Infinite: 10,000x Cashback System In Cultivation World

( Big Chapter )

The menial disciple area of the Cloudwater Sect was located at the very foot of the mountain, far from the spiritual peaks and pavilions. Only after experiencing the various privileges here did Yu Liang finally understand. The spiritual energy in this place was simply too thin. No wonder no disciple was willing to come here and the environment was shabby and rundown.

Walking through the muddy paths, Yu Liang observed the surroundings. The menial disciples were bent over, carrying heavy buckets of water and spiritual fertilizer, their backs bent under the weight of their labor.

Seeing this, Yu Liang couldn’t help but let out a soft sigh.

He remembered when he was just like them. Working like an old cow day and night, barely earning enough low grade spiritual stones to buy the most inferior Qi Condensation pills. If he hadn’t awakened the system, he would have spent his entire life in this same mud, aging and dying without ever seeing the vibrant, rich world of true cultivators.

But even after getting the system, his life hadn’t been easy. For a long time, he felt like he was treading on thin ice. He had a heaven defying thing, but he had no real power and no background to protect his wealth. In this ruthless cultivation world, a fat sheep without fangs is just a walking treasure. One wrong step, one moment of carelessness, and he would have been devoured by those with stronger cultivation.

However, after his experiences in the Jade City and his recent monumental feat at Blackstone Mountain, things had finally changed. He now had real, tangible power. His foundation was monstrous, his combat strength was proven, and most importantly, no one would dare doubt his wealth ever again because of his backing he created.

”Hehe... now I just need to spend, spend, spend,” Yu Liang chuckled softly to himself.

He realized that the system’s rebate and store functions had another incredible implication, they overlap each other. By spending massive amounts of wealth, he could trigger the rebates and using those same rewards he can get system points, even more importantly, he could finally use the System Store to buy items that would treat and completely heal the damaged cultivation foundations of his bodygaurds. The system literally allowed him to rewrite their fates.

A warm, genuine smile spread across his face as he recalled them.

Soon, he arrived at the spiritual herb farm where his old friends worked.

The moment his white robes appeared on the path, the entire area erupted into a commotion. The menial disciples, the overseers, and even the handyman disciple guards patrolling the area stopped in their tracks. They watched him with expressions of awe, fear, reverence, and deep respect.

The status gap was simply too vast. A menial disciple was considered barely human in the sect’s eyes, while an elite outer sect disciple especially one who had just achieved legendary feats was like a dragon among mortals. The guards instinctively lowered their heads, not daring to make eye contact, while the menial disciples cleared path themselves to give him a wide road.

But in the middle of the vast farm, two figures were completely oblivious to the commotion.

Xiao Fei and Wei Feng were working diligently in the fields. They were covered in dirt, sweating profusely as they carefully weeded around a patch of low tier spiritual herbs, their focus entirely on their hard labor.

Yu Liang stopped at the edge of the field, his eyes softening. He didn’t want to startle them by walking through the mud in his clean robes, so he simply circulated his spiritual energy and sent a gentle voice transmission directly into their minds.

”Xiao Fei. Old Feng.”

The two men jolted violently. Xiao Fei nearly dropped his hoe, and Wei Feng spun around, looking wildly in all directions.

When their eyes finally landed on the young man standing at the edge of the field, smiling warmly at them, both of their eyes widened in sheer disbelief.

”Brother... Brother Yu?!” Xiao Fei gasped.

He didn’t even bother wiping the mud off his face. He dropped his tools and rushed out of the field, his bare feet splashing in the puddles. Wei Feng followed closely behind, limping slightly due to an injury, but moving as fast as his legs could carry him.

When they reached the dry path, they instinctively stopped. Looking at Yu Liang’s immaculate robes and the overwhelming aura radiating from him, their bodies reacted out of years of ingrained conditioning. They quickly cupped their hands and bowed deeply.

”We greet Senior Brother Yu!” they said in unison, their voices trembling with a mix of excitement and nervousness.

Yu Liang’s smile turned into a helpless sigh. He stepped forward and firmly pressed their hands down, stopping their formal greeting.

”I’ve told you before, and I’ll say it again, don’t do this,” Yu Liang said gently, his tone carrying the same warmth it always had. ”No matter what status I have now or no matter wherever I go, we are still friends. Just call me Yu Liang or Brother Yu. None of that ’Senior Brother’ nonsense.”

Hearing his familiar, casual tone, the tension in Xiao Fei and Old Weng’s bodies finally melted away. They looked at each other, and genuine bright smiles broke on their faces.

But the shock quickly faded away and not seeing him for so much time an avalanche of questions came from Xiao Fei, who never was one one to hold back, immediately barraged him.

