Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 248: Future Merger Between the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect

”So how was the idea I presented earlier…? Donʼt you think merging the Spring Flower Sect and the Flying Sword Sect together is a great idea!?”

Unknowingly, Shu Yao was already standing right besides Feng Chen as she pulled him back from whatever he was currently thinking about while looking over in the direction where Xuan Hao had broken through to the Domain Lord Realm.

”Hm? Ah! Are you even sure that the rest of the Spring Flower Sect will agree to go along with what you said…? Donʼt forget how you left the Spring Flower Sect back then to run away and adventure through the Sky Empire…”

Turning around and looking towards Shu Yao with a doubtful look on his face, Feng Chen stated his doubts regarding the merger between the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect.

He knew very well that Shu Yao had only returned to the Heavenly Sky Kingdom a few years ago and had not participated much at all when it came to the responsibilities of a sect master. Letting her elders do most of the work for her as she just did whatever she wanted… In some way, she was quite similar to Zu Fei…

”Haha, you donʼt need to worry about that at all! Donʼt forget that the Flying Sword Sect has a Domain Lord Realm Expert now! Even if they wanted to resist it in the past, now Iʼm one hundred percent sure that they will agree with it! And itʼs not like the Flying Sword Sect has a bad reputation or anything along that line, we have worked together quite a lot in the past after all…”

Laughing fearlessly at Feng Chenʼs doubts, Shu Yao hit herself on the chest as she proudly proclaimed this.

At first, she had indeed felt that some of the elders would resist the merger between the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect, but this all changed after Xuan Hao broke through and reached the Domain Lord Realm.

No matter what, the elders of the Spring Flower Sect would not resist becoming a part of a sect with such a strong person behind it! Especially given the fact that it was the Flying Sword Sect, that they had been on friendly terms with for several hundred years.

Even if the friendly relationship started out between Shu Yao, Feng Chen and Zu Fei, it had slowly developed to the point that the elders of both sects knew each other well and even met up from time to time.

The fact that the Flying Sword Sect had a lot of powerful female disciples and elders also helped with this.

Female cultivators, especially strong ones, were considered quite rare in the cultivation world. Most of the time, the sects and kingdoms were filled with elderly men, middle aged men and so on…

This was also one of the reasons why so many sects from the surrounding kingdoms, even sects stronger than the Spring Flower Sect, wanted to merge together with them…

It was hard for male cultivators, especially strong ones, to find a dao companion who was at the same realm as them…

”I see… If you can truly convince your elders to the merger, I am more than happy enough to agree with it! With both our sects merging together, we would also be able to expand our influence and begin setting up branches in the surrounding kingdoms after stabilizing. Ah! We would also need to find a place to construct the new sect… This place is way too small and wonʼt be able to house the sudden influx of disciples and elders, I think the Spring Flower Sect should be the same. Other than that, we also…”

The moment he got a confirmation that Shu Yao could get the merger agreed on her side, Feng Chen began to describe his plans with a certain shine in his eyes as he seemed to have completely forgotten the world around him.

Even the fact that Xuan Hao had reached the Domain Lord Realm seemed to fade from his mind as Shu Yao smiled helplessly while watching him come up with all sorts of plans to further expand the power of the sect after merging together with the Spring Flower Sect.

She even manged to hear a few plans on how to pay back the Raging Flame Sect… And they were quite… Colourful…

”Hah… Iʼm starting to feel a bit bad for the Raging Flame Sect…”

Mumbling this to herself as she looked out in the distance, Shu Yao could already imagine the fate of the Raging Flame Sect…

…

At the same time that Shu Yao and Feng Chen were going over the merger between the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect, the rest of the Flying Sword Sect momentarily entered a sect wide panic as the disciples all turned to look in the direction of the mountain range where Xuan Hao had broken through.

The elders could somewhat gauge the fact that the aura stemmed from someone above the Nascent Soul Realm and ended up coming to somewhat the same conclusion that the sect master had arrived at first. The only difference being the fact that they thought it was someone from the Sky Empire returning from the secret realm instead of going to the secret realm.

This in turn helped them relax a bit as they quickly went to calm down the disciples and had them return back to their lessons, combat practice and other activities.

Like this, the Flying Sword Sect slowly returned to its former peaceful state and the disciples eagerly discussed what had happened at the mountain range a few hundred miles away from the sect.

Some thought it was a great expert that had encountered a demonic cultivator and had ended up killing him. Resulting in the expertʼs aura leaking out into the surroundings.

Others thought that it might have been an eccentric expert that released his aura for fun while passing by to scare them on purpose and have a good laugh.

All in all, the disciple were not too worried about it as life in the Flying Sword Sect soon returned to normal.
