Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2327 Heavenly Resources?

”Finally, we have an immortal capable of vast destruction.”

Evelynn smiled assuredly as she looked at Eldia before Davis nodded to her comment.

It must be known that a Purgatory Extinction Lightningʼs ultimate move was to bring down annihilation in dozens of kilometers of radius after expending all its energy, and now that Eldia had achieved immortality, he assumed that her terrifying aspect that she never got to show had only improved beyond his comprehension.

”Yes~” Eldia joyfully answered and reported to him the discoveries she made when her body shed mortality.

Davis became surprised to hear that now all three of her cultivation systems enhances simultaneously. That oddly seemed in line with the Transcendent Path of humans as he had heard that it connects all three cultivation systems from Myria, but nevertheless, he shared with them the information he collected.

”Thatʼs alright, but what spirit race and grade do Eldia belong to? Could she be considered an Immortal Grade Spirit? Are there Immortal Grade Elemental Charts?”

Evelynn couldnʼt help but ask curiously, causing Davis to hold his chin as he thought for a few seconds.

”This is according to Founder Alstreim Windstorm as I asked him for more information on spirits, but apparently, it is said that all Spirit Attribute Sources from Mortal Grade to Emperor Grade are considered Earth-Tier Spirit Sources. This applies to Spirits and Spirit Attribute Sources that have become Spirits. Theyʼre all considered Earth-Tier without a doubt, and their ranking is what determines their nobility or rather, their prowess is what determines their nobility and, in turn, become ranked under the perception of the world.”

”For instance, Founder Alstreim Windstorm said that the Windstorm Binding Wisp ranked second in the Emperor Grade Wind Elemental Charts, is capable of unleashing a prowess thatʼs two levels higher. If it became a pure Windstorm Binding Spirit, then it is capable of unleashing a prowess thatʼs three levels higher and possibly even four levels higher if it perfected its Body Tempering Cultivation.”

”The same thing could be said about the first ranked Regal Sky Gale Wisp and the Regal Sky Gale Spirit, except they are more powerful than the second-ranked Windstorm Binding Spirit.”

”Ah~”

Davis, Nadia, and Eldia couldnʼt help but nod as they understood, but Davis continued.

”Another example is that I fought an Unrestrained Lightning Heir, ranked second- no, fourth in the Emperor Grade Lightning Elemental Charts in the First Haven World. Despite being a mature spirit rather than a source, it was only able to unleash a prowess thatʼs two levels above. Clearly, this Earth-Tier Lightning Spirit was ranked fourth, and it was unable to compare to a Spirit Attribute Source thatʼs ranked second in terms of prowess. Thatʼs how much the difference separates the top three, and their limits are plain to see.”

”The same way, our Eldia is a Purgatory Extinction Lightning Spirit, ranked third in the Grand Beginnings Continent but ranked sixth in the First Haven World. Her prowess would not exceed three levels higher even if she maxes out her cultivation and strengthens them to her innate potential.”

”Then how did Eldia become this powerful?” Evelynn couldnʼt help but incline her head in confusion, ”Wasnʼt it because of absorbing heavenly lightning?”

”She did become powerful because of heavenly lightning.” Davis shook his head with a smile, ”However, there is something you must understand. Unlike magical beasts that are unable to absorb anything other than their elemental nature in order to evolve or mutate, spirits are different. They are sources of a particular attribute. As long as they find another energy source of their attribute, they can absorb it at higher efficiency and improve themselves, evolving into their limit before transcending into something else.”

”Something else?” Eldia blinked.

Was she no longer a spirit?

Davis chuckled at Eldiaʼs blank expression before revealing the answer, ”Heaven-Tier. In other words, heavenly sources that can almost be equated to heavenly resources.”

Eldia gawked at Davis but unceremoniously returned his gaze to his first wife. The source of this content is .

”Evelynn, you should know the Poison Essence you refined had absorbed many Spirit Attribute Sources of different properties, right?”

”I understand.” Evelynnʼs brows widened, ”As long as spirits have a source of elemental energy to absorb from, they can grow in a limitless manner until they reach the next level, which is evolving into a Heaven-Tier Spirit Source or Spirit. There is no bloodline limit suppressing them, and even if it is there, it is breakable like bottlenecks.”

”Exactly.” Davis smirked as he turned to look at Eldia, ”I believe you have become a Heaven-Tier Spirit.”

”Heaven…?” Eldia blinked a few more times, ”Me...?”

Davis shrugged, ”Of course, Heaven-Tier Spirit Attribute Sources are also naturally born into this world like Earth-Tier Spirit Attribute Sources, but unlike the latter, it seems that the former is difficult to encounter that their rarity is said to be equivalent to King-Tier and Emperor-Tier Immortal Beasts.”

”Even the ranking charts of Immortal Grade Elemental Spirits are under wraps of major powers since they want to keep it as mysterious as possible so those who luckily encounter them donʼt have the chance to recognize them.”

”Woah~” Nadia reacted with interest, her eyes surging with battling intent as her voice echoed in a challenging tone, ”Since the spirits are categorized and ranked on prowess, what pushes them to be considered Heaven-Tier?”

”Iʼm not sure, but according to Founder Alstreim, an Earth-Tier Spirit Attribute Sourceʼs prowess wouldnʼt exceed three levels while an Earth-Tier Spiritʼs prowess wouldnʼt exceed five levels increase in prowess. After they become immortals, their prowess lowers by half. Since Heaven-Tier Spirit Sources are immortal level existences, they are able to at least cross three levels at the very least.”

”I see…” Nadia widened her brows. It was no wonder Heaven-Tier Spirit Attribute Sources were said to be equivalent to King-Tier Immortal Beasts.

”Yes.” Davis nodded, ”For our Eldia whoʼs able to reach five levels higher in prowess even in the Immortal Stage, I am convinced that sheʼs a bonafide Heaven-Tier Spirit.”

”With no conclusive proof to claim from the charts and only your Founderʼs words?” Evelynn alluringly smiled, causing Davis to shrug again.

”Well, she mutated from a Purgatory Extinction Lightning Spirit into this heavenly form, her prowess exceeding five levels even after she became an immortal. We might as well as categorize her as a Heaven-Tier Spirit and increase her reputation among us.”
