Chapter 1892: Section 1893: Mother Tree Network

Frode also understood this reasoning, so he didn’t continue to press on the matter, but instead gave the City Lord Monroe a brief explanation about some common knowledge regarding the Dream Plant Fairies.

Everyone else, including those in the Marine Theater and the Dream Plant Fairies, focused their attention on the blooming. Whether shocked by the flowers or curious about the connection between Flafiel’s music and the blooming.

But Angel wasn’t much interested in the blooming; instead, he pondered another thing that caught him by surprise.

This unexpected thing also involved the Dream Plant Fairies.

It was the ”projection” that the initial Dream Plant Fairy conjured in her palm.

While others temporarily overlooked the projection due to subsequent events, Angel kept it in mind. Because the large tree she projected in her palm was none other than the Civilization’s Mother Tree!

It’s important to know that although the Mother Tree created the Dream Plant Fairies, it doesn’t mean the Dream Plant Fairies can control the Mother Tree.

The abilities that Dream Plant Fairies possess have been independent of the Mother Tree since their birth.

Yet, that projection was of the Mother Tree’s image, which made Angel very curious. Could it be that he overlooked some aspect, and the Mother Tree actually endows the Dream Plant Fairies with abilities later on?

Angel thought he had a good understanding of the Mother Tree, and now this unexpected element was outside the scope of his knowledge, naturally leaving him very surprised.

So, while everyone else was focused on the ”blooming,” Angel submerged his thoughts into the ”Tree Civilization,” trying to find an answer.

The speed of thought processing was unimaginable.

In Frode’s eyes, Angel just seemed momentarily stupefied, but in the Mind Space, Angel had already received a vast amount of information related to the Civilization’s Mother Tree.

After reading through this information, Angel’s eyes grew brighter and brighter.

He previously thought he had enough understanding of the Mother Tree, but now he realized he actually knew far less than he thought.

Just like he didn’t know what kind of cities the Dream Plant Fairies would establish, whereas the architecture of the Dream Plant Fairies was actually one of the pieces of information inherited from the Mother Tree.

Additionally, the ability of language, the style of culture, the significance of existence... in every aspect, both realistic and philosophical, the Dream Plant Fairies were influenced by the Mother Tree.

Among these, there was also what Angel didn’t know before—the tree projection.

The so-called ”tree projection,” in the explanation of the Mother Tree, has a clear definition. If translated into Universal Language, it’s similar to specific cultural terms like ”Wotglas” or ”Asgard.”

However, in Angel’s view, it’s actually not that complex and can be explained with one word: the Mother Tree Network.

The Mother Tree is the core of everything.

The Dream Plant Fairies, born because of the Mother Tree, are fundamental points connected to this core.

The way these points represent themselves in relation to the Mother Tree is the ”tree projection,” which is an innate talent all Dream Plant Fairies possess, also known as the Mother Tree Network.

The Mother Tree can use this network to transmit information to the Dream Plant Fairies. Actually, Angel had already tested this before, as he transmitted ”balance and patience” to the Dream Plant Fairies through the Mother Tree, intending to prevent conflict between the Dream Plant Fairies and humans, though he didn’t delve into the transmission medium at that time.

The Dream Plant Fairies, as the key points, are capable of receiving the Mother Tree’s ”oracle” the first time, as long as they are within the Mother Tree’s radiation range, regardless of being near or far.

Of course, unless manipulated by Angel, the Mother Tree usually wouldn’t transmit information to the Dream Plant Fairies. But even if it doesn’t, this platform for information exchange is solidly built. Without the Mother Tree transmitting messages, they can still use this platform to communicate amongst themselves.

Hence, the previous scene occurred.

The Dream Plant Fairies, using themselves as junctions, called all the Dream Plant Fairies in the vicinity who could receive the information through the Mother Tree Network.

This is why so many Dream Plant Fairies suddenly appeared in the Marine Theater.

This Mother Tree Network looks like a special form of real-time information interaction, and even if explained to someone else, it might just seem like a ”Signal Tower” type of communication.

But Angel, having been taught by Jon, deeply understands that this convenient and swift real-time information transmission very likely could give birth to a diverse and explosive form of interaction!

Just like Earth civilization’s information age.

However, Angel currently only sees the potential, and whether it can indeed lead to a new age of interaction requires further research to determine.

”Sir, Sir?” While Angel was deep in thought, Frode’s call brought his wandering consciousness back on track.

Angel looked at Frode in confusion.

”Sir, it seems all the Dream Plant Fairies have gone to the Marine Theater. What should we do next?” Frode paused: ”Shall we send the Sin Hunting Group’s Demon Hunters to guard the doors of the Marine Theater?”

Angel didn’t immediately answer Frode’s question but turned his gaze towards the Marine Theater.

At this moment, Flafiel was surrounded by all the Dream Plant Fairies, who hoped through various pleas and gifts that Flafiel would perform on stage again.

They also wished to grow, like the little girl in the blue dress, and Flafiel seemed to have become their ”mentor for growth.”

That’s why they tried every method to please Flafiel.

Although Flafiel couldn’t understand their language, she understood their intent. But deciding whether to agree to their request was beyond her decision alone, so she looked towards Jon for guidance.

Jon didn’t mind; continuing to play was fine. However, just as he was about to nod, he heard Angel’s voice in his ear...

...

”No need.” Angel turned to Frode: ”You can let the Sin Hunting Group patrol the city first, no need to go to the Marine Theater. I’ll keep an eye on the theater side.”

Frode nodded and then looked at the City Lord Monroe.

”I’ll give the instructions now,” Monroe understood and was about to turn and leave.

However, at this moment, Angel stopped her: ”Wait.”

”The fog will soon pass, and when it clears, the City Lord can arrange for the people from the planning department to wait outside the Marine Theater.”

Planning department? Monroe looked puzzled, not knowing Angel’s intent.

Angel didn’t offer an explanation, instead using his ”Celestial Alternation” authority to manipulate an illusion, projecting what was happening at the Marine Theater in front of them—

In the current Marine Theater, the Dream Plant Fairies seemed to have understood that for Flafiel to continue her performance, they needed the nod of the pianist beside her, so they directed their pleading gazes at Jon.

Jon covered his mouth and coughed twice, catching everyone’s attention.

Under everyone’s gaze, Jon pointed a finger at the Void, and an illusion appeared in front of them.

—This illusion, naturally manipulated by Angel, only borrowed Jon’s hand.

In the illusion, Originheart City’s appearance was shown; however, due to the ravaging green mist, the city was overgrown with dense plants, making it resemble a city eroded by nature’s wilderness. Then, a team of humans and a few Dream Plant Fairies appeared in the illusion, working together to plan and adorn the rampant vegetation, bringing new life to this desolated city.

As the illusion played, Jon also said, ”You can agree to perform again, even diverging from ’Prayer to the Sea’ to perform other songs if you wish. But the Alien Clan must agree to one condition, which is to plan greenery for Originheart City.”

Although the Dream Plant Fairies couldn’t understand Jon’s words, they comprehended the intent of the illusion.

They looked at each other and nodded towards Jon.

Their ultimate goal was to bring new life to the barren land, so simply following the humans’ ideas to plan the location of greenery didn’t contradict their goal.

After receiving an affirmative answer, Jon turned to Flafiel: ”Since they have agreed, continue the performance. Consider it a celebration for the transformed Originheart City.”
