Infinite: 10,000x Cashback System In Cultivation World

”Please wait here, Senior Brother! I will bring the spiritual stones immediately first.”

Disciple Zhao didn’t dare to delay. He rushed out of the cabin and returned in less than twenty minutes later, accompanied by two burly outer sect guards as a escort.

With trembling hands, Zhao opened the space ring. Inside were rows upon rows of glowing Mid Grade Spiritual Stones.

”S-Senior Brother, the total is exactly 527 million Mid Grade Spiritual Stones. Please verify,” Zhao said bowing.

Yu Liang casually swept his spiritual sense over the ring. ”No need to count. I trust the Treasury Hall.”

After seeing that transaction is done, gaurds left the cabin. Once everything was verified that there was no longer any risk of interference or scamming, there was no reason for them to remain.

With a wave of his hand, he absorbed the entire ring into his system space disguised as spatial ring. The transaction was officially complete. The sect’s grand ledger automatically updated, recording the massive influx of materials and the corresponding payout.

The grand ledger was important because it allowed the sect to keep a precise record of every major transaction, especially ones involving enormous amounts of resources. It prevented disputes, reduced the chance of resources being lost or misappropriated, and gave the sect a clear account of what had entered its treasury and what had been paid out.

For a transaction such as this large, having the record automatically updated also meant that no elder or disciple could later claim ignorance about where the resources had gone.

Smaller sects usually did not have anything like the Grand Ledger. Their transactions were often recorded by individual elders, treasury disciples, or even simple paper records, which left plenty of room for mistakes and fraud. There had been countless cases where resources disappeared from a treasury, transaction records were altered, or an elder quietly claimed that a certain payment had never been made. Sometimes the amount involved was small, but there were also cases where entire shipments of spiritual herbs or thousands of spiritual stones vanished without anyone being able to determine who was responsible.

This was one of the reasons large sects and powerful families took their accounting systems so seriously. Even the top cultivation families maintained similar systems for their major transactions. Every large exchange was recorded, verified, and entered into their central ledger, making it much harder for anyone to secretly alter the accounts.

It was not simply about keeping track of money. At their level, a single transaction could involve enough resources to affect the development of an entire clan or sect, so having an accurate record was essential.

Zhao let out a breath of relief, wiping the cold sweat from his forehead. ”Thank you for your cooperation, Senior Brother. I will now go to the Hall Master to submit the final report and then talk about your de—”

”Hold on,” Yu Liang interrupted. ”Before you go, I have another transaction. I want to buy these products back.”

Zhao froze. ”B-Buy them back?”

”Yes,” Yu Liang smiled. ”And as a token of my appreciation for your hard work today, I will also give you a 10% tip of the total value.”

Silence.

Dead, suffocating silence filled the cabin.

Zhao’s face, which had just regained a bit of color, instantly turned a sickly pale. His legs gave out and he slumped against the table, looking like he was about to burst into tears.

”S-Senior Brother... please, I beg you, don’t play with me!” Zhao’s voice cracked, filled with absolute despair. ”If I take those 527 million Mid Grade Spiritual Stones, record it in the grand ledger, and then immediately buy the exact same pile of materials back... the Hall Master will think I’m making a fool of the sect. They will think I’m laundering funds! I know there is no rule stating a disciple can’t buy back his items, but not like this! If I submit a report like this, they... they will think I’m messing with them, please I don’t want to die, Senior Brother!”

He was genuinely on the verge of crying.

The scale of this so called ’joke’ was simply too massive. This wasn’t some minor accounting error that could be corrected with a few explanations. Hundreds of millions of Mid Grade Spiritual Stones were involved. One wrong entry could attract the attention of the Hall Master, the Treasury Elders, and anyone responsible for overseeing the sect’s finances.

And Zhao was the one whose name would be attached to the transaction.

Even if he had done nothing wrong, he could already imagine himself being dragged into an interrogation and spending the rest of his life explaining why he had processed such an absurd transaction.

For Zhao, this wasn’t funny at all.

It was a career ending disaster waiting to happen that would get him executed ten times over.

Seeing the poor disciple’s tragic state, Yu Liang’s smile deepened. He stepped forward and patted Zhao’s shoulder gently.

