medicinal solution and quickened his pace.

Along the way, they constantly encountered demons, Yakshas, and even Flying Yakshas that could soar freely, but these simple-minded, brawny monsters simply smelled their scent from afar and mistook them for their own kind, paying them no mind.

”Stop right there!”

As they turned a corner, suddenly a group of people jumped out, all staring at the two with ill intentions.

Ye Haochuan and Su Zehao looked up and frowned, realizing from the flame insignia on the clothing of these people that they were disciples of the Hellfire Sect, and three of them had Postnatal Peak cultivation levels.

On the spot, Su Zehao took out his foldable fan weapon, while Ye Haochuan drew out his Fire Dragon Blade to prepare for the confrontation.

”%&￥#...”

The leader, a mature woman resembling Tsukamoto Yūki with an ample bust, rattled off something incomprehensible.

Su Zehao, who understood the Dongying language, was about to speak when Ye Haochuan started chuckling and stopped him, ”This Dongying MILF, your frail body is no match, let me handle this.”

Su Zehao was baffled, what does my physique have to do with whether I’m a match or not?

But seeing Ye Haochuan so determined, Su Zehao chose to keep his mouth shut.

Then, Ye Haochuan chuckled and glanced at the Dongying woman’s Saintess Peaks, ”Hey beauty, could you please speak human? Nobody understands your bird language!”

The Dongying mature woman was stunned for a moment before raising her hand and pointing, speaking in broken Huaxia, ”Spill it, how did you guys get through this way without any trouble, do you have some powerful treasure on you? Hand it over quickly and we’ll spare your lives!”

”Spare our lives?” Ye Haochuan snorted and chuckled, ”Fuck, lady, your chest is big but your words are even bigger!”

Su Zehao couldn’t help but smile; Brother Haochuan was just too funny.

”Dammit!”

It was then that the Dongying mature woman realized she had been played, cursing in her native language before gesturing for the Hellfire disciples behind her to attack.

Seven or eight Hellfire disciples, upon receiving the order, looked murderous as they unleashed their killing moves and charged forward.

The two hurriedly faced their attackers.

Su Zehao’s Literary Qi erupted on the spot, waving his folding fan continuously. In a flash, over a dozen streaks of Literary Qi converged into the white light of the fan, slashing swiftly at the Hellfire disciples charging at them.

Slit... slit... slit...

Soon, two or three Hellfire disciples with merely Postnatal Mid-Stage strength were struck, falling in pools of blood.

The others, though injured to varying degrees, were only lightly wounded due to their higher cultivations, with the two Postnatal Peak men emerging unscathed, swiftly attacking Su Zehao from both left and right.
