Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3120 Rank

”Sky Flipping Cauldron~”

Dalilaʼs voice echoed out harmonically as she gazed at the annihilative heavenly flame dragon become trapped in between the big crimson cauldron and the crystalline cerulean pill. They folded the annihilative heavenly flame dragon in a yin-yang diagram, causing it to be restricted despite its flailing.

*Aooo!~*

The annihilative heavenly flame dragon roared in a fury, its gaze falling on someone other than Epsila and Tyriele as it fell on Dalila. It seemed to have understood that this woman was a threat to its life, causing it to roar at her.

”…!”

Dalila trembled as her crazed expression went pale.

The tyrannical pressure from the annihilative heavenly flame dragon was just too much for her to endure. Without Epsila, she would barely be able to maintain consciousness. Blood dripped from her lips as she seemed to have bit her tongue to allow her to stay awake. Furthermore, she seemed to have sacrificed some blood essence as veins appeared all over her body, an indication of straining herself.

ʼThis is not enough…ʼ

But despite sacrificing her blood essence, she felt like she would be unable to maintain this balance for two more breaths, causing her to clench her teeth and burn her soul essence.

Simultaneously, Dalilaʼs eyes turned bloodshot.

She felt vertigo fill her soul, causing her to not know what is left and right. Her head swayed, almost causing her to lose balance. A ridiculous chill shot up her spine, making her feel like she was going to die of exhaustion.

ʼAll this for sacrificing fifteen percent of my soul essence…?ʼ

Dalilaʼs heart churned, knowing that Davis had sacrificed more like it was nothing to him. Although he could restore her soul essence, the pain accompanied by burning her soul essence made her just want to give up on life. Her soul not only was experiencing pain at this moment but was also vulnerable, reduced to a tiny figure underneath the terrible pressure from the annihilative heavenly flame dragon.

”Shut up!”

Clenching her hands, Dalila roared as blood sprinkled from her mouth.

The annihilative heavenly flame dragon roared again in response as though it couldnʼt accept this insult, but no matter how it tried, it was unable to move as it pleased. Its movements were sealed, and its energy was suppressed by Tyrieleʼs strong cauldron body that could withstand the incredible heat of the annihilative heavenly flame dragon somehow, while Epsila practically surrounded the dragon with her soul energy, disallowing it to escape.

It seemed that her Will was on par with the annihilative heavenly flame dragonʼs Will at this moment. Otherwise, the restrictive hold they achieved wouldʼve collapsed in a second.

*Rumble!~*

The skies trembled, releasing a low growl filled with outrage.

This was a humiliation. The tribulationʼs attacks were not being treated with respect and fear but manhandled, causing it to growl.

However, the dark crimson-gold clouds filling the expanse began to retreat. The otherworldly tension started decreasing as the tyrannical aura also began to feel tamer by the second.

”The tribulation has ended…”

Myriaʼs eyes squinted at the apocalyptic skies as the weather was returning to normalcy. Due to covering hundreds and thousands of kilometers, it was slow in dispersing, but regardless, she knew the tribulation had ended.

It was rather anti-climatic as the two heavenly flame strikes were still left trying to devour Tyriele while the annihilative heavenly flame dragon tried to extinguish Epsilaʼs spirit. They couldnʼt disperse unless they eradicated their targets or ran out of energy, whichever was first.

ʼIncredible…ʼ

However, Myria couldnʼt help but think as she saw Dalilaʼs wonderful artwork using Tyriele and Epsila, not knowing where she gained the inspiration to enact this move that required immense focus as well as an advanced understanding of Yin and Yang Laws.

ʼShe actually used the cauldron to swim into Epsilaʼs energy so that Tyrieleʼs physical body could become a barrier that disallows the annihilative heavenly flame dragon from being able to leave as all it could do now was heat the cauldron, but was there a need to do that when she couldʼve let the barrier deal with the annihilative heavenly flame dragon since it already seemed to be holding up well against the first two heavenly flame strikes?ʼ

Myria looked at Dalila remaining in Tyrieleʼs barrier that the latter left when they shifted.

The barrier was going to be melted any moment now, which would end up incinerating Dalila if no action was taken as she was the most vulnerable right now, but despite that, she still seemed to be focused on restricting the annihilative heavenly flame dragon from moving even a single inch.

*Sizzle!~*

ʼNot good…ʼ

Myriaʼs gaze flickered as she noticed the annihilative heavenly flame dragon suddenly pull a move.

