Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 1354 - Supreme Domains?

A blood-red domain abruptly expanded with Top Disciple Vito Rein as the center.

It began to cross the two hundred and fifty-meter radius in the threshold, surpassing Flawed Domain and entering Mediocre Domain. It did not stop and continued to expand in radius, traversing the five hundred meter threshold, transcending the Mediocre Domain, entering the level of Impeccable Domain before it continued to rise and reached a kilometer in radius, the very limit of an Impeccable Domain!

However, it still did not stop and continued to rise!

Everyone instantly knew that the domain reached the threshold to be counted as a Supreme Domain!

Looking at the domain that continued to rise in range, their eyes bulged in doubt as they stared at Top Disciple Vito Reinʼs increasing prowess.

Thousand and fifty meters...

Thousand and hundred meters...

Thousand and three hundred meters...

It reached a thousand and five hundred meters in radius before it stopped expanding, beginning to radiate intense burning phoenix flames within the range of the domain!

”You arenʼt going to naively think that Iʼm going to give you the time to use the Everburning Dance of the Burning Phoenix, right?”

Top Disciple Vito Rein cracked a smile as he pointed at Shirley, who seemed to raise her hands instead of summoning her domain like him. He knew that she would cast the Everburning Dance of the Burning Phoenix, so he quickly neared her and caught her in the range of his domain.

*Sssss!~*

Burning phoenix flames abruptly erupted inside his domain as it pounced on Shirley from the side as they tried to burn her to ashes! Shirley looked unable to retaliate as she dropped her arms and retreated.

However, she was already inside his domain.

Top Disciple Vito Rein cruelly smiled as he knew that he caught her off guard. He felt that it was better to say that she made the wrong opening move and fell to his preemptive strike!

”!!!”

The deadly burning phoenix flames quickly caught onto Shirleyʼs crimson robes as her expression changed, instantly lighting her up into a human torch!

He sneakily snarled as he heard gasps and screams from the crowd who seemed to worry for Shirley, but looking at her image fade into the blazing fire, he knew that he had been fooled by the Burning Phoenix Plume Burst Technique, which is the supreme movement technique of their Burning Phoenix Ridge.

However, he had precisely used this to quickly close the distance, so he wasnʼt surprised to see her dodge and evade his domainʼs attack. His narrowed eyes moved around as he saw her silhouette moving at an incredible speed around him. She was even faster than him as she maintained her distance with his domain, not allowing herself to be caught in it.

”Hehe... Shirley, donʼt run away from me because Iʼm going to very carefully mold you in my warmth...”

A soul transmission fell on Shirleyʼs mind, causing her to slow down her flying as she looked at him, her ruby-like eyes flashing in a strange light.

”Are you sure that your elder brother will not slap you again if you dare to harm me...?” She sent an amused soul transmission back, causing Top Disciple Vito Rein to feel a stinging pain resurface on his cheek because of the earlier slap.

He moved his arm and almost touched his cheek, but then realized that he was once again humiliated by this prideful woman! His expression became hideous, but he didnʼt say anything as he rushed and no longer held back!

*Whoosh!~*

His two feet were now covered in two pairs of tiny wings just like Shirleyʼs as he chased her to attack. It wasnʼt even an instant before he caught up to her, his domainʼs edge covering Shirley in it as his burning phoenix flames quickly spawned beside her, ready to leap.

Shirleyʼs red brows frowned as she flew back, trying to get out of the domain as she waved her hand in a graceful manner.

Her own burning phoenix flames surged out of her hand, blocking Top Disciple Vito Reinʼs burning phoenix flames.

*Sizzle!~* *Sizzle!~*

The burning phoenix flames clashed and began to sizzle as they tried to wipe out each other!

Everyone looked at the struggle between the two flames, and their eyes went wide in astonishment to see that senior sister Shirleyʼs own burning phoenix flames were capable of holding up to Top Disciple Vito Reinʼs burning phoenix flames. It didnʼt even extinguish after two seconds.

It wasnʼt that Shirleyʼs burning phoenix flames were weaker, but everyone knew that she had the strongest flames amongst the Law Dominion Stage Top Disciples. However, Top Disciple Vito Rein had his domain active, and in it, his burning phoenix flames were nothing to laugh about as their prowess had probably increased by many times!

Moreover, it was a Supreme Domain, so the increase in strength could be imagined.

Furthermore, they all knew that Top Disciple Vito Rein possessed a Supreme Domain way back before this competition. However, even in a normal domain, there were plenty of differences, with the most obvious one being the range of the domain. It denotes the prowess and the domainʼs level, whether the domain may be supportive, defensive, or offensive in type.

