Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 235: Lizard Demon Beastʼs Sudden Increase in Strength!

”Hah… That took longer than I had expected…” Returning back to his own room, Chu Yang sat down on his bed as he began meditating.

To be honest, he had not expected that his master would suddenly bring a child back with him… But at least Bai Ning seemed like a good kid, so Chu Yang did not really have anything against it if he really ended up becoming his junior brother in the future.

At the very least he would no longer be considered to be the newest disciple under his master…

Thinking about all of the things that had happened today as he slowly slipped into a deep meditation for the night, Chu Yang felt his cultivation improving even faster than it had before as he felt like he was just about to breakthrough to reach the sixth stage of the Foundation Establishment Realm!

The night quietly passed, and Chu Yang woke up from his deep state of meditation, only to discover that he was completely covered in the black gooey substance that was a mix between the impurities expelled during a breakthrough a breakthrough in the Foundation Establishment Realm, along with his own sweat.

Unknowingly, he had broken through and reached the Sixth Stage of the Foundation Establishment Realm overnight!

”Agh! It smells so bad! I will have to take a bath before showing Bai Ning around the rest of the sect today!” Almost throwing up as he caught wind of the smell that the impurities and sweat on his body was making, Chu Yang almost threw up on the spot as he quickly ran to the bath located just beside his room to clean himself.

Luckily, no one was up yet, and Chu Yang soon came out of the bath and barely managed to clean up the mess he had left behind after breaking through before spotting Zhi Ruo suspiciously looking over towards him. Maybe having caught the disgusting smell from earlier.

No matter what, he would not allow Zhi Ruo to see the mess he had left behind after his breakthrough… It was simply too embarrassing for him to ask for her to clean it up. Even if it was her job to keep the pavilion clean…

”Hm… I thought I could smell something disgusting over here… Ah, Chu Yang! Did you perhaps notice the bad smell coming from here as well? Do you have any idea where it is coming from?” Walking over while muttering something in a muffled voice to herself, Zhi Ruo asked in a respectful tone while looking around at the surrounding enviroment.

”Haha, Iʼm sure itʼs nothing, I just happened to wake up and was on my way to show the child master brought back with him where the dining hall is located…” Laughing awkwardly as he felt the suspicious look of Zhi Ruo bearing down on him, Chu Yang came up with an excuse as he quickly ran away before Zhi Ruo could say anything.

”…”

Staring at the back of Chu Yang as he left, Zhi Ruo did not say anything and instead just narrowed her eyes even further before turning to look in the direction of his room where the bad smell from earlier had been coming from.

”Broke through a minor realm in the Foundation Establishment Realm…” Spotting a small spot stained by the blackish impurities that Chu Yang had failed to clean up after himself inside the room, Zhi Ruo immediately understood what had happened as she quickly made sure the room was spot clean for when Chu Yang returned again.

Nod Nod Nod~

Seeing everything was clean once again, Zhi Ruo did not say anything as she nodded her head in satisfaction with a smile on her lips as she observed the now spot clean room in front of her before turning around to leave.

No matter how hard Qing Yi and Chu Yang tried to clean up after themselves when they broke through, they would never come close to being as good at it as Zhi Ruo was!

…

Leaving behind Zhi Ruo as he made his way out of the pavilion as he waited for Bai Ning to show up, Chu Yang did not think about going to his room to wake him up and get him… After all, there was a high chance that he would end up getting lost on his way there and not be able to find his way out again…

Thinking about this, Chu Yang really wanted to reach the Nascent Soul Realm and gain a divine sense of his own… At least that way, he wouldnʼt be able to get lost anymore!

”Senior brother! Where are we going today?” As Chu Yang was thinking about how much easier life would get after getting his own divine sense, Bai Ning appeared in the entrance to the pavilion as he called out to Chu Yang before happily making his way over.

Yesterday, he had managed to make a new friend that was also really interested in blacksmithing like himself.

Other than that, he had also found out how great of an idea it was for him to join the Flying Sword Sect.

With all the different ores and other materials for blacksmithing in the Blacksmithing Hall, Bai Ning was sure that he would be able to easily be able to improve his skills and fully display the power of some of the blueprints that his late teacher had left behind for him!

”Ah, Bai Ning, you are here.”

Waking up from his thoughts, Chu Yang turned around and looked at Chu Yang before explaining where they would be going today.

”First, we will be visiting the dining hall to get something to eat for breakfast. After that I planned for us to visit the pagoda of enlightenment where the different cultivation mantras and other martial techniques of the sect are stored. Does that sound fine for you…?”

”No, that sounds great! I didnʼt manage to get much to eat yesterday, so I am quite hungry at the moment…” Nodding happily upon hearing about the dining hall, Bai Ning felt his stomach turn as he felt a sudden pang of hunger hit him.

”Great! Letʼs go then!”

Whoosh~

Before Bai Ning could even react, Chu Yang did not wait any longer and grabbed hold of him as he carried Bai Ning down the mountain towards the dining hall.

After experiencing the walk down, the mountain yesterday, he did not really want to waste too much time on it now that he already knew about it.

…

”Roar!”

At the same time that Xuan Hao was in closed door meditation breaking through and Chu Yang had made his way down towards the dining hall of the Flying Sword Sect together with Bai Ning, a large lizard demon beast that had suddenly appeared at the place where the entrance to the secret realm was located a few days ago roared loudly as it swept forth its giant claw like hand towards two floating human figures in front of it.

Bang!

The two human figures floating in the air barely managed to set up a few defensive barriers before they were hit by the giant claw of the lizard demon beast.

Fwoosh~ Boom!

The impact of the giant claw was simply too much for the human figures to handle as they were directly sent flying into a nearby hill, directly shattering it as the surroundings were devasted from the resulting shockwave.

ROAR!

Seeing the human figures fly far into the distance, the lizard demon beast roared happily as it returned to the location where the entrance to the secret realm was. Not following after the human figures and instead just leaving them alone after having knocked them away.

”Imperial Teacher!”

”Ancestor!”

General Liu and General Zhang quickly flew over and helped the two people up as the two figures revealed themselves to be the ancestor from the Onyx Empire and the Imperial Teacher from the Sky Empire.

”Hah… I really donʼt understand how that lizard managed to suddenly breakthrough during such a short time… Now only someone at the Soul Ascension Realm would be able to deal with it…” Shaking his head in disbelief as he stared towards the place that the entrance was located, the Imperial Teacher could still not truly believe that the lizard that they had fought inside the secret realm managed to escape and at the same time managed to breakthrough!

”At least our people managed to escape in time… But that damn lizard destroyed both our flying ships! Worst of all, we canʼt even kill that damnable creature!” Thinking about the extremely expensive flying ship that he had lost, Ancestor Bi Sheng could not help but curse as he stared in the direction of the lizard full of hatred.

”Haha, at least we are still alive! Me and General Liu will be taking our leave first, we still need to inform his majesty about the appearance of this lizard, and it also seems like the others already found out about the destruction of the secret realm…”? Laughing with a smile on his face when he saw Ancestor Bi Sheng suddenly throw a tantrum about the flying ship he lost, the Imperial Teacher and General Liu directly left the scene.

”Hmph! We will be leaving as well!” Thinking about what the Imperial Teacher had said before leaving, Ancestor Bi Sheng no longer wanted to stay around and directly left together with General Zhang.

For now, leaving was a top priority!

After all, both of them had Soul Enhancing Flowers on them that even Soul Ascension Realm cultivators wanted to get their hands on!

As for the people that came together with them? They could just get back on their own…
