Chapter 1018: Chapter 412: Upheaval at Gathering Emotion Gold, I Love You_3

Excited for quite a while, Lin Muxue quickly categorized and organized the due diligence information and sent it to Tang Song’s email.

After finishing these tasks, she went online to look up the “Yan Province International Clothing Exhibition.”

Although she couldn’t do much for the time being, if given the chance, she still wanted to meet Wen Qiuyue.

To meet this enemy as the “successful” Lin Muxue she is today.

Her eyes scanned through the lines of information on the webpage.

Soon, she had a general understanding of the exhibition’s details.

Basically, well-known clothing enterprises from Yan Province would participate.

The reason for including the word “International” is because Meigou Technology is among the organizers.

This time, the Yan Province government invited Meigou mainly to promote more cooperation between clothing enterprises in Yan Province and Meigou through this exhibition.

Meigou Technology is a fast-fashion cross-border e-commerce company, backed by Smile Holding, with business services covering more than 150 countries and regions worldwide.

It has branches and subsidiaries in several countries and regions domestically and internationally.

Especially in the past 3 years, it has developed rapidly and become the most valuable enterprise under Smile Holding.

Last year, it had a net profit of $3 billion, ranking fourth on the global Unicorn list, with Douyin, SpaceX, and Ant ahead of it.

The reason for understanding this clearly is that Tang Song entered this company right after graduating from university.

And it happened to be during the 3 years when Meigou Technology soared.

Thinking of this, Lin Muxue couldn’t help but fantasize, it would be great if Tang Song was also a shareholder of Meigou.

As far as she knew, Meigou is currently Jiaxin Group’s largest purchaser.

By then, as Tang Song’s assistant, she could directly overpower Wen Qiuyue! She definitely wouldn’t dare say a word!

Even her dad, who is the chairman, would have to endure it obediently!

Hahaha!

Getting excited, Lin Muxue squeezed her legs together, feeling somewhat the urge to pee.

However, this is something she could only fantasize about.

Such global Unicorn enterprises are backed by large capital consortiums, and even if one has money, it’s hard to get involved.

However, the trustee of Gathering Emotion Gold, “Kate Trust,” is indeed one of Meigou’s shareholders.

While she was lost in her thoughts.

“Knock knock knock—” The sound of knocking suddenly echoed.

Lin Muxue quickly sat up straight, her voice steady, “Please come in.”

Soon after, her colleague Kylie (Zhang Lili) walked in.

“Not busy, Luna?”

“Not busy, is there something you need?”

Zhang Lili paced beside the office area, whispering, “I just heard from colleagues working at Kate Trust over in Xiang River that our Slover Trust Yan City branch might undergo significant changes, do you know about this?”

Hearing this, Lin Muxue was taken aback, barely suppressing her inner panic, she asked, “I don’t know, what kind of change?”

“I don’t know the specifics either, just know that most employees will change their contract entities, leave Slover Trust, and join a professional investment institution. This was arranged personally by Ms. Kate, so it should be true.”

“Ah!” Lin Muxue let out a low cry, her face a bit pale.

Her biggest confidence right now comes from her identity as the Committee Assistant.

Including her influence at Lanfeng International Hotel and Yannan Short Drama Base, all stem from being Tang Song’s assistant.

If this is gone, she truly doesn’t know what she would do.

Zhang Lili pursed her lips and continued, “Actually, we were all prepared for this; Gathering Emotion Gold, as a Family Trust, doesn’t manage that much capital, a branch is unnecessary.

We, who were poached here, usually do research, risk control, reviews, while managing a small number of projects.

Investment could actually be fully entrusted to Kate Trust, the office could just keep the equity services department.”

Lin Muxue bit her lip, “Then what about me…”

“I think you don’t need to worry about this, you’re a senior assistant to the committee, mainly responsible for Chairman Tang and these committee members; even if investment personnel are withdrawn, you will surely stay.”

Lin Muxue took a deep breath, “I’ll talk to Chairman Tang later to see what’s really going on.”

She hadn’t thought much about it before, just felt the benefits at Gathering Emotion Gold were awesome, and the work extremely easy.

Now thinking about it, it’s indeed a bit abnormal.

Including people like Zhang Lili, true financial elites, were dispatched to Yan City only in the past year.

And here is just a branch, not even considered a subsidiary.

Having these elites here could be considered a waste of talent.

However, if all these people leave, leaving only the equity services department.

Then she, as this so-called financial elite, would be a name without substance, and she wouldn’t have colleagues to flaunt.

“Yeah, I just wanted to let you know in advance, to be honest, I’m really reluctant.” Zhang Lili commented emotionally, “Even though we haven’t known each other for long, I’ve always treated you as my best friend.”

As she spoke, her eyes became a bit moist, and she stepped forward to hug Lin Muxue.

As for how much of it was acting, and how much was genuine emotion, she herself didn’t know.

As she said, Lin Muxue is a senior executive in the company, one of the top contacts she currently has.

…

“Bang—” The office door closed gently.

Lin Muxue sat disoriented in her small office, feeling cold all over, her mind unraveling.

She hadn’t forgotten why she managed to enter Gathering Emotion Gold initially.

Originally, Tang Song implied for her to help Qianqian with career planning and development.

Her recruitment was as Qianqian’s internal liaison.

Only later, somehow she joined the due diligence team, becoming Tang Song’s assistant bit by bit.
