Infinite: 10,000x Cashback System In Cultivation World

Somewhere on the Main Peak of the Cloudwater Sect.

The dark chamber’s surrounding glowing stones flickered slightly. One by one, shadowy figures wearing grey and black robes appeared out of thin air, sitting on the chairs positioned around the big round table in the middle of the room.

When every seat was filled, the heavy shadow mist covering their faces slowly dispersed, revealing their actual identities.

Sitting at the top eastern seat was Elder Yan. He held the official position of Vice Master of the Heavenly Eye Pavilion, which was responsible for all intelligence gathering and background investigations in the entire Cloudwater Sect.

To his left was Elder Cao, who held the position of Vice Master of the Hall of Disciplinary Punishment. Elder Cao had a very stern face and wore dark heavy armor, emitting a cold killing intent that made the room feel very cold.

The Hall of Disciplinary Punishment was one of the sect’s most important halls, responsible for maintaining order and enforcing the sect’s rules. It handled everything from disputes between disciples and violations of sect regulations to investigating traitors, spies, and serious crimes committed within the sect. Its elders were given considerable authority when dealing with disciplinary matters, and even core disciples could not simply ignore their summons. As a result, disciples usually tried their best not to attract the attention of this hall.

Elder Cao placed his big iron hands on the wooden table and opened his mouth to speak first. ”Elder Yan, Elder Lin, why did you call us to this emergency secret meeting today? The Punishment Hall currently has many matters to settle regarding the border conflict with the neighbouring demonic sects.”

Elder Lin was the Master of the Disciple Management Pavilion. He did not talk nonsense and directly took out a red jade slip from his storage ring, placing it onto the center of the table.

”Just an hour ago, an Outer Sect disciple named Yu Liang came to the Honorary Disciple Pavilion. He directly bought the Honorary Disciple token for a full year without blinking. After that, he even directly bought the usage rights to the Top Tier Nine Heavens Spirit Mist Palace.”

Elder Cao heard this and his eyebrows jumped slightly. ”To buy the token for one year requires 300,000 High Grade Spiritual Stones. The Nine Heavens Spirit Mist Palace costs 500,000 High Grade Spiritual Stones just for the initial purchase. That is a total of 800,000 High Grade Spiritual Stones! An ordinary Outer Sect disciple actually pulled out such an astronomical amount of money in a single day?”

”That is correct,” Elder Lin said while nodding his head heavily. ”According to the grand security rules of our sect, any transaction that exceeds 100,000 High Grade Spiritual Stones will automatically trigger a Top level background check. Therefore, I immediately asked the Heavenly Eye Pavilion to investigate this Yu Liang’s files.”

This rule existed for a simple reason. Transactions involving such enormous amounts of wealth were rarely ordinary. A cultivator suddenly spending more than 100,000 High Grade Spiritual Stones could be using resources obtained from a powerful family, an unknown faction, or even an enemy force. Without proper investigation, the sect could unknowingly become involved in a dispute or allow an outsider to gain access to its internal resources and connections.

At this moment, Elder Yan of the Heavenly Eye Pavilion let out a light laugh. He stroked his beard and said in a proud tone, ”The Heavenly Eye Pavilion has already investigated Yu Liang’s entire life history thoroughly. The information we found is extremely interesting.”

Hearing this, a senior elder sitting nearby could not help but praise out loud, ”As expected of the Heavenly Eye Pavilion! They actually managed to investigate a disciple’s detailed background so clearly in such short amount of time. The speed of the Heavenly Eye Pavilion is truly terrifying!”

Elder Yan smiled slightly and said, ”It was not very difficult because his official sect records were very easy to pull up.”

Elder Yan injected his spiritual energy into the red jade slip on the table. Immediately, a projection of glowing words appeared in the air so all the high-level elders present could read the detailed report.

According to the official investigation report:

Yu Liang was originally an orphan with no father, no mother, and zero financial resources. During a big drought in the mortal world, he wandered among the refugees as a beggar, almost starving to death. At that time, a scouting elder from the Cloudwater Sect passed through the mortal kingdom, saw that Yu Liang was pitiful, and brought him back to the mountain, directly admitting him as an Outer Sect disciple.