”Brother Yu! Where have you been all this time?! We heard you went to the Jade City, and then suddenly you were sent away on a mission for months! We were worried sick, thinking you might have run into trouble!”

Xiao Fei didn’t even wait for even a breath before firing the next question. ”And look at you! You’re wearing the crystal clear white robes do you not use it much? and your aura... It’s so suffocating are you at Qi Condensation Realm?! How did you do it? Did you find some secret inheritance in a cave or what?!”

Finally, Xiao Fei gestured wildly toward the path, where the guards were still bowing their heads. ”Also, why are all the guards and overseers looking at you like you’re a terrifying monster? What exactly happened?!”

Yu Liang listened to the rapid fire questions, his eyes crinkling with amusement. He patted Xiao Fei’s muddy shoulder, not caring about the dirt, and answered calmly.

”I’ve been bit busy with sect missions, Xiao Fei. The Jade City was just the beginning, and the recent mission was indeed a tiny bit dangerous, but I handled it,” Yu Liang explained smoothly, keeping the details of the Passion Sect slaughter to himself so as not to worry them.

”As for my cultivation...” Yu Liang smiled mysteriously, ”I just got a bit lucky with some resources and found a good method. And as for the guards, well... let’s just say I completed a mission that caught the Elders’ eyes. Don’t worry about anything else, just focus on your own cultivation.”

He looked at Old Feng’s damaged, slightly crooked meridians visible through his spiritual sense.

”But don’t worry about your hard work anymore,” Yu Liang said. ”I’m going to fix those old injuries of yours. Starting today, your lives are going to change for better.”

After talking with them for a while, Yu Liang took out a batch of cultivation resources and placed them in front of the two. The amount was enough to support their cultivation all the way to the Qi Condensation Realm, including pills and some basic cultivation supplies.

The two stared at the pile in silence.

He wanted to give them spiritual stones too but well even he didn’t have it.

Even though they had already witnessed Yu Liang’s strength, seeing him casually take out so many resources still left them startled. There was even a trace of uneasiness in their eyes. They couldn’t help wondering just how far Yu Liang had traveled on his cultivation path while they were still struggling to make progress.

Yu Liang naturally noticed their expressions. He didn’t want the conversation to become awkward, so he deliberately changed the topic and began talking about some ordinary matters from their time together. His relaxed tone gradually eased the tension, and before long, the those two were speaking with him more naturally again.

During the conversation, Yu Liang suddenly remembered Old Chen.

”By the way, what happened to Old Chen? Is he still working at the Pavilion?”

After asking this, Yu Liang learned that Old Chen had been assigned another month’s duty at the Pill Pavilion. Hearing this, Yu Liang nodded and simply took out another portion of the resources.

”This is his share. Give it to him when you see him.”

The two were once again stunned.

Yu Liang glanced at their expressions and gave a small smile.

Xiao Fei looked at the resources in front of him, then at Yu Liang, his expression gradually turning serious.

”Brother Yu, Thank You! We won’t forget this.”

Wei Feng also nodded heavily. ”You’ve already done more than enough for us. We truly don’t know how to repay you.”

But Xiao Fei suddenly grinned, his usual lively personality returning. ”But don’t worry! I definitely won’t disappoint you. I’ll cultivate properly and make sure every single resource you gave us isn’t wasted.”

Yu Liang couldn’t help chuckling at his words.

”Good. That’s all I ask.”

He stood up and prepared to leave before giving the two of them a final look.

”Take care of yourselves.”

”Goodbye, Brother Yu!” Xiao Fei waved enthusiastically.

Wei Feng also smiled and nodded. ”Take care.”

Yu Liang waved back before turning around and leaving.

After waking a little, Yu Liang paused for a moment and slightly released his aura. The pressure spread through the surrounding area, causing the nearby handyman disciples to suddenly feel their bodies grow heavy and their breathing become difficult.

Before the pressure could last for more than a few breaths, Yu Liang withdrew his aura completely, leaving the surroundings as calm as before.

He knew that once Xiao Fei, Wei Feng, and Old Chen began using the resources he had given them, their rapid progress would naturally attract attention. Most people would probably think twice before causing trouble after realizing their connection to him, but Yu Liang preferred not to leave anything to chance. That brief release of aura was enough to serve as a warning to anyone watching.

He wasn’t threatening them directly.

He was simply making sure they understood one thing clearly, messing with the people connected to him would eventually mean dealing with him.

Looking at their expressions, Yu Liang felt a little more at ease.

These people had known him before he had everything he possessed today. No matter how far he went in the future, he didn’t mind helping them whenever he could.
