Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System

Chapter 13: Encounter

After he finished his workouts, it was already afternoon. Ling Yun decided to go to the shopping district, because he wanted to buy some of his motherʼs favorite desserts.

”Although all your workouts earlier were just ordinary exercises, but it is really beneficial for your body, Ling Yun.” Ling Xi said, as she came out of Ling Yunʼs body, and sat on his shoulder.

Ling Yun nodded in agreement. ”En, I agree with you, Ling Xi. I will definitely train even harder to build my body.”

”Anyway, you havenʼt opened your Starter Gift, Ling Yun.” Ling Xi reminded him.

”Oh, I forgot about that.” Ling Yun immediately looked at his Item Box, and opened the Starter Gift directly.

[You obtained Yin-Yang World Ring x1]

”Hmm? Yin-Yang World Ring?” Ling Yun then took the black and white ring, and put it on his finger.

[Ding]

[Yin-Yang World Ring is bound to the host.]

”Eh?” Ling Yun was surprised to see his finger, because the ring suddenly disappeared. ”Where did the ring go, Ling Xi?”

Ling Xi chuckled. ”You donʼt need to panic like that, Ling Yun. You just need to summon the ring with your mind, then the ring will reappear.”

”I see.” Ling Yun immediately tried it, and a moment later the ring had reappeared on his finger. ”This is really amazing! But what is the use of this Yin-Yang World Ring?”

”Hmm? Why are the other six functions locked, Ling Xi? And how should I upgrade this ring?” Ling Yun asked in confusion.

Ling Xi shook her head at him. ”I donʼt know myself, Ling Yun. As the name implies Yin-Yang, maybe it requires Yang and Yin Qi to upgrade.”

Ling Yun couldnʼt help but sigh, since Ling Xi didnʼt know how to upgrade the ring, so he couldnʼt do anything about it either. After walking for some time, Ling Yun finally arrived at his destination, and hurried off to a small food shop in the shopping district. ”Iʼd like to buy a box each of Sesame Seed Dessert Balls, Egg Custard Tarts, Fortune Cookies, and Mung Bean Cake, Aunt Jiang.”

”Oh Yunʼer?” Aunt Jiang said in surprise. ”Didnʼt your mother come with you, Yunʼer?”

”My mother is not coming with me this time, Aunt Jiang.” Ling Yun replied with a smile.

Aunt Jiang nodded in understanding, then she immediately wrapped up all of Ling Yunʼs orders.

After he paid for everything, Ling Yun immediately left the shop, and rushed out of the shopping district.

However, Ling Yun suddenly stopped walking, as he saw two women walking side by side. He then raised his eyebrows, as he recognized the middle-aged woman, but his eyes remained fixed on the young womanʼs face, and his heart skipped a beat.

Suddenly, Ling Xi said to him. ”Hey Ling Yun! Ling Yin is already a novice cultivator like you now, and the young woman beside her is also a cultivator, moreover her cultivation is at the Peak Stage Great Spirit Master Realm.”

ʼEh?ʼ Ling Yun returned to his senses, as he was taken aback by Ling Xiʼs words. Because this afternoon Ling Yin was still an ordinary woman, but now she has become a cultivator. ʼIs that true, Ling Xi?ʼ

”Yes, that young woman seems to be the one who taught her how to cultivate.” Ling Xi replied with a nod, she then continued. ”Moreover, Ling Yin has Lightning Spiritual Veins, and the woman beside her has Ice Spiritual Veins.”

ʼLightning and Ice, huh?ʼ Ling Yun muttered to himself, and his eyes were still fixed on Ling Lingʼs figure. ʼWeird! Why do I feel so familiar with her?ʼ

While Ling Yun was wondering about them, Ling Yin and Ling Ling turned to him, and they looked at him with surprised expressions.

ʼHmm? Who is that man? Why do I feel so familiar with him?ʼ Ling Ling inwardly wondered, as she continued to stare at Ling Yun in confusion.

”Hmm? Do you know that young man, Lingʼer?” Ling Yin asked her niece, but she also wondered about Ling Yun. ʼWhy do I feel like Iʼve met him before? Moreover, his face is familiar to me.ʼ

However, Ling Ling didnʼt say anything to her aunt, and she only replied with a shake of her head.

The three people continued to be silent for quite a while, and they continued to stare at each other, as they wondered in their hearts.

After some time, Ling Ling came back to her senses, she then grabbed Ling Yinʼs hand, and took her to approach Ling Yun.

”Hehe, theyʼre heading here, Ling Yun.” Ling Xi said with a chuckle.

ʼShit!ʼ Ling Yun became panicked by that, even though he used Mo Chenʼs form when having sex with Ling Yin, but he was afraid that she would recognize him.

Arriving in front of Ling Yun, Ling Ling immediately asked. ”Whatʼs your name?”

Ling Ling couldnʼt recognize that Ling Yun was a cultivator, it was because Ling Xi covered up his cultivation aura, so he was just an ordinary human in her eyes.

Ling Yun tried to calm himself down, and calmly replied. ”My name is Fei Yun, Miss.”

”Fei Yun?” The two women muttered to themselves.

Ling Yun deliberately lied to them, because he really didnʼt know them, and he didnʼt want to be recognized by others either. ”And what are you twoʼs names?”

ʼHis voice, the way he speaks, and scents are also similar to Mo Chenʼs.ʼ Ling Yin inwardly muttered, as she watched Ling Yun closely.

”Ling Ling.” She introduced herself, then pointed to her aunt. ”And she is my aunt, Ling Yin.”

Ling Yun froze after he heard her name, because Yi Mingxia had already told him that he had a big sister named Ling Ling, moreover he also felt familiar with her. ʼCould she be my big sister? If she really is my big sister, doesnʼt that mean Ling Yin is my paternal aunt?ʼ
