New Age Of Summoners

Even though Deon spoke jokingly, he secretly signalled his tribesmen to be ready in case the bird tribesmen do something funny.

”It’s all thanks to this young man.”

Pointing his finger at Ajax, Errol replied to Deon.

”Really?”

Deon already felt a bad premonition in his heart when he looked at Ajax and after seeing there were some elemental spirits behind Ajax, Deon understood Ajax was the boss.

’But their cultivation is not even at level 10 elite general realm. How can they help Errol from the 28 fox tribes?’

Nevertheless, Deon was a little unconvinced about the premonition he was feeling inside his body.

Because no elemental spirit under Ajax had the cultivation of the level 10 elite general realm which made him not worry much about Ajax.

”Yes.”

Errol nodded his head with a slight smile on his face.

”I am very happy to see you alive. Anyway, why don’t you just come in? Let’s talk inside.”

Soon, Deon invited Errol and others into the tribe.

As for his initial words coming from Deon about seeing Errol alive happy were just words.

”Okay.”

Errol didn’t want to inform about Ajax’s motive directly. So, Errol also nodded his head and walked into the tribe.

As for Ajax, he was bored with the conversation between Errol and Deon. So, he was checking the information on the demon fox’s statue while walking into the tribe.

’Ding,

Item name:- Banished demon fox’s statue.

          Grade:- Legend grade

Status:- Protector of the Demon fox tribe.

Effect:- 1) It will Bless the tribesmen with courage and determination.

                      2) Protects the demon fox tribe from all kinds of dangers and kills anyone with ill intentions towards the tribe.

Note:- It can even cast the barrier which could protect from the King realm cultivators; however, it can’t attack them.

More details:- According to the legends, the Banished demon fox is banished from the demon world by the demon king despite being loyal to him. Therefore, it is believed that the descendants of the Banish demon fox will hate the demons and would do anything to kill them.

’Huh? Blood enemies?’

Ajax was surprised to find out about the bad blood between the demons and the demon foxes.

’It looks like they will make a good subordinate tribe for me.’

After reading the information on the statue, Ajax felt he had to convince this tribe to become his subordinates at any cost.

’Also, this statue is good but keeping a legend grade item in the open...’

At the same time, he felt the statue was a good item; however, he was surprised that there was a legend grade item right in front of the tribe where everyone could see it.

”They are here.”

Soon, Errol, Deon and Ajax entered into a huge hall where there were other elders of the demon fox tribe, already sitting on the chairs while looking at the entrance as though they were waiting for Deon and others.

After seeing Deon and the other two with him, all the tribe leaders stood up with a respectful look on their faces.

”You can sit.”

Deon asked them to sit before settling in his chair and looking at Errol, Deon asked, ”Errol, do you want to say why you are here?”

”Just like always, straight to the point.”

Errol nodded his head as he continued, ”Before I state the purpose of my visit, I want you to calm down.”

”Sure.”

With a frown, Deon nodded his head as he waved his hand for Errol to continue.

”This young man wants you to become his subordinate. What do you say?”

Soon, Errol revealed the reason for their visit without beating around the bush.

’I hope you don’t try anything funny.’

As for Ajax, he was just hoping the demon fox tribesmen would not attack them.

If they were to attack them, Ajax didn’t mind killing them.

”Sure.”

To Ajax’s surprise, the tribe leader of the demon fox tribe, Deon nodded his head with a calm look.

Not only the tribe leader Deon, but all the other elders were also surprisingly very calm.

’What? Is it over just like that?’

Ajax could not help but feel excited and looked at Errol only to see a frown on Errol’s face.

’What is it, uncle Errol? Is there something wrong?’

As soon as he noticed that, Ajax hurriedly asked Errol.

’I think there is something really wrong. I know Deon very well that he would not agree to follow someone without making things difficult for them.’

Errol transmitted his voice back to Ajax.

”You know the rules, right? As long as he defeats me and gets the approval of the ancestor statue, we don’t mind following him.”

As expected, Deon spoke nonchalantly while looking at Ajax and Errol.

Deon was very sure that Ajax was just a young master from some good cultivation family and wanted some followers.

Actually, it was very common for the young master from greater worlds to accept some cultivators or tribes as his subordinates if he felt they were worth it.

However, it was never in the Wester fox lands until now but it was mentioned in the records of their ancestor.

In those records, it had mentioned they had to follow someone who could take them to higher levels and that is the reason why the ancestors of the three fox tribes had left the conditions for them to check for the master they were going to follow.

Since Ajax wants them as their subordinates, Deon wanted to give him a chance because he was able to save Errol from the pursuit of the fox tribes.

Moreover, while entering into the main hall, Errol said that the grey-furred fox tribe was destroyed by the 27 fox tribes and they were in turn destroyed by Ajax.

Also, there was something about Ajax that made Deon feel a bad premonition in his heart. So, he wanted to test that out by fighting him.
