Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3146 Invoking The White

Fairy Thunderblaze was intrigued by Davis.

He seemed to have the craziest ideas that she wouldnʼt dare try, for she knew that she would meet with death, but back then, the method that he used to create a pill was actually viable for her as well as she had enough prowess, so she wanted to know the secret method that she could try it and collect annihilative heavenly flames by herself.

However, he refused, which she couldnʼt say anything about.

Besides, he didnʼt try this method himself, which made her doubt if he was lacking in alchemy knowledge or if he didnʼt want to increase his karmic burden by offending the heavens again or perhaps both. Either way, she knew she wasnʼt going to acquire this secret method, so she decisively chose to borrow his lightning spirit for cultivation.

”You made me remember something that I thought about way back then but forgot about it since it wasnʼt achievable back then, but now, I could try. You have my gratitude, but still, I wonʼt give you Eldia.”

”…”

Fairy Thunderblaze narrowed her brows.

At the most, she was only going to bathe in Eldiaʼs powers and temper her body while understanding the intricacies behind it, succeeding in comprehending annihilative heavenly lightning twice or thrice the speed.

She was the one who would be harmed in the process, so she imagined Davis would throw himself at that prospect, but he still refused to share Eldiaʼs powers with her, which made her confused.

”Do you not hate me?”

”Hate?”

Davisʼs lips curled as though he heard something funny.

”The number of people that I hate, thereʼs only a few alive, and theyʼre not here.”

Davis remembered the three vile characters from the true immortal world.

Accursed Warlock Fraser Herrion, Vile Enchanter Kieran Hartley, Wicked Tamer Jaxon Harrow. These three had completely infuriated him for different reasons, and if he ever saw them somewhere while he reached a stage where he was too powerful for them to handle, he definitely wouldnʼt leave them alive.

Other than them, the hate award goes to the Fire Phoenix Clan and the Cyan Soul Rat Clan, but for that, he would have to commit genocide, so he could not easily make the decision for it.

As for Patriarch Killian Zenflame, he was just a walking corpse to him since he had full control over his life and death.

On the other hand, Fairy Thunderblazeʼs gaze slightly shook. She turned around, looking towards the core region where the apocalyptic flames blazed as high as some mountains a few thousand meters tall. The terrifying notion that they may spread at any moment didnʼt change, but as far as she could see, they were currently just swaying around like a house that caught on fire, never to spread beyond its region.

”Sigh… I never thought I would find myself in the true immortal world this soon, and this realm is going to end. I do know alchemy and forging a bit, but after seeing your women I looked down upon in action, I have to say that Iʼm humbled.”

Fairy Thunderblaze appeared to smile, ”The world is full of interesting things. I wouldnʼt have imagined that someone could surpass me by two levels in the same realm before I went to sleep in the Heavenly Stasis Ice Valley, but now I see that Iʼm nothing but a frog in a well.”

She turned to look at Davis, a mocking smile emerging on her face.

”As for you, I only wish that you donʼt die because that would truly be a pity.”

Giggling lightly, she took a step to the side and flew away, leaving Davis a bit confused.

Was she sarcastically wishing that he would die, or was she warning him that he should not absorb apocalyptic flames?

Either way, he shook his head, wondering how long she would be willing to take orders from him before scheming something wicked.

After he watched her leave, Davis sat cross-legged on a mountain peak again.

Before he started improving his physique, he began to recover the soul force he lost just a while ago by continuing to refine soul essences. He had plenty in store, so he was not worried about using them all anytime soon. After regaining his soul force, he conditioned his mental state to be at the peak as much as possible before pulling out an annihilative heavenly flame wisp.

However, this flame wisp was more sophisticated than the other two wisps for none other than the reason that it held the remnant Will of the annihilative heavenly flame dragon.

Davis looked at it closely.

Naturally, he had refined it and would subdue it when absorbing the lightning strands, but this time around, he actually obtained a remnant Will that was in its dormant state.

Back then, he had theorized how Spirit Attribute Sources were born, and even Eldia had speculated that it was because of heavenly Will remaining in the earth of the heaven and earth, allowing it to sprout forth an earthly being, an earthly spirit attribute source.

Davis imagined that this must also be the case for Heaven-Tier Spirit Attribute Sources, whose existence was way superior to Earth-Tier Spirit Attribute Sources, speculating that they are born with far more power because there was an extraordinary amount of Will behind their birth.

”Fallen Heaven, do you get my idea?”

Davis asked inwardly, waiting for its reply.

”Are you insane? You saw how creating a pill with sentience and the ability to cultivate brought down an annihilative heavenly tribulation. Do you understand what would become of this annihilative heavenly flame wisp if you used my life energy to accelerate its Will into a new spirit? Besides, you might lack the necessary portion to find the right balance in your new physique if this fails.”

”…”

Davis blinked, not expecting Fallen Heaven to give him so many warnings.

Nevertheless, he smiled.

”I already considered these matters. If an annihilative heavenly tribulation descends again, it wonʼt be more powerful than my Immortal Emperor Tribulation, so Iʼm not afraid.”

Interfering was different than starting the tribulation when it came to heavenly tribulation. One was considered utter disrespect, and the other was completely based upon what brought down the heavenly tribulation, a response to maintain the balance of the universe, so Davis wasnʼt worried that it would be as strong as his Immortal Emperor Tribulation.

Utmost, he imagined that it would be stronger than Myriaʼs Immortal Emperor Tribulation, but he considered even that an exaggeration since he knew this wisp wouldnʼt be so powerful.

In fact, he knew that the only thing he would have to worry about was karmic burden, but what was this place?

This was the Astral Forgeheart Lower Realm, where supreme geniuses were teeming around, and he was confident that he could plunder karmic sin and karmic virtue from them and enshroud himself in third-tier karmic virtue, allowing him to reduce his karmic burden to an optimal level where he could handle it.

”If you say so, but… be careful.”

Fallen Heaven replied, causing Davis to turn confused.

When had Fallen Heaven ever told him to be careful with a worried voice?

However, he didnʼt know that it was afraid.

In fact, it felt more afraid than him since it was not feeling good with the heavens Will appearing here and there. It had never imagined that it was being pampered in the First Haven World, free of suppression.

”Then let us begin~”

Davis invoked the white tendrils of Fallen Heaven, causing a sacred and pure life energy to flow out of his palms as they covered the annihilative heavenly flame wisp.

But instead of refining it, the life energy started weaving and oscillating inside the flame wisp, causing a white dot to appear at the center. It kept getting bigger as though multiplying the remnant Will that would usually roar in defiance when absorbed, but now, he saw that it was nothing but patient, perhaps even greedily absorbing the life energy.