However, after entering the sect and testing his talent, it was discovered that Yu Liang’s cultivation talent was extremely trashy and far below the minimum requirements of the sect. According to the strict rules of the Cloudwater Sect, any disciple who cannot make a breakthrough within the given time limit must be kicked out of the sect immediately. But because the scouting elder saw that Yu Liang was very hardworking, honest, polite, and handled all practical chores very well, the elder felt soft hearted. Instead of kicking him down the mountain to become a mortal again, the elder arranged for Yu Liang to be transferred to the Handyman Disciple Area to do labor work.

However, the report showed that during a recent period, Yu Liang suddenly began to show miraculous changes.

First, when he went on a sect mission to Jade City, the ship was attacked by many dangerous cultivators from the Passion Sect. During the critical moment, Yu Liang suddenly displayed immense combat power and comprehended ’Force’, beating the Passion Sect’s Outer Sect disciple until they collapsed.

Second, after returning to the sect, his cultivation level, which had been stuck at the bottom for years, suddenly began to soar upward at an unbelievable speed that completely defied his original trash talent assessment.

Third, he suddenly possessed a very large number of Mid Grade Spiritual Stones.

After reading the entire report, the secret meeting room became completely quiet for a long time.

Elder Cao of the Punishment Hall stroked his chin and said in a heavy tone, ”A poor orphan from a refugee camp who suddenly possesses immense wealth, hidden high level comprehension, and rapid cultivation breakthroughs... This situation is far too suspicious.”

”No, this is actually very normal,” Elder Yan of the Heavenly Eye Pavilion analyzed with a confident expression. ”Let us analyze the facts carefully. How could a real orphan from a mortal refugee camp suddenly produce hundreds of millions of Mid Grade Spiritual Stones? Even if an ordinary beggar luckily found a ancient immortal’s treasure cave, when spending such big money, he would definitely be nervous, scared, or overly excited. But according to Elder Mu’s report, Yu Liang spent 800,000 High Grade Spiritual Stones with a completely calm face, as if he was just throwing away cheap rocks. This kind of calm attitude toward huge wealth can only be raised from childhood inside a supreme family!”

Elder Lin listened and his eyes brightened. ”Elder Yan, do you mean this is a clan trial?”

”Exactly!” Elder Yan said firmly. ”Many ancient hidden families and supreme families love to seal their descendants cultivation and memories, sending them to the mortal world as beggars or refugees to experience human suffering and temper their dao heart! Once the trial period ends, the family unseals their memories giving them wealth and status! Yu Liang telling Elder Mu that he opened a small business called ’Heavens Table’ out of boredom is obviously just a casual lie he made up because he cannot reveal his ancient family’s real name during his outside trial!”

All the elders in the room heard this analysis and nodded their heads repeatedly.

They felt that Elder Yan’s words were 100% logical and completely explained everything.

Elder Cao checked the file again and said, ”His past record in the Handyman Disciple Area is also very clean. He has never brought any trouble or harm to the sect. During the Passion Sect attack, he even actively saved his fellow disciples and protected the sect’s reputation. His character, morality, and loyalty are all top notch.”

Elder Lin also nodded and said, ”That is right. A young master from a powerful hidden family staying in our Cloudwater Sect is a huge opportunity for us. As long as we treat him well, our sect will gain immense benefits in the future.”

”Then let us make the final decision,” Elder Yan said to everyone. ”We will pretend we do not know his true identity so we do not interfere in the trails set by the hidden family behind him. We will give him full freedom in the sect. However, basic safety and caution are still necessary. The Heavenly Eye Pavilion will secretly keep an eye on unexpected situations surrounding him which can threaten the sect while he stays on our mountain.”

”Agreed!”

”Agreed!”

After reaching a complete agreement, all the elders activated their energy at the same time. Thick black fog surged up from the ground, covering their bodies again. In the next second, every single elder vanished from the secret room completely, leaving the room totally dark and empty once more.
