Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 757: Chapter 26 Something’s Wrong! 【Seeking Subscription】_3

”To the battlefield!”

Big Mosquito looked very satisfied at the Earth Fleet which had started to look somewhat battle-ready. Their performance was no longer that of complete rookies. After all, their previous training had laid a solid foundation. After over ten hours of skirmishing, their attacks and retreats carried more semblance of order, so there was no need for Big Mosquito to demand too much more.

Although still rookies, they were now a group of rookies ready for battle.

However, just when Big Mosquito was feeling satisfied with the results of the practice drill and looking forward to tomorrow’s inter-ship exercises which would bring even more improvements, something happened!

”Lo... Lord, we’ve got trouble!”

Suddenly, a panic-stricken voice came through the communicator which had just been restored and was set to block out low-level communication, transmitting directly to Jia Yan.

”Hmm?!”

Jia Yan was puzzled; he rarely received communication requests. Even if there were significant incidents like research accidents, they would not contact him. So what could be more urgent than a research accident this time?

”Lord, there are... anomalies detected in Return City. One of our battleships seems to have rebelled and attacked Return City earlier!”

”What?!”

Jia Yan felt as if his head was spinning, his ears ringing. Without pausing, his huge body, which was originally planning to descend to the Moon, turned around!

And headed straight for Earth!

”Get it out! Tell me what happened!”

Jia Yan was almost losing his temper. At this moment, the ferocity within him seemed to transmit through the communicator, ready to tear the Earth Level Strongman on the other end, who was tasked with protecting Return City, apart!

”My... my, lord! It’s all due to my incompetence. I’m just an Earth Level Mid-term and couldn’t defeat that battleship. So...”

”So what?!” Jia Yan almost roared back.

”They’ve captured Princess Qi Qi! The other members of the Jia family are safe solely because I protected them from their clutches.”

”What?! You useless idiot! Where are they now?”

Jia Yan was on the verge of killing this subordinate. His Compound Eyes were almost emitting a terrifying red light!

However, he managed to suppress his anger, admitting that he had been careless. He had always thought that Earth was absolutely safe; not only was the government under his control, but there also couldn’t possibly be an existence achieving Earth Level, so he figured that an Earth Level Strongman, with expertise in construction ability, could both protect the family and contribute to city planning on Earth. But he was wrong!

Someone had taken advantage of the loophole in the drill, commandeered a battleship and attacked Return City!

The Earth Level Mid-term Strongman was able to rescue everyone except Qi Qi from that attack. His actions had been admirable.

”Speak! What happened exactly?! And the Moon Base, report to me! How could a battleship rebel? This is outrageous!”

As Jia Yan flew, he established communications channels to all relevant parties, ready to start holding people accountable!

The story goes back several hours earlier.

People of Earth were living contently in Return City.

Their lives now were incomparably better than they were a year ago. Despite occasional global work conscriptions, food and warmth were no longer problems for Earth people. The cultivation technology from the Outer Star could even cover the entire Grey-Yellow Star with plants. Imagine if they tailored this to Earth people’s preferences and cultivated food crops and increased animal breeding. That could easily support the present population of three billion!

With the development of the Moon Base and other locations, real estate prices on Earth, despite the recent reboot of the currency system, did not increase. In fact, because of developments in places like the Moon Base, Earth’s real estate prices plummeted to frighteningly low levels. This was because Earth people were thinking about using their money to buy houses on other planets in the future!

Wouldn’t living in a Mars city be more exciting?

The only exception was Return City, where real estate prices remained sky-high since the reboot of the currency system.

The reason was Lord Assassin, Earth’s highest authority and a member of the Giant Mosquito tribe, who frequently visited this city. Specific sightings of Lord Assassin were rare, indeed.

Moreover, rumors had it that the reason why Lord Assassin often visited this city was because it was home to the biggest object of his affection on Earth - the Jia family, about whom people had been speculating!

This rumored family, for some unknown reason, even addressed Lord Assassin as their family member!

And Earth people knew that getting close to such a family was just like getting close to Big Mosquito. If that was not a golden opportunity, then what was?!

so real estate prices here were always high.

However, it was unexpected that Return City, which everyone thought was safe, suffered a catastrophic attack the day after the Earth Fleet ascended to the sky.

A rebellious battleship from the Earth Fleet appeared out of nowhere and launched an attack on Return City!

The battleship’s Cannon System, albeit weak in the eyes of Big Mosquito or any other Extraterrestrial Strongman, was like a divine weapon when confronting Earth people!

When the battleship measuring a hundred meters in length appeared with the cannon fire pouring down like ’Rain’, the residents of Return City finally realized what was happening. They screamed in terror and scattered in all directions!

The threat of a battleship was simply too great.

Luckily, Return City had a newly established Defense System, and after several attacks, the battleship suffered damages!

It performed an emergency landing with its target being the heart of Return City, the rumored location of the Jia family: on top of a small hill!

The enormous hundred-meter long battleship landed outside the new Jia Family Castle which resembled a palace, covering the entire lawn!

”People of the Jia family, get onto the battleship right now, or else I’ll take action!”