It opened its mouth, trying to absorb the heavenly flames stuck on Dalilaʼs barrier, trying to strengthen itself. However, only a portion of the annihilative heavenly flames flew to it while the rest remained, incinerating Tyrieleʼs barrier that was now protecting Dalila.

Within one or two seconds, she would be burned to ashes if left alone.

*Rumble!!!~*

Just as she was about to take action, Myria saw a purple-robed figure appear above the scorched space.

His domineering figure loomed over the annihilative heavenly flame dragon, which actually came to a pause in devouring heavenly flames as it stared at him. Its vindictive eyes seemed to know what he was going to do as it shook in trepidation while the tribulation clouds dispersing almost came to a stop as it released a furious growl.

*Aooo!~*

The annihilative heavenly flame dragon roared at Davis in retaliation. It recognized the danger he posed, causing it to struggle.

However, Davis merely glared at it before descending towards Dalila.

He stepped over the barrier protecting her, causing it to shatter. Instantly, the annihilative heavenly flames burning it fell on Dalila, but before they could reach her, they were encased by pure white energy, which caused the aggressive flames to suddenly flicker and sway a bit slower as though they were being tamed.

Two seconds later, they were already as silent as a wisp of flame burning on a candle without any movements whatsoever.

At the same time, Davis appeared before Dalila, holding her with both his arms as he princess carried her.

”I believed you would come...”

Looking at her smiling expression, his eyes remained serene, not understanding why she would take such a risk for her until she opened her mouth. Dalila caressed his cheek with her burned palm, which he held with care before her head drooped back as she fainted.

Davisʼs heart shook.

He felt undeserved of such dedication and affection as this sweet woman, whom he had not paid much attention to compared to others, was too hard-working and endearing.

Nevertheless, he quickly placed a finger on her forehead and began healing her. His reincarnation soul force split into life energy and quickly entered her soul sea, beginning to soothe her psyche while the soul force also flowed to her body, causing the painful red burns to disappear as though they had never existed before.

He held her closely, not saying anything while he kept the annihilative heavenly flame dragon waiting.

*Bang!~*

The annihilative heavenly flame dragon finally slapped Tyriele away before springing up to Epsila with its jaws wide. It was going to swallow it any moment, causing Epsila to shudder.

However, she unleashed a wave of pure soul force at the annihilative heavenly flame dragon, causing it to come to a stop mid-air before it was sent flying!

”Ah, master!”

Epsila quickly flew in fear as she appeared behind Davis and flew around him, seeking shelter.

Davis couldnʼt help but lightly smile, ”Why are you afraid when you can deal with it by yourself?”

”Master, that dragon is scary… its aura has a suppressive might that disallows me to be steady…”

Davis couldnʼt help but shake his head as he heard Epsila complain cutely while she possessed a prowess that would even have his Lea and Nadia troubled a bit. His creation- no, Dalilaʼs recreation, was now powerful as a Kingly Monarch even without having entered the Exalted Tier completely yet.

After all, according to Myria, a pure sign of a pill entering Exalted-Tier is that it would gain a fleshly body and possess the ability to cultivate like a spirit.

However, Epsila still remained a pill. At least she hadnʼt transformed into any drop-dead gorgeous beauty yet.

*Aooo!~*

The annihilative heavenly flame dragon roared at Epsila. It remained hovering in the skies for two seconds before finally making the decision to attack Davis, who interfered. The crimson-golden clouds also shuddered, but despite their fury, they appeared to take no action.

ʼSeems like it has to follow rules even in its own backyard…ʼ

Davis also recognized that the tribulation clouds werenʼt sending him any new attacks, although they seemed to be dispersing extremely slowly as though it was a person looking back vindictively after getting beaten up black and blue, intending to seek vengeance later.

He merely chuckled and raised his hand.

A pure white palm emerged out of his hand, slapping the annihilative heavenly flame dragon, which caused it to shudder.

Its Will shattered under his frightening soul force that was way out of its current prowess, leaving behind its remnants that were not being tamed and refined under his life energy.

Davis dropped his hand and moved his gaze away as he looked down, unable to believe what she had just done.

All this was possible because of the woman he held in his arms in a princess carry. She staked all her actions on one thing: to present these heavenly entities to him as a gift, as she knew the heavens wouldnʼt send any more heavenly strikes once the tribulation was over, but for that, she had to unearth her wits, and come up with a method that would allow all four of them to survive despite carrying the risk of turning to ashes in a single second.
