Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 790: Chapter 2 Awakening [Seeking Subscription]_3

He somewhat reluctantly shared his idea.

”Impossible, you know as well as I do, the Lord has been eyeing our Tantalum People’s technology for a while now. If he gets the chance this time, he will surely demand us to hand over loads of information. We can’t do that, these belongings are our ancestors’, we can’t just give them away!” The old man refuted Tang Eltangz’s words.

”So, should we kill this monster while it’s still asleep, just like we previously agreed upon?”

A woman who appeared to be in her twenties spoke up, but whether the ages of the Tantalum People correspond to the ages of Earth people is uncertain.

”Do you really believe it’s asleep? Maybe it has already woken up!” The old man glanced over at Jia Yan uncertainly.

”Ah?” The rest of them took a shocked step backward.

”Let’s observe for a few days. Tang Eltangz, since you’re the one who created this mess, you should deal with it. Water it for a few days and bring out your monthly energy quota. Put it next to him. If this strong creature is alive, it will surely react to the energy.” The elder finally came to a decision.

Everyone left the hall, except for Tang Eltangz who remained standing there with a glum expression on his face.

”Weird. How are you possibly still alive?”

Tang Eltangz looked over at Jia Yan.

But then, the antennae of Big Mosquito moved slightly!

He was so frightened that he wanted to run away, but when he calmed down, he found the beast still unmoving...

Tang Eltangz started tending to Jia Yan’s needs.

In reality, there wasn’t all that much to do. He just stood next to Jia Yan with some tech gadgets, stealing a glance from time to time.

Jia Yan found it amusing to observe this human-like creature at his side.

The creature barely looked twenty according to human standards and seemed to be at an age that loved to play.

Jia Yan watched as the boy brought in some tech gadgets he himself didn’t understand. The boy would sometimes wear a device, hover in mid-air, shout out loud, along with charging moves, until he was soaking in sweat. Then he would stop and switch games.

However, through his talks, Jia Yan learned some language skills.

The biggest gain was when one day this young man brought a book into Big Mosquito’s hall and even had the habit of reading it out loud.

Jia Yan’s eyes shimmered and he immediately studied the book the boy left behind that night!

Although it was a nonsensical novel, he had already learned a fair bit of the language during the day. After decoding, he could guess most of the content!

He finally felt ready to start communication!

The day on this planet was a bit longer than on Earth, equating to about more than two Earth days.

A few days passed, approximately a week on Earth.

On the first day, Jia Yan found that the young man placed a magical object next to him.

The item was a fan-like object, but when it was turned on, a faint flow of energy heat would emanate from it.

At first, Jia Yan didn’t understand how it worked until he saw the young man reluctantly block his body in front of Jia Yan’s and he himself absorbed the stuff. Jia Yan was then able to feel some part of this substance being absorbed by his body...

”The energy of us Tantalum People is very limited, I only enjoy it once a month. Just one time can replenish our energy for several days. We can even skip meals. If it weren’t for the elders, I wouldn’t be willing to let you use it!” Tang Eltangz said indignantly.

But Jia Yan ignored his words.

His shimmering compound eyes fixed on the energy device.

So, that’s how the aliens here get their energy?

Apparently, they also ate, from the way Tang Eltangz spoke, it seems they resort to eating because they lack sufficient energy for daily use and cannot solely depend on these sources of energy?

When Tang Eltangz turned on the device the next time, Jia Yan learned the method.

He released his Brainwave Power, causing all the ’energy material’ floating in the air to attach to his body surface...

Then he turned on a power inside his body that devoured them all!

This method of using energy was incredibly efficient!

But the energy was just a little too scarce!

Jia Yan luxuriated in the released energy and was oblivious that his actions had alarmed Tang Eltangz who was now staring at him fearfully!

It was not surprising that Jia Yan could devour all the jetted energy in an instant as any powerful being could do this. What surprised him was that the ’dead’ creature before him was actually alive!

”El...el...elder!”

He ran out in a panic.

Although Tang Eltangz made sense, when the previous elder appeared, Jia Yan remained motionless, making it hard for others to believe his words.

Finally, a week had passed!

At this point, Jia Yan could feel the power within his body slowly restoring to a level where he could engage in minor battles!

He decided to begin communication!

After all, a strong one like him couldn’t easily recover his energy. If he didn’t want to recuperate for decades or even centuries, Jia Yan needed to get up and find his own Energy Recovery material!

Also, after so many battles, Jia Yan felt like he was on the verge of his next evolution!

He wondered whether the evolutionary materials required for this transformation would be too high ranking and hard to find. After all, having reached the Star Space Level, the period of finding evolutionary material becomes difficult.

”Hello...Tantalum...People...”
