Global Survival: I Got the D-Rank Personnel Simulator

A Stable Triangular Structure

”You should be from that organization that held the Fishing Competition, the cult... are you some kind of cult group?”

Lin Ye looked at Aro, still in his Sloth state, unafraid of these people making a move.

”Cult? To you, we probably are a cult, but in truth, we’re a group that doesn’t believe in any deity. We believe in a far greater existence, but unfortunately, the system has blocked all information related to that existence, so I can’t go into detail with you.”

Aro looked at Lin Ye with deep regret. If Lin Ye could join the cult, he might even become one of its leaders someday.

”Leave aside the sewer cult and the Red Sea trash for now. What’s your deal? I don’t remember having an enemy like you.”

Lin Ye turned to Medal. He could probably guess her identity, but he still needed confirmation.

”You haven’t actually offended me, but you should know a young girl who calls herself Little Ye. She’s quite famous in the mental world. I’m the master of that City of Spirit. When the cruise ship entered the Port, I sensed you. Your mental fluctuations are very similar to hers.”

Medal stared at Lin Ye through her black veil, sparks flickering in her eyes.

”So you want to capture me to threaten her?”

Lin Ye knew it had to do with Little Ye.That was why he’d been keeping an eye on Medal. She was a mental creature, the biggest threat to him in this place.

”No, I don’t like threatening people. I’ll cleanly erase your consciousness, then make a spiritual gift box out of it and send it to that woman.”

Medal suppressed her anger, maintaining the bare minimum of dignity. She didn’t want to unleash her fury on a passerby.

”Good, I like your straightforward attitude. You can all make your move now.”

Lin Ye didn’t bother talking to the man. They were old friends.

”If you’re willing to give me that flower, I can help you eliminate one enemy.”

The man, however, didn’t share the same mutual understanding. It was very interested in that flower.

”Can you stop saying such brain-dead things? This kind of deal has no basis for agreement. I don’t make deals with enemies.”

Lin Ye really disliked engaging in such meaningless conversation, especially before a fight.

”I can eliminate one enemy for you first, as long as you promise to give me the flower. I only need a verbal promise... You probably don’t fully understand your current situation, do you?”

The man offered its sincerity.

”I admit you’re very sincere, but I don’t like making deals with enemies. Whatever you’re trying to achieve, I suggest you give up.”

Lin Ye was rarely this civil to his enemies.

”Don’t rush. Let me tell you the situation first. That coffin isn’t some kind of mental teleportation device; it’s a tool for diving deeper into the mental world. Every time you lie in it and close the lid, you descend further into the mental world. At each depth, there’s an identical coffin, and inside each coffin at every depth you’ve passed through, there’s a different version of you. You can’t go back.”

The man spoke very seriously.

”He’s not lying to you. Countless people have collected those items in the mental world, but very few can make the flower bloom. And among those, only three have managed to return to the shallow layers of the mental world. Those three eventually became existences above deityhood, so I have to deal with you here.”

Aro was already prepared to go all out. If Lin Ye was allowed to keep growing, it wouldn’t be long before he became a threat to the cult.

”Even if you do manage to escape back, it’s meaningless. Before I moved here, I already notified many mental creatures related to that woman. They should be waiting for you outside by now.”

During her ’exchange’ with Little Ye, Medal had learned one thing: only by exhausting every means available would she have no regrets later.

”This is indeed very dangerous... so why aren’t you making a move?”

Lin Ye asked with perfect calm.

”Because we don’t need to. As long as we keep you trapped here in this state, your consciousness will collapse completely soon enough.”

Though ready to die for the cult, if he had a choice, Aro didn’t want to.

”And you? Not making a move either?”

Lin Ye yawned out of boredom. He was still in his Sloth state and couldn’t even feel the drain on his consciousness-after all, that was a form of damage too.

The reason he hadn’t struck first was that he wanted to learn about his enemies’ methods before acting. It wasn’t like these people could hurt him anyway.

It definitely wasn’t because he was too lazy to make a move.

”I’m in no rush. This is just a clone anyway. I can afford to wait.”

The man also didn’t want to strike first. It wanted to snatch that flower back to the Red Sea.

”You bunch of bastards... let’s just see who breaks first, then.”

Medal could at most accept attacking together. None of the four present were allies. Whoever struck first would be targeted by the others. After dealing with Lin Ye, it would be their turn to fight each other.

After all, there was only one flower, and everyone wanted it. Some might already have their eyes on what others possessed.

They might have even planned out how to use the corpses.

”How about you three fight each other first? I can just surrender.”

Lin Ye casually walked over to the coffin and sat down beside Aro.

”I don’t mind. Let’s just wait. I can stay here for a hundred years.”

Aro shifted a little distance away and said nonchalantly.

They all knew that only Medal and Lin Ye couldn’t afford to wait. Medal needed to resolve things here quickly so she could return to look after the City of Spirit-after all, those mental creatures wouldn’t guard her home for free.

Once Medal and Lin Ye started fighting, they could seize absolute advantage.

”I don’t mind either. So what if I lose the City of Spirit? Let’s see how long you can hold out.”

Medal had already thought this through. She conjured a high-backed chair with her mental energy and sat down opposite Lin Ye.

”Then I mind even less. This isn’t even my true body. I can stay here until the mental world is destroyed.”

The man also walked over to the coffin and sat down on Lin Ye’s other side.

”So it looks like I’ll have to make the first move after all. How about this-give me something good, and whoever gives me the worst thing, I’ll attack them first.”

Lin Ye wasn’t exactly unable to wait. As long as he didn’t return to the Shelter, his Special Ability wouldn’t disappear. He just didn’t want to waste too much time here. He still needed to rest tonight, and tomorrow morning he had his daily simulation.

”Then go ahead and make your move. Do we look like idiots to you?”

As soon as Aro finished speaking, he saw the man hand Lin Ye a blood-red rune, and Medal also passed Lin Ye a sleek-looking black hand mirror.

”Are you sure you’re not the idiot?”

Lin Ye accepted both tributes and placed them on top of the coffin.
