Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

Chapter 1475: Forgotten Starfall Domain I

A week later, Ling Yun and Sheng Ming finally arrived at their destination: the Forgotten Starfall Domain. They immediately spread their senses throughout the domain, inspecting every area.

Compared to the Heavenly Spirit Domain, the Forgotten Starfall Domain looked smaller, and the nights there were much longer than the days. Numerous living creatures from various races, including humans, beasts, demihumans, natural races, and demons, once inhabited the domain.

However, the Forgotten Starfall Domain had been left abandoned for several millennia, and it became a harsh and desolate domain. Some areas of the domain have extreme terrain, unpredictable conditions, and a heavy atmosphere.

From above the sky, Ling Yun and Sheng Ming could see that the Forgotten Starfall was divided into several natural regions, each with distinct characteristics.

In the northern region, Ling Yun and Sheng Ming saw a tall black mountain shrouded in dense fog, with its peak disappearing behind dark clouds. The mountain area has many steep slopes with large rocks and minimum vegetation, which is mostly grass and shrubs. They could see many powerful beasts using the mountain, especially on the middle and upper slopes.

In the eastern region, Ling Yun and Sheng Ming discovered barren plains stretching for dozens of miles without shelter. The wind in the region was quite strong, and windstorms occurred there, carrying fine dust and small fragments of stone. A wide variety of beast races, primarily associated with wind and earth elements, inhabited the area.

The conditions in the southern region, where the valleys were located, were slightly better than those in the north and east. The area was much more fertile than the previous two areas, with many lush green plants and various types of beasts. Long, wide rivers stretched from both sides, which were directly connected to the sea several miles away from the valleys.

Dense forests stretched across the western area of the Forgotten Star Domain, but the trees were stunted, twisted, and widely spaced, with pale bark and minimal foliage. Some areas have shallow rivers, but the water is murky and polluted by natural materials, and beasts rarely inhabit those areas. Those that remain have adapted to the harsh conditions, but they exhibit increased aggression and unusual behavior.

From the ruins and remnants of past habitation that remained, Ling Yun and Sheng Ming assumed that the past inhabitants focused more on living in the central region, which stretched several miles in all directions.

Ling Yun and Sheng Ming also found many ruins in other areas, but they were not as numerous as in the central area, and the largest number were in the southern area because it was the most fertile.

Compared to the Heavenly Spirit Domain, the Forgotten Starfall Domain was much more livable, even though the nights were longer. The air in that domain, especially in the central and southern regions, was cool and rich with qi.

Unlike in the Heavenly Spirit Domain, Ling Yun and Sheng Ming could not find any other cultivators besides beast cultivators, and many of the most powerful among them inhabited the central region.

”Husband, I know you want a domain with an ice mountain, but we would be hard-pressed to find one as uninhabited and abandoned as the Heavenly Spirit Domain.” Ling Yun agreed with Sheng Ming, but he hoped to be able to find one. Unfortunately, time kept ticking, and the darkness kept moving closer to them, causing their time to continue decreasing. ”I don’t understand why the previous inhabitants of this domain chose to abandon it, as I don’t sense anything bad or evil here, but I think this domain is much better for our new base. Moreover, we are running out of time, so the sooner you set up your new base the better, and we can focus on preparing ourselves for our final battle.”

”Yeah, you’re right.” Ling Yun sighed softly. ”Looking at the situation in this domain, the northern and western regions aren’t very habitable. However, the western region is the worst off because the pollution there is too high, and the water there is contaminated by natural minerals.”

Sheng Ming nodded in agreement and pointed to the central region. ”If you want to establish your sect, that area is the best choice. However, there are too many ruins and useless relics from the past inhabitants there, so we have no choice but to clear them out first before you can build one. Once the area is clean, we will establish your sect right in the middle of it, and we will build new cities around it.”

”Yes.” Ling Yun looked at the southern region. ”I think that area is most suitable for our future residence because it is the most fertile compared to the others, and the Yunlong Zhuzhai will be the main building. If the others want to live near us, we can build a city for them there.”

”Do you really want to stay in this domain in the future, husband?”

”The Chaos Dragon Domain is indeed the safest place for now, but there’s nothing there except beasts, and I have no plans to bring more humans there in the future. Once our base is ready, I will move everyone who lives there to this domain, and they will start a new civilization here.” Ling Yun turned to Sheng Mei. ”Look at my daughters, Ming’er. They never say anything, but I know they’re tired of living confined like now. Therefore, I will move the Yunlong Zhuzhai and the celestial fortress to this domain in the future. This way, they and my other descendants will live like normal people, and they can enjoy their freedom.”

Sheng Ming nodded in understanding. ”What about the void realm and primordial realm?”

”Ming’er, our final battle is still far from our reach, so I haven’t thought about those two realms.” Ling Yun paused for a while. ”There have never been any other living creatures in the Void Realm besides the old dragon and Huang Lingzhu, right? If I manage to defeat Chaos, I want that realm to remain unchanged. As for the Primordial Realm, let it become a relic of the past, and a new era will begin in the Supreme Realm, just like in the past.”

”Hahaha.” Long Hun laughed as he emerged from Ling Yun’s body. ”Kid, you’ll become omnipotent if you defeat my father, and you’ll be able to do whatever you want with this universe at that time, including rebuilding the Primordial Chaos. Moreover, that realm is the pinnacle of this universe, so it would be best if you and your descendants lived there in the future, right?”
