Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

This celestial body was so large that calling it a satellite would be an understatement; it was practically a planet. Its surface was a beautiful vivid blue; it was even bigger than Mercury, a small planet in the Solar System.

Its surface was grey, a shade darker than the Grey-Yellow Star where Jia Yan had previously been stationed, but it also hinted at a certain air of mystery.

”Well, they’ll definitely not overlook this place. Let’s set up our first line of defense here!”

Jia Yan was actually gambling. He was not only betting that the enemy would resupply at Jupiter but also that they might resupply on some of the Mother Star’s satellites. If he bet wrong, then this so-called ambush would turn into a joke.

However, due to the imbalance of information, Jia Yan was convinced that the Auster people’s Exploration Ship would likely land on Ganymede to seize resources.

The Earth Fleet suddenly sprang into action!

Approximately two hundred of their four hundred plus warships set course for Ganymede.

Jia Yan himself was also mixed in among them, flying towards Ganymede.

”Lord, I will take the remaining warships to the other blockade points. I wish you good luck in battle!” Kari’s somewhat anxious voice came through the communicator.

”Go.” Jia Yan did not give any words of encouragement. He knew that if any of his subordinates made a mistake, they would face an irrevocable hell. He believed that everyone was already aware of the danger of this battle, and they would not fail to give it their all!

Because of the great distance, their communication devices would lose connection with the rest of their divisions. The enemy’s interference could even disrupt communication between their own warships.

By that time, it would all come down to their on-the-spot combat abilities!

”Everything has been done to the best of our abilities, and the most crucial part of this war is me. I need to rest well and prepare for what could be the toughest battle I’ve ever faced,” Jia Yan thought as their fleet of warships neared Ganymede.

”As planned, fifty warships with construction capabilities will land on the planet and build artillery installations on the surface. The remaining one hundred and fifty warships will stand by fifty thousand kilometers away from Ganymede!” Jia Yan gave the command.

Since there were only a few skilled commanders among the Strong Ones, and they had all been assigned to other ambush points, Jia Yan had no choice but to command the two hundred warships himself.

The Earth Fleet quickly divided into several groups.

They had undergone countless rounds of tactical training and analyses – from Jia Yan to every warship member. Hence, everyone could understand Jia Yan’s commands quickly.

Fifty warships began to descend towards Ganymede in unison!

This was a celestial body with an atmosphere, but whether it had life was still a mystery; if life did exist, it wouldn’t be advanced intelligent life. Therefore, there was no concern that this war would disrupt the planet’s ecosystem.

Jia Yan looked at the fifty descending warships. If his hypothesis was correct, these fifty warships would suffer the greatest damage—they could even be completely destroyed!

Yet, they still resolutely landed. In fact, every member of the warships had written their wills. Despite knowing that if they were defeated here, Earth could be slaughtered by the enemy, they still penned their last wishes.

Perhaps it was a form of consolation.

”Alright, those brave warriors have descended. Let’s make our own arrangements. First up, use the excellent cloaking techniques we previously implemented on the delay fleets!”

Jia Yan knew that the invisibility capabilities of his warships were not particularly strong—in fact, they wouldn’t be able to avoid the Auster people’s eyes. Thus, he resorted to some unorthodox methods!

Since disguising as interstellar matter had worked before, he would thoroughly exploit this technique!

The only disadvantage Jia Yan had was limited time, which meant they could not camouflage their spacecraft into the interstellar matter as seamlessly as those in the Kuiper Belt.

However, it was a necessary endeavor!

”Everyone, according to the previous plans, start the concealment process. Good luck to all!” Once Jia Yan sent out this communiqué, his Compound Eyes also sparkled with resolution!

As he was rather small, he was less likely to be exposed. He immediately found a piece of pre-existing interstellar matter near Ganymede, used his strength to drill a large hole, and hid inside!

Fortunately, Jupiter had a massive number of celestial bodies in its belts. A slight change to their orbit was not very noticeable.

The warships took advantage of this, simulating basic interstellar matter as much as possible. They even dragged large pieces of interstellar matter from far away to serve as cover.

Everything proceeded smoothly.

However, time passed swiftly. On the seventh day after carrying out the series of operations...

”Lord, we have received a message from the Lords in charge of the Kuiper Belt warfare. The enemy may reach Jupiter in one day!” Kari sent a message beyond the distance to Jia Yan.

Jia Yan’s heart pounding, and his body shook as he heard this news!

He endeavored to keep calm, but he couldn’t hide his bubbling excitement!

He had made the long journey back to Earth from the Grey-Yellow Star for this very moment.

For this enemy, every person on Earth had been mobilized. They worked enthusiastically, time and time again. The entire planet’s future depended on this battle!

”Alright. Now order the entire army to shut down all communications, share the exact time of the enemy’s arrival, and each combat unit will act independently at that time.”
