Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1524  Dragon Tooth Mountain City

Flying over the border of the Crimson Dragon Empire, it didnʼt take long before Xuan Hao realized that he had entered a completely different part of the Eastern Central Region compared to before.

The small settlements and cities ruled by different smaller powers disappeared. Instead being replaced by larger cities and towns that were very clearly under the control of a single power instead of multiple smaller ones.

Not just that, but Xuan Hao also noticed that the strength of the cultivators present suddenly increased by a lot, with Soul Ascension Realm cultivators becoming far more common and Dao Seed Realm cultivators being relatively easy to spot inside some of the larger cities.

Unfortunately for Xuan Hao, most of these cultivators were all part of the Crimson Dragon Empire and weʼre not someone he would be able to join the Star Shattering Sect.

Even if he could convince some of them with his current strength, he soubted that they would be loyal to the sect and would be more willing to believe that they just agreed to join the sect to act as possible spies for the Crimson Dragon Empire.

For this reason, even though there were a lot more Soul Ascension Realm cultivators appearing, he didnʼt end up recruiting anyone new to join the sect during the week it ended up taking him to go from the border of the Crimson Dragon Empire to the Dragon Tooth Mountain.

If anything, he almost ended up in a rather troublesome situation, as one of the Dao Seed Realm cultivators from the Crimson Dragon Empire almost ended up attacking him when he first crossed over the border of the Empire without first going through normal procedures of first making his presence known to the border guards

Luckily, he managed to convince the other party that he was just a wandering cultivator unfamiliar with the Crimson Dragon Empire and had been unaware that he had crossed the borders of the Empire.

In a sense, this was correct… And together with his cultivation only being in the Domain Lord Realm in the eyes of the Dao Seed Realm cultivator, he wasnʼt really viewed as someone who could potentially be a threat to the Crimson Dragon Empire. Allowing him to escape from the situation with a warning and by giving a few of his spirit stones.

Even if he could have escaped the situation without doing any of this, he had clearly already been noticed by the Crimson Dragon Empire and didnʼt want to create any more trouble for himself if he could get out of said trouble by parting with a few spirit stones.

Shaking his head a bit as he thought about his encounter with the Dao Seed Realm cultivator from the Crimson Dragon Empire, Xuan Hao made sure to keep himself within the designated safe paths while travelling through the Crimson Dragon Empire. Not wanting to accidentally end up having to deal with another person from the Crimson Dragon Empire if possible.

At the same time it was also to avoid walking into a dangerous place unknowingly, as there was no lack of locations that could pose a danger to someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm no matter which of the four Central Regions one found themselves inside of. Much less locations deadly to those in the Dao Seed Realm or below.

The Dragon Tooth Mountain was one such location, but it was far from the only one present in the Crimson Dragon Empire.

The main difference compared to other dangerous locations being that there was a clear opportunity in the form of the dragon blood crystals, while opportunities in other dangerous locations were far harder to come by and find.

In a sense, the dozen or so dangerous locations similar to the Dragon Tooth Mountain throughout the Eastern Central Region were similar in the way that they all had obvious and relatively easy to get opportunities or cultivation resources compared to other dangerous locations…

Arriving at the massive city located at the edge of the Dragon Tooth Mountain around a week since first steeping inside the Crimson Dragon Empire, Xuan Hao was left in awe at the sheet size of the city, as it surpassed anything he had seen so far that was not in the form of ancient ruins.

From a glance, a terrifying formation that should have been laid down by a formation master in the Saint Realm could be seen, while he could barely feel an even more terrifying presence in the depths of the city. Just barely revealing itself to intimidate anyone who might be bold enough to think about having any thoughts about the city or the Dragon Tooth Mountain behind it.

”Celestial Immortal Realm…”

Already familiar with the strength of the presence in the depths of the massive city, Xuan Hao understood that this terrifying presence belonged to someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm.

Not just someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm, but from the spatial fluctuations throughout the city and in the area around it preventing anyone from teleporting or use the Dao of Space to move around, it was clear that the other party was someone proficient in the Dao of Space. Having at least reached the Large Success Realm.

But… For someone like this, who was clearly not an ordinary Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator to be stationed at the Dragon Tooth Mountain, made Xuan Hao start to seourisly reassess the importance of the Dragon Tooth Mountain. At the same time also becoming far more curious about the dragon blood crystals, as it might have other uses than just the helping the refinement of the physical body.

Pushing his slowly growing curiosity regarding the dragon blood crystals down, Xuan Hao began to approach the city. Soon enough spotting a long line of people waiting to enter the city.

Given that there was a powerful Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator proficient in the Dao of Space and a formation created by someone with a higher comprehension than him in the Dao of Formations, Xuan Hao decided to obediently line up to enter the city this time around. Not daring to try his luck and sneak into the city.

All things considered, the guards, whose strength ranged between the Domain Lord Realm and the Soul Ascension Realm, were not enough to deter him and if it had just been the guards, he would have definitely tried to sneak inside the city.

The main reason for this was not just to avoid the long line of people, but more so to avoid paying the outrageous entrance fee.

The sheer wealth required to enter the city was something that even he, as a Late Stage Dao Domain Lord Realm cultivator, felt unwilling to part with.

The Domain Lord Realm and Soul Ascension Realm cultivators even more so, as Xuan Hao even witnessed a few of them almost break into tears as they handed over the exorbitant amount of spirit stones required to enter the city.

As for the few Nascent Soul Realm cultivators he spotted? They were either part of the Crimson Dragon Empire and didnʼt have to pay the entrance fee or they were wealthy young masters and ladies who didnʼt seem to care about the high entrance fee.

”Haaa… No other way to enter unless I want to reveal my strength at the Dao Seed Realm…” Muttering this to himself as he lined up together with the rest of the people waiting to enter the city, Xuan Hao could not hel seriously considering whether or not to reveal his strength at the Dao Seed Realm, as it was clear from what he had seen so far that cultivators at the Dao Seed Realm were able to enter the city without having to pay the exorbitant entrance fee.

However, the main thing that stopped him was not so much that he wanted to hide his strength, but more so that the one Dao Seed Realm cultivator he had seen enter the city so far, had almost instantly drawn the attention of the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator guarding the city.

Although he wasnʼt in the Northern Central Region any longer and there was little chance of his true identity being figured out, there was still a very real chance that he might be recognized by the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator.

After all, different from weaker cultivators whose information might be lacking and normally wouldnʼt be interested in seeking information outside the Central Region they lived in due to the price and difficulties involved in getting information that ultimately wouldnʼt really affect them, Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators would try to pay attention to the entire Central Region.

His hope so far regarding the Star Shattering Sect, was the fact that it was hard to get any information on his sect if one didnʼt specifically try to learn about it.

For the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators from Central Regions outside the Northern Central Region, it should be enough to learn about the Star Shattering Sect being an ancient hidden sect.

At least, Xuan Hao hoped that this would be the case…
