Charm point maxed out, inheriting game assets

Chapter 1047: Chapter 419: Deep Bonds of Sisterhood (Part 4)

”Yes!” Wei Pingjun placed the document in front of the two people, ”As founders, you both have preemptive rights to purchase according to the company’s charter, so we must inform you. You can take a look, if you forgo purchasing, Win-win Technology will acquire the 14% equity held by Mr. Hou.”

Shen Yuyan took a deep breath, her expression changing several times.

If they acquired this 14%, Win-win Technology would hold 44.4% of the company’s equity.

Although it doesn’t reach an absolute control of more than 50% of the shares, it has a veto power on major issues.

It greatly affects the company’s development direction and major decisions.

Hou Shaoyuan looked at Shen Yuyan and smiled, ”If you want to buy it, you can do so at a valuation of 20 million yuan, totaling 2.8 million yuan.”

Shen Yuyan gritted her teeth, a deep sense of powerlessness overwhelming her.

She really couldn’t come up with that much money, not to mention 2.8 million, even 200,000 she couldn’t afford.

It was even more impossible for Zhang Tianqi to offer that money.

Not to mention he was in the process of taking over the family business, even if he was still the general manager of Youjie Housekeeping, he wouldn’t acquire this equity because it’s indeed not worth it.

Moreover, he most likely didn’t have that much money either.

Zhang Tianqi, although a rich second generation, came from a family running a food factory, which belongs to the real economy, high in value but poor in cash flow, plus he has other siblings, so the money from the family was limited.

Originally, it was due to a lack of funds that Zhang Tianqi partnered with her to run Youjie Housekeeping, sought investment from Hou Shaoyuan, and earned some extra money using his uncle’s connections.

Looking at each other, Shen Yuyan said softly, ”Shaoyuan, how about we talk alone?”

Hou Shaoyuan shook his right index finger, ”No need, I’ve already reached an agreement with Win-win Technology. I’ve been quite short of money lately, so I can only cash in this part of the asset. I hope you understand.”

Shen Yuyan and Zhang Tianqi exchanged a glance, and she said bitterly, ”We forgo the preemptive right to purchase. Congratulations to both of you.”

Seeing Shen Yuyan’s expression, a rush of revengeful pleasure came over Hou Shaoyuan, and a big smile appeared on his face.

The past two investments were ultimately aimed at winning over Shen Yuyan’s heart.

And at Lanfeng International, seeing Shen Yuyan’s attitude towards Tang Song, he felt very annoyed.

Now he finally felt at ease.

...

Returning to the general manager’s office.

Looking at the hesitant Zhang Tianqi, Shen Yuyan shook her head, ”You don’t need to explain, I understand your difficulties.”

Zhang Tianqi comforted, ”Don’t worry too much, we together still hold more than 50% of the equity. Since Win-win Technology is willing to spend money to buy Hou Shaoyuan’s equity, it shows they have confidence in Youjie Housekeeping.”

”Yes, I know.” Shen Yuyan nodded slightly, ”Tianqi, you go ahead. You just started as the deputy general manager at the new plant, surely there are a lot of things to handle.”

”Alright, goodbye.” Zhang Tianqi sighed and turned to leave.

He knew this School Beauty Shen too well; with her pride and ambition, being suddenly betrayed by Hou Shaoyuan, she must be deeply pained inside.

However, in this aspect, he couldn’t offer much help.

Watching Zhang Tianqi’s figure disappear.

Shen Yuyan bit her silver teeth tightly and grabbed a useless document next to her, tearing it into shreds with a ”rip-rip”.

After venting a bit.

Shen Yuyan kicked off her high heels, sat cross-legged on the chair, picked up her phone, and dialed her best friend’s number.

She spilled everything that happened today and her current situation all at once.

On the other end of the line, Xu Qing played the perfect supportive role, using exaggerated and playful tones to soothe her emotions, just like in all those past years.

When Shen Yuyan finally stopped speaking.

Xu Qing fervently thumped her small chest, ”Don’t worry, didn’t you say Tang Song knows the boss of Cloud Stream Property? Tomorrow night I’ll talk to Tang Song about it and ask him to help you settle it.”

Shen Yuyan paused for a moment, ”Are you having a date with a colleague tomorrow night?”

”Uh...” Xu Qing’s voice paused a bit, somewhat shyly said, ”Well, Yanyan, I forgot to tell you, tomorrow night I’m going to take private photos with Tang Song, and if it’s too late I won’t be coming home.”

Hearing Xu Qing’s words, Shen Yuyan blurted out, ”Do you want me to go with you, actually I can do cosplay too.”
