Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 247: Feng Chenʼs Shock!

At the same time that Xuan Hao broke through and reached the Domain Lord Realm, every single person inside the Flying Sword Sect along with the people a few hundred miles around the mountain range that felt the terrifying aura that erupted from Xuan Hao the moment he reached the Domain Lord Realm.

”W-what is that!? Did one of the Sky Empires Domain Lords pass by!?”

The Sect Master of the Flying Sword Sect Feng Chen clearly felt the aura erupting a few hundred miles away and instantly knew that it was originating from someone above the Nascent Soul Realm.

Given the fact that he had just learned about a secret realm appearing, he was not wrong in guessing that it was a Domain Lord from the Sky Empire.

The Heavenly Sky Kingdom was after all, part of the Sky Empire and a secret realm had appeared at its border. Only a few days travel from the Flying Sword Sect for a normal Nascent Soul Realm Expert.

”No, I donʼt think it is anyone from the Sky Empire…”

Feng Chen had just finished stabilizing his cultivation and had only learned about the appearance of the secret realm and had not yet heard about the fact that it had collapsed, and a Domain Lord Realm demon beast came out and made a nest in the area where the entrance had been located.

”Hm? Shu Yao, why do you say so? Is it perhaps someone from another empire or power that want to get a part of the secret realm for themselves…?”

Curiously turning to look at Shu Yao standing a few meters away from him, Feng Chen could not think of anyone other than the Sky Empire that had experts at the Domain Lord Realm.

Even though the secret realm was bound to attract the attention of other powers on the same level as the Sky Empire, most of them would try to keep a love profile when inside the territory of the Sky Empire.

The aura that erupted from earlier, was one of the farthest things from ʼkeeping a low profileʼ that Feng Chen could think of…? And with that, he concluded that the other party was most likely someone from the Sky Empire.

”I think that it might have been Elder Xuan breaking through to the Domain Lord Realm…”

Saying this, Shu Yao also felt a bit surprised as she did not expect breaking through to the Domain Lord Realm would cause such a large commotion.

It was not wrong to say that the happenings today would soon spread out across the entire Heavenly Sky Kingdom and the surrounding kingdoms!

”Elder Xuan!? When did he reach the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm!? And he even broke through and became a Domain Lord!”

Staggering a bit backwards due to the sheer surprise from the news of Xuan Hao having reached the Domain Lord Realm, Feng Chen found it a little hard to believe.

After all, even if Xuan Hao was considered a genius, there should still be a limit to it!

By this point, it had taken Xuan Hao only a little over a year to go from the first stage of the Nascent Soul Realm all the way up to the Domain Lord Realm!

Feng Chen suddenly felt a bit depressed when he felt his own cultivation at the Ninth Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm… And he had just been so happy that he managed to go directly from the seventh stage to the ninth stage…

”Hah…”

Letting out a depressed sigh upon thinking about this, Feng Chen soon shook his head.

No use thinking about comparing myself to someone like that, I will only end up disappointed in my own progress… At least the Flying Sword Sect is stronger! With Elder Xuan now at the Domain Lord Realm, we will also be able to easily deal with those damned people from the Raging Flame Sect!

Thinking about this, Feng Chen felt a rush of excitement as he thought about finally being able to get revenge on the Raging Flame Sect and taking back their spirit stone mine.

Feeling jealous over Xuan Hao breaking through to the Domain Lord Realm was of no use and Feng Chen did not want to go down that route either.

Shu Yao watched him lost in thought from the side and a small smile appeared on the corners of her lips as she understood the thought process Feng Chen was going through even without him saying anything.

Feng Chen was indeed a great sect master, even if he was not the strongest in the Flying Sword Sect any longer, Shu Yao clearly knew that Feng Chen would put his all into making sure that the Flying Sword Sect was safe and continued to grow even stronger in the future.

Compared to some other sect masters out there, that did their best to make sure that nobody in the sect grew stronger than themselves and could potentially pose a threat to their position.

Other than that, such sect masters would also channel all of the sectʼs precious resources into themselves to further increase their own cultivation.

When she had been out travelling around the Sky Empire in the past, Shu Yao had heard many of such cases from her group of friends.

In some cases, the elders or even sect masters, would even kill off the good seedlings to ensure they could keep their own position intact!𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

Shu Yao failed to understand how such sects could ever grow stronger or bigger than they already were in the first place, and it was also one of the reasons why she had ended up wanting to merge with the Flying Sword Sect over other and stronger sects… Well, stronger than them in the past…

With someone like Xuan Hao supporting the sect and Feng Chen leading the sect, Shu Yao felt her desire to convince Feng Chen about merging the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect grow even more!