”Brother Zhao, calm down. Don’t worry,” Yu Liang said, his voice carrying a magical, soothing power. ”I won’t let you submit a fake report. You see, I will buy the items back from you, but then... I will give the items back to you again, completely free of cost. You don’t have to record it everytime, isn’t that easy.”

Zhao’s tears stopped mid face. He blinked, looking at Yu Liang as if the young man had just grown a second head.

’Give them back to me? For free? Is this guy crazy? What kind of weird, cranky taste do these ultra rich people have these days?! They spend 527 million to buy something, just to give it away again? Wait... No he’s not only giving it away but he’s also giving the money back, oh shit what kind of that thinking is??!!

But then, the gears in Zhao’s head finally clicked into place.

’Wait. He wants to buy it from the sect, so the sect gets their money back and the ledger is perfectly balanced plus we have materials too. On top of that there’s the 10% tip...’

10% of 527 million Mid Grade Spiritual Stones was 52.7 million Mid-Grade Spiritual Stones!

52.7 million!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zhao’s breath hitched. With that kind of money, he didn’t just have to worry about his life anymore. He could buy a High Grade Foundation Establishment pill, secure a luxurious cave abode, or even just retire to a mortal city and live as a billionaire patriarch for the rest of his life.

The 10% tip wasn’t just a tip, it was money meant for silencing hin, a guarantee of his absolute secrecy and a ticket to a life of unimaginable luxury.

Fear instantly vanished from Zhao’s heart, replaced by an overflowing, explosive happiness. His eyes practically turned into the shape of spiritual stones.

”I agree! I completely agree!” Zhao shouted, his voice trembling with extreme excitement. He slapped his chest. ”Senior Brother Yu, you are my benefactor! From today on, my mouth is sealed tighter than Sect’s vault! Whatever you want to do, I will handle the ledger perfectly!”

Now it was Yu Liang’s turn to be confused. He had no idea what the other party was thinking.

’Why is he keeping his mouth shut? I’m just giving you a tip, brother. Why are you acting like I’m telling you some kind of important secret?’

”Good,” Stil, Yu Liang chuckled. ”Let’s begin.”

Yu Liang opened his spatial ring and transferred the 527 million Mid Grade Spiritual Stones back into the Treasury’s receiving array, officially ”purchasing” the mountain of materials back from the sect.

The moment the spiritual stones left his account and entered the sect’s array, a chime sounded instantly

[ Ding! Host spent 527,000,000 Mid Grade Spiritual Stones on purchasing materials ]

[ Multiplier Triggered: 2452x ]

[ Host Receives 1,292,204,000,000 Mid Grade Spiritual Stones ]

Yu Liang’s heart filled with joy. ’Over a Trillion Mid Grade stones for start, not bad, not bad at all.’

But he didn’t let his joy show on his face. He calmly turned to Zhao and transferred the agreed-upon tip.

Whoosh

A spatial ring filled with 52.7 million Mid Grade Spiritual Stones landed in Zhao’s trembling hands.

The moment the transaction was completed, the system chimed again.

[ Ding! Host spent 52,700,000 Mid Grade Spiritual Stones ]

[ Multiplier Triggered: 1450x ]

[ Host Receives 76,415,000,000 Mid Grade Spiritual Stones ]

’Another 76 billion Mid Grade stones.’

Yu Liang looked at system inventory. ’This is the true meaning and use of the System’

Externally, Yu Liang maintained his calm, gentle smile. He waved his hand, and the massive mountain of Tier 2 to Tier 4 materials was pushed back across the table, directly in front of the dumbfounded Disciple Zhao.

”These are yours now, Brother Zhao,” Yu Liang said, his voice as gentle as a spring breeze. ”As promised. Handle the ledger however you see fit.”

Zhao stared at the mountain of treasures, then down at the spatial ring in his hand containing his new life savings. He looked up at Yu Liang, his eyes filled with a reverence usually reserved for the Sect Elders.

”Senior Brother Yu...” Zhao whispered, his voice thick with emotion. ”You... you are truly a living God of Wealth. If you ever need me to sell something back to the sect ten times in a row, just say the word. I will do it until my hands bleed!”

Yu Liang chuckled, patting Zhao’s shoulder one last time. ”I’ll keep that in mind. Take care of these items, Brother Zhao. I’ll see myself out.”

With that Yu Liang turned and walked out of Cabin Nine, securing an ally in the Treasury Hall, and proved once again that in this cultivation world, money truly makes the world go round.
