Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 1353 - We EaChapter Wouldʼve Had One

Time passed as the rankings shuffled.

Some top disciples managed to make their way up, and some naturally lost their position in turn. Shirley took this time to recuperate her lost essence energy while Davis calmly watched the battles in preparation for conjuring his own domain.

He got some ideas, but he didnʼt ponder on it too much as none made him overly satisfied, maybe because he felt that he was already invincible among his peers. Some ideas of support domains did excite him, but they probably did not conform to his domain as his manifestation was both overbearingly offensive and defensive.

Davis knew that to form a domain, the Law Manifestation must return to its roots, back to its seed form. The compressed form of Law Manifestation, called the ʼlaw manifestation seedʼ, is still capable of releasing its energy, but that is also where the domain is conceived. In other words, the Law Dominion Stage was directly a superior version of the Law Manifestation Stage, the concentrated manifestation becoming more enormous and extremely powerful in the radius of the conjured domain.

Therefore, the number of changes he could conceive in his domain was limited to the type of power the manifestation had.

For example, his Superior Law Manifestation was both offensive and defensive in an extremely wide range, so his domain would also adopt something of similar nature. Of course, he could forcefully try changing it to support type, but he imagined that his prowess would drop by a large margin, making him instantly negate those ideas.

What he considered were those additional support-type ideas on top of having the offensive and defensive prowess. They catered to his imagination of becoming a supreme being who could rain lightning, create a lightning sea barrier and use the lightning to make his lighting-attributed techniques extremely powerful.

However, before considering all this, he had to conjure a fire-attributed law seed after getting the Infernal Core Flame Leaf, successfully mutating his revolving core, which he lacked confidence in. Still, after conjuring the fire law seed, he would have to manifest a fire law manifestation and produce a domain.

There were so many steps before he could enter the Law Dominion Stage.

But!

Davis was of the idea of fusing his two fire and lightning law seeds! The way to fuse it was written in the Blazing Thunderlight Kirinʼs manual, but he did not know if he could succeed in such an absurdity without having its lightning and flames!

He knew this because he had already gone through the Blazing Thunderlight Kirinʼs manual and found that it supports fusion to a minimal degree, just like Blazing Thunderlight Kirin itself is able to combine its fire and lightning attributes, not more than that.

However, he wasnʼt disappointed but understood.

To perform a fusion of laws was extremely difficult in the first place, and to fuse the berserk energies of fire and lightning was even more difficult than fusing the gentle yin and cold ice. Even if the Blazing Thunderlight Kirin was an Immortal Magical Beast, its limits in fusing these two aggressive laws remained to be seen.

The circulation pathways of the Firestorm World Ode were extremely complex, with some committed to circulate fire and some to circulate lightning, but there were a few meridian pathways where both fire and lightning intersected and ran, giving him another reason to believe that this manual supported the fusion of fire and lightning laws.

All that remained of him was to comprehend such intricacies of the Blazing Thunderlight Kirinʼs flames and lightning, which remained a daunting task without its blood essence. Fortunately, he had consumed a tiny part of its soul essence, making him learn a bit about these intricacies and, from there, perform fusion between fire and lightning with some effort from him.

It should be a pretty big effort from him if he were honest, as he only gained little insights into the fusion of fire and lightning laws after absorbing its exhausted soul essence. He still didnʼt digest and was not capable of digesting it as he still hadnʼt tried out combining fire and lightning, and thatʼs why he also mused that the Blazing Thunderlight Kirinʼs prowess in fusing fire and lightning was limited. Otherwise, that absorption of its soul essence alone shouldʼve provided him with many insights into fusion along with the bestowal of fire laws and lightning laws.

Nevertheless, he was deeply satisfied with what he got, and it was up to him to utilize it.

He had advised Evelynn and Shirley not to be hasty, but he forgot to understand that he should also not be hasty as well. Otherwise, innumerable problems might crop up in his stable and healthy Essence Gathering Cultivation, which he didnʼt want to experience, and he certainly didnʼt want his revolving core exploding on him.

As he pondered, he saw Esvele winning her battle and reaching the fourteenth place before she was completely out of energy. She moved her tired body amidst the crowd as she flew back to her seating. However, the gazes she received now were full of admiration instead of just l.u.s.t. The latter was still there, but it was not blatant anymore, becoming d.e.s.i.r.e and longing instead.

Esvele was now a powerful top disciple, quickly clearing the ranks, crossing from the twenty-third position to fourteenth. She fought nine battles and was finally exhausted as she sat on her seat, looking drained as her bosoms heaved.