The top disciples may have all formed an Impeccable Domain in the beginning. Even talented core disciples may have formed the same, but making their domains reach a kilometer radius was extremely hard. If it reached that point, the core disciples could even be subjected to reevaluation to promote and make them become top disciples.

However, reaching the very limit of a kilometer in the level of Impeccable Domain remained impossible for the extreme majority of the core disciples. One or two might luck out and form to reach that level, but they would not be able to keep up their pace and end up being the weakest top disciple like Top Disciple Lauren Zucker, whom Davis had secretly killed.

Nevertheless, Top Disciple Vito Rein had surpassed this level. His Supreme Domain reached the range of thousand and five hundred kilometers, which is better than the most Supreme Domains the top six possessed, except his elder brother who was in the first!

All top disciples in the top six possessed Supreme Domains because all top disciples were required to have a Supreme Domain before they entered the Law Sea Stage. Otherwise, they would be automatically demoted to core disciples upon breaking through into the Law Sea Stage with their measly Impeccable Domain.

This requirement was also why most top disciples took their time, staying in the Peak-Level Law Dominion Stage, collecting resources and solid enough essence energy to reform their domains to Supreme Domain. Otherwise, they wouldʼve long stepped into the Law Sea Stages as their ages were already above a hundred.

In any case, with that kind of prowess in Top Disciple Vito Reinʼs grasp, they knew that he could easily kill the common Low-Level Law Sea Stage Experts and even fight against the weaker Mid-Level Law Sea Stage Experts! It was that fantastic and powerful, and yet, senior sister Shirleyʼs burning phoenix flames were holding up against that, making them deeply astonished.

Indeed, Top Disciple Vito Reinʼs eyes were wide in incredulity as he watched her evenly block his attack. Earlier, he watched her escape, and that made him satisfied, but looking at her now matching his prowess equally, he didnʼt understand.

However, looking at her retreat out of his domain again while their burning Phoenix flames dissipated on sizzling against each other, he suddenly had an epiphany.

ʼOh, sheʼs using concentrated flames to counter mine? Is that a simple version of the Condensed Burning Sun Technique? How ingenious!ʼ

Top Disciple Vito Rein became enamored by her ability to easily manipulate the burning phoenix flames. It wasnʼt an easy feat. The techniques that they all used were all noted in the manual. All they had to do was comprehend the intricacies of the technique, drive their essence energy through the right meridian points along the correct meridian pathways and use the technique.

It was that simple yet difficult as surging with enough intensity and slowing down when intensity is not required is not an easy feat. One could not variate, and if they did variate, it was possible that the technique itself might collapse and harm their own meridians.

To not make it collapse and find the right intensity and pressure to use the technique in another form was a daunting task, and yet Shirley managed to do it, causing him to have an intense d.e.s.i.r.e for her. If he were to obtain her and make her his woman, surely, the benefits in terms of cultivation he would receive would be immense, but he also did not forget the talented progeny that would be born between them.

All this caused him to deeply d.e.s.i.r.e her, but for that, he had to conquer her first!

Burning phoenix flames surged all over the domain as Top Disciple Vito Rein used up forty percent of his essence energy in this single move. His flames continuously cropped up, looking lethal as they kept forming one after another in the one and a half kilometer radius of the domain.

Looking at the many wisps of burning phoenix flames, everyone instantly became aware that Top Disciple Vito Rein was planning to end this battle from this moment forth!

Shirley also stopped running, seemingly raising her hands as intense essence energy surged out of her to release the Everburning Dance of the Burning Phoenix. Her back became covered with the beautiful crimson wings while wisps of burning phoenix flames began to congregate in the domain, forming an extremely big thousand-meter wisp of burning phoenix flame that transformed into a big burning phoenix, looked utterly deadly, capable of causing intense destruction as the cry of the burning phoenix echoed!

The reactions of the elders changed!

They could sense that his attack alone could take out the weaker Mid-Level Law Sea Stage Experts if caught off-guard. It had reached the threshold of Mid-Level Law Sea Stage, causing them to nod in approval, and yet at the same time, they saw Shirley releasing only a single technique that their faces couldnʼt help but change into one of worry for her.

No one liked to see women be needlessly harmed, but if this attack managed to overwhelm the Everburning Dance of the Burning Phoenix, then wouldnʼt it become severe?

Some Grand Elders even sat slightly at the edges of their seats, looking ready to save Shirley.

However, they all had a single doubt attached to the frown on their faces.

Why has Shirley still not used her Supreme Domain to counter Top Disciple Vito Reinʼs Supreme Domain yet? It should be easier to form a domain and escape from this pinch even at this point, right?
