New Age Of Summoners

’Swoosh’

”Master Ren, wait...”

Even though Ajax tried to stop Master Ren to ask whether he could take the crystals from the king realm elemental spirits or not, he disappeared without a trace.

’It looks like I can take them.’

Earlier, when Master Ren burned Master Red’s elemental spirits into ashes, they left some crystals; however, Ajax and Elen didn’t dare to take the crystals because they didn’t kill them.

Moreover, they were worried that their actions might anger Master Ren.

So, just when Master Ren finished his words and about to leave, Ajax tried to ask about those crystals. But, nevertheless, Master Ren disappeared without even bothering to listen to his words.

”Also, he gave permission to take Master Red’s body. I hope I can get something good by refining his corpse.”

While walking to the place filled with crystal left behind by the fire elemental spirits, Ajax took a look at the corpse lying some distance away from him and silently thought to himself.

Before Master Ren left, he gave permission for Ajax to take the corpse of Master Red.

Even though there will be no crystals or treasures inside the corpse of a King realm, the body itself is a treasure.

It is not useful for everyone; however, to the cultivators who know who to refine the blood of others, it will be very useful.

Also, there is another profession, just like beast tamers and alchemists. It is to refine the entire corpse and make the corpses their slaves. Hence, they are called Corpse refiners.

Even though Ajax knew neither to refine the corpses or the blood, he could use the Arcane green spirit turtle to refine anything into something useful.

As for Master Ren, he didn’t have the faintest idea of what Ajax would do with the corpse. But, nevertheless, he was not worried that Ajax could harm him in any way.

Moreover, he has something on his mind. So, he was not thinking properly.

Somewhere in the Shixato wilds,

’Swoosh’

In a cave lit with some spirit stones, Master Ren appeared with a serious look on his face.

’Why did I talk about my Master to him? How can I lose control?’

Master Ren was clearly not happy about what he had spoken with Ajax earlier because he had never spoken about his master to anyone, including his group members.

’There is something about him that makes me relax my guard. I need to be careful.’

Master Ren, a powerful cultivator who could kill a king realm cultivator without any difficulty, was thinking to be careful when he was around Ajax, who was only a level 2 general realm cultivator.

’I need to know more about him.’

Finally, after thinking for a moment, Master Ren wanted to observe Ajax more and wanted to find out the reason why he let down his guard earlier.

’Swoosh’

’Sumo, as usual, keep an eye on him and if he lands in any trouble from the other two regions, protect him. Remember, observe what kind of trump cards he is hiding on him and protect him when he is only an inch away from death.’

With a thought, Master Ren summoned his dual elemental spirit and gave some orders before sitting down in a cross-legged position to cultivate and recover his strength.

”Yes, summoning master.”

The sun moon dual elemental spirit knew what his master wanted and nodded his head before disappearing from the cave.

After receiving back-to-back surprises from Ajax, Master Ren was sure Ajax had many more secrets about him.

However, he was not the type to force someone to know their trump cards, and at the same time, he wanted to completely know about Ajax because he had high hopes for him.

’The more trump cards he has, the better it will be.’

After his elemental spirit left the cave, Master Ren revealed a slight smile on his face while his eyes remained closed.

.....

Back in the open ground, Ajax was collecting the stones left by the King realm elemental spirits.

’11 King realm elemental spirit stones and three level 10 elemental law stones.’

Ajax slowly stored them in his inventory after checking the information on them.

Among the 11 elemental spirits, only three left behind their elemental spirit stones.

’System, once a cultivator enters into the King realm, they will only have an elemental soul, right? So then why are these elemental spirits left behind their elemental law stones?’

After storing them inside his inventory, Ajax asked the system about his doubt.

’Ding,

When a King realm elemental spirit was killed, the elemental soul from their body would turn back into an elemental law. As for getting the elemental law stone of that law depends on luck just like the elite general realm elemental spirit who learned an elemental law.

’Oh. So, it is like that.’

Finally, Ajax understood the reason why the King realm elemental spirits still left behind the elemental law stones despite the fact they have already condensed an elemental soul from their elemental law.

’I will check these elemental law stones after I go back to the white castle.’

Even though there was so much he had to do, Ajax’s first instinct was to go back to the white castle.

So, he walked towards Master Red’s corpse and stored it in his inventory before walking towards Elen.

”So, are you going back to the summoner’s base?”

Ajax asked Elen with a slight smile on his face.

Ajax already knew that he couldn’t go back to the fire base because the cultivators from the fire base must have already seen that Elen had betrayed Master Red which was betraying the fire base itself.

”I can’t go back to the fire base, and if I am not wrong, the summoner’s group must have already got informed about the death of Master Red.”

Elen had a worried look on his face as he explained, ”Even though Master Red was banished very far away from the summoner’s group, they will send someone to kill me, you and Master Ren.”

Elen felt grateful to Ajax and Master Ren for saving him from Master Red; however, compared to Ajax, he knew more about the summoner’s group and how far they could go.

”Don’t worry. Master Ren is very powerful, and he also knew about Master Red’s background. Since he killed Master Red despite knowing his identity, Master Ren must be confident in going against the summoner’s group.”

Ajax stayed silent for a moment before replying to Elen.

”It might be true, but Master Ren is only a single cultivator. So how can he go against the summoner’s group?”

Elen already saw Master Ren’s prowess, but how can a single powerful cultivator be compared to a powerful organization called Summoner’s group.

”Since you have already left the summoner’s group, you have to face what has to come. As for me, I am always ready to face it, Friend.”

Ajax said to Elen with a face full of confidence.

Even though Elen tried to kill Ajax previously, Ajax liked Elen’s character a little because of how Elen treated his elemental spirits as his family.

It was like he wanted to go against a powerful existence but would not sacrifice his elemental spirits.

So, Ajax felt Elen could become his good friend.
