New Age Of Summoners

Ajax was, of course, oblivious to the thoughts that were running in the heads of the tribe leader Deon and the tribe leader Errol as he focused on completing the mission as soon as possible before going back to the Purple stone world.

’Swoosh’

Soon, Ajax, two fox tribe leaders and three bird tribe leaders, continued to fly towards the Tailed spirit fox tribe.

....

In the Zrochester province,

”So, what do you guys think about my plan?”

While Ajax was focusing on completing the mission ’Conquer the Western fox lands’, in the mercenary guild, Captain Edmond was planning something as he asked Udo and Rulf who were standing opposite to him.

”The planning is good but you will be overwhelmed with most of the top-level cultivators and if you can’t kill them all, not only you but Udo and your entire squad will be killed.”

After hearing the entire plan from Edmond, Udo nodded his head; however, Rulf frowned because he felt it was very risky.

Even a slight mishap could kill the other squad members of the Hazegrove mercenary squad. So, Rulf was a little doubtful in giving his approval.

”So, I suggest you wait until the Guild master comes back from his secret realm. Then, we can directly ask them in front of the entire world.”

After thinking for a moment, Rulf suggested something to Edmond.

”They planned to kill me. So, I want to kill them with my squad alone. I don’t want the help of the mercenary guild. Moreover, I want to show  the other greater families that my Hazegrove mercenary squad is not be messed with.”

As soon as he finished his words, Edmond signalled Udo before turning back to leave the mercenary guild.

Previously, Edmond and Udo received a mission from the Dusthorn family through the mercenary guild. Later, they found out that it was a trap laid for them by the family.

On the same day, Edmond swore to erase the Dusthorn family and at the same time, he wanted to give a warning to the other great families, so that they would not bother playing tricks with him or his squad.

However, Rulf asked him to wait until the champions contest and Edmond controlled his anger but now Rulf is asking him to wait until the Guild master comes back.

But, why would Edmond continue to wait when he had the confidence to destroy the Dusthorn.

So, while waiting for the guild master, he started creating his own plan to destroy the Dusthorn family along with his squad.

Even though their plan was not perfect, Edmond thought he could pull it off as long as he and Udo were careful.

”Right now, I and Udo are the only members left in the squad. As for Ajax, I am unable to contact him. So, even if it fails, Udo and I are the only ones who are going to die. So, there is no need to worry.”

Just when he was about to exit the room, Edmond stopped in his tracks as he turned back and said those words before leaving the room along with Udo.

’Sigh’

Looking at the disappearing silhouette of Edmond and Udo, Rulf could not help but sigh before muttering, ’Looks like I need to help him.’

Even though Rulf didn’t say that openly, he knew how much his guild master valued Edmond.

So, he didn’t want anything to happen to Edmond.

...

In the Western fox lands,

”Hey, look. Are they flying towards us?”

”Why would bird tribesmen appear in this region?”

”Wait a second. Look, the group even has two fox tribe leaders.”

”What’s more, there is even a human. Looks like he was the one who challenged the two fox tribes and as our tribe leader expected, he is here to challenge our tribe leader.”

”It sure looks like it. It’s been so long since I have seen our tribe leader fight. I hope there will be a good fight ahead.”

In the Tailed spirit fox tribe, all the tribesmen saw the appearance of a group who were flying towards their tribe and started whispering to themselves.

”Someone inform the tribe leader about them.”

While the tribesmen were whispering to themselves, one of the elders of the Tailed spirit fox tribe had also seen them and shouted at his disciple to inform them about the arrival of Ajax.

”Yes, master.”

That disciple rushed into the tribe leader’s house without wasting any time.

”I am waiting for you.”

Before the disciple could inform the tribe leader Cren, the tribe leader Cren himself appeared above his mansion.

”Uncle Errol, wait for a second.”

Seeing that the tribe leader Cren was excited to see their appearance, Errol wanted to convince him into acknowledging Ajax as his master.

However, before Errol could say anything, Ajax stopped him from speaking before ordering the bird tribesmen to land.

”So, you are the one who wants to challenge me? Only a level 2 general realm?”

Similarly, the tribe leader Cren also jumped from his mansion and landed right in front of Ajax before assessing Ajax’s cultivation.

Before he saw Ajax, he was excited about the challenge; however, after assessing Ajax’s cultivation, the tribe leader Cren looked disappointed as he looked at the two fox tribe leaders.

’I wonder why they acknowledged him as their master? Is he hiding his real cultivation?’

Looking at Errol and Deon, the tribe leader Cren started wondering about Ajax’s real cultivation.

”That’s right! My real cultivation is level 2 general realm and I want to challenge you.”

Ajax was annoyed by hearing the same thing again and again about his cultivation and could not help but seriously challenge him.

Actually, he wanted the two tribe leaders to convince them but while flying towards the Tailed spirit fox tribe, he felt that by doing so, it would take time before the tribe leader Cren acknowledged him from the bottom of his heart.

So, he decided to challenge him.