Shirley arrived before her and began to help her restore her energy. This caused all the disciples to know that there was unmistakably a sense of friendship and loyalty between them. Moreover, seeing two beauties, one extremely beautiful and the other voluptuous, made them imagine innumerable fantasies.

”Sigh, itʼs a pity that our little brother Schneider died. Otherwise, he couldʼve taken Esvele as his woman, and we wouldʼve each had one proud phoenix, making our father extremely proud...” Top Disciple Azzuren Rein looked sorrowful, while Top Disciple Vito Rein also nodded his head.

”True...”

”But elder brother,” He continued with sending a soul transmission, ”Do you think that Schneider was really killed by Shirley? After all, we all know that something transpired after he gave back a master token to Esveleʼs and a few other core disciples abodes to Sect Master, which allowed Sect Master to berate our father and punish Schneider.”

”Hahaha... I donʼt know if my Shirley had killed him, but if she killed him, then he probably tried to take advantage of her, which I say is natural. He deserved to be killed by her if it were the case, but I donʼt care if she killed him or not, unlike father. I just want her to be mine.”

”I see...” Top Disciple Vito Reinʼs contemplative expression quickly turned l.e.w.d.

”Do you think our little brother had already taken Esveleʼs innocence? After all, he had the master token to her abode...”

”If he did, he could be proud of himself.” Top Disciple Azzuren Rein deeply smiled, ”If he didnʼt, then I am lucky.”

”Huh...?” Top Disciple Vito Rein looked reluctant, ”Elder brother, do you think Iʼll let Esvele go to you? You have Shirley whose incredible prowess you had just seen a while ago, so let me have Verona and Esvele!”

”Fool!”

*PaahhH!~*

A resounding slap echoed as Top Disciple Azzuren Rein slapped his little brother.

”You...!”

Top Disciple Vito Rein stood up, his face becoming filled with a shameful blush while his eyes teared up.

”Esvele is deeply loyal to Shirley, so it is natural that I must keep her with my Shirley, with me! They can both be my charming wives in the near future, so donʼt you dare test my patience after this event.”

The elder brother gave his warning through soul transmission before he no longer bothered to look at his little brother.

ʼF.u.c.k! This bastard already thinks Esvele is his woman... Just you wait...! Iʼll rob them both from you and kill you when I have the chance...!ʼ Top Disciple Vito Reinʼs expression increasingly turned hideous as he glared at his elder brother.

However, he didnʼt dare to make a scene at this moment as his elder brother was at the Mid-Level Law Sea Stage. Unlike a fight between disciples, this would be taken as a fight between brothers, and naturally, he was the one who was going to get his a.s.s kicked while none of the elders would help him because he felt that most of them would side with his elder brother, Azzuren Rein.

Thinking of how helpless he was in terms of support, he almost fumed.

ʼIf I canʼt, I swear Iʼll make a cuckold out of you in the future!!!ʼ

With a blasphemous thought, he returned his gaze to the empty battle stage, not minding the mocking gazes he received from the others as rage enveloped him. Moreover, if it was humiliation, he was already humiliated a while ago when Shirley made him look like an idiot.

All these events made him want to vent as he shot a look towards his followers, a number of core disciples who chose to be his, entertaining him for these few days after coming out of the mini-realm. He began to crave them, wanting to vent his frustrations and l.u.s.t on them, when a voice suddenly echoed.

”I gave you enough time to scram out of this battle arena, but since you were shameless enough to stay, step on the battle stage, Top Disciple Vito Rein...”

He froze, looking at the sudden crimson-robed figure that rushed past him, landing on the northern side of the battle stage. His expression that had just calmed down once again became twisted.

”How dare you!?” He shot up as he bellowed, looking immensely enraged before he leaped and flew towards the battle stage.

He felt that today was not a good day for him, unaware that it was going to turn into even more of a bad day for him as he arrived at the southern end of the battle stage, turning to look at the top disciple who had challenged him.

”I will make you know your place, Shirley.”

Shirley calmly stood on the pristine white floor, her ruby-like eyes shining in an amused light.

”What a coincidence... I felt like saying the same thing, you human trash.”

Top Disciple Vito Rein gritted his teeth as his body trembled, his fists clenching in rage when a voice echoed.

”Let the battle begin!”

*Whoosh!~*

The sound of wind tearing echoed as Top Disciple Vito Rein made his way towards Shirley with his extreme speed!
